Cioffi's Deli & Pizza

I was looking through Door Dash for a quick sandwich for lunch and this place had a high rating, was close, and the pictures looked appetizing. I ordered the Pappa Cioffis sandwich and a Manhattan espresso soda (love when I find a place that has these) the sandwich was delicious- not dry but not saturated with oil. I don’t know if they make their own rolls but they definitely earn points for delicious bread as well. I was impressed and next time will bypass door dash and order directly from them when I’m in need of a delicious work lunch. I look forward to trying the chicken parm.

Once in awhile you come across a business owner who takes enormous pride in their products, and makes them as though they are making it for their own family. I called Cioffi's and got Jerry the owner, who helped make my friend's birthday extra special by honoring my request for a heart-shaped pizza to be delivered to his house on his birthday. Jerry was in on it from the moment I explained what I wanted, as excited and joyful about the surprise as I hoped our friend would be! He was excited about our idea, excited for my friend, and excited to play his part in the whole thing. He even sent me texts as he was preparing it and just before he gave it to the delivery guy. I am so grateful for such a well executed (and delicious!!!!) surprise. Thank you, Jerry!!! Stay YOU!!

From the owner to the workers being friendly. Every time my wife and I go in there, we are greeted with smiles and hi. They ask us how we are doing. The pizza is fresh and not greasy like most places. The chocolate cake is so delicious. The right amount of chocolate. My new number one place for pizza.

The pizza, the bread and the salads are great here along with their cookies. My dad introduced me to this location and I love it. The customer service here is great, they’re all busy at times prepping so you may have to call for their attention but they’re always available. I always recommend the pizza here, salads and breads, the other pre made stuff not as much just due to my preference.

Cioffis is the perfect representation of what a deli should be like. You feel welcomed as soon as you walk in, fresh ingredients and an amazing selection of food. They’ve been the best in the area for decades and it’s easy to see why.

Great Italian food and wonderfully friendly service. My husband likes the lasagna and chicken Parmesan. He says it's the best he has ever had. I had the chicken Marsala which was cooked perfectly, tender and delicious. Has a deli and pizza also.

Visited with a local Springfield friend from the UK, the owner was extremely lovely and very hospitable. Food was wonderful very fresh and authentic. Took amazing care of us with a wonderful Espresso and treat to finish.

Delicious, authentic food at a fair price!

Came to New Jersey for work training and Cioffi’s was recommended very highly by locals, decided it was absolutely vital to try the pizza. The location is small and charming, and the staff is very friendly and energetic! The pizza was truly an amazing experience, and unlike anything I’ve ever had back home in California. Tried their cannoli, and the fresh strawberries were perfect with it. I’m a little sad to leave, the food is so good! Thanks, Cioffi’s. I hope to visit again someday!!

They go above and beyond always treat you like family food is amazing and saw them making a snow man pizza and made sure the kids got to see Santa

The atmosphere is lively, never a sour face there. A great spot to pick up a good sandwich, salad, pizza or even dinner on your way home. Their Italian dishes are hot and ready to go. The portions, generous.

My inlaws have been eating here for years, they have also catered a few events including my baby shower.

For sure one of the best Italian deli in NJ. The owner is always present and make everyone feel welcome. Great food for the money. All employees are very friendly. For sure you need to check it out for yourself.

Wow I love this place I come here on lunch break about 3 times a week. Today my exact words were “who’s responsible for that soup”. Funny thing thing is I hadn’t even ate it yet it just loloked very good. Long story short one of the best soups I ever had. It’s the turkey soup which they only make a few times a month. I wish I had gotten a bigger size it was delicious. Great restaurant !
