Brick Oven Westfield

Decided to give this place a try since it was one of the top best pizza spots in nj. After coming here .. I can definitely see why it got the rating that it did.
The atmosphere is very low light intimate fine dining and very modern like. They give complimentary bread and butter. We started off with bruscetta .. it was very fresh & delightful. Then we decided to go with the classic allá margherita pizza - so crispy, the cheese and sauce was very flavorful.. a must try for first timers. It is also a BYOB restaurant. Over all an amazing spot , just be aware that they only accept AMEX cards or cash.

The Brick Oven is a small, intimate restaurant with a warm and cozy interior. The lighting sets the mood and the restaurant has an interesting multi-level dining area with one section being raised up. I really admire the unique layout.
Complimentary bread came with the meal. It's perfectly fluffy and light so it won't fill you up too quickly before the main course. The pizza is phenomenal. The crust is perfectly thin. The sauce is light and sweet with good ratios to the fresh, greasy cheese. I really enjoyed the pizza. The staff was also quite friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend enjoying a pleasant dinner at this spot.

BYO. Great outdoor seating. Great food. Especially on a Tuesday night in the summer - it’s the best location to dine while enjoying the live music. They take reservations if you call ahead.

Brick oven is amazing . We never have a bad meal . The ambiance is wonderful. The staff is professional and the food is just delicious. Look forward to going once a week

The outdoor seating is super comfortable and the waiters and waitresses are super nice. Very attentive to requests and quick with their actions. The food is incredible, the pizza is the best. Thank you!

Great food and service. Stuffed Meatballs were life changing so says my daughter. Shrimp and garlic sauce was excellent. Homemade pasta was great. Mushroom ravioli and my gemelli with shrimp and escarole was outstanding. BYOB restaurant that has been a solid go-to in Westfield for many years.

We've heard a lot of great things about Brick Oven in Westfield, and we were there earlier for dinner. Absolutely awesome, fresh, hot, delicious, authentic food, large portions, reasonable prices, BYOB!!!, and outstanding & attentive servers. The Red Snapper special, with Scallops, was some of the best fish I've ever had in my entire life, anywhere! I can see why so many people speak so highly about this cute & quaint, family-owned Italian restaurant in the heart of Westfield... Enthusiastically recommended to all. A+++++

Arguably the best restaurant in Westfield. The most consistent Italian comfort meal in the area, and has been for years. Necessary staples are the focaccia and garlic shrimp. The sausage rigatoni I think about and crave until I have it again. The Brick Oven NEVER disappoints. Wait staff is always great when dining in.

First visit was right before Christmas, really enjoyed the more quaint atmosphere compared to Ferraro's. Food was excellent - especially the fried calamari. It was so fresh and delicious. Looking forward to my next visit

We shared the cucumber and tomato salad with blackened shrimp and a margarita pie well-done. Both were very good and our server Joe took good care of us as it was our first time dinning there. Be aware that if you rarely carry cash they only honor American Express and they do have an ATM at the rear of restaurant.

This review is solely based on a take out experience. I got the prosciutto di Palma and it was fantastic. I know it was just a sandwich, but I could taste the quality of each individual ingredient. I'll be back for dinner for sure.

Consistently delicious italian, and therefore one of our favorite go-to's. Also, I love that it's a byo. Foccacia, house salad, stuffed meatballs yum!

I saw some of these recent posts about the Brick Oven and I really find them hard to believe. Ive been a long time customer of this restaurants and the owner treats every customer like family. Great food and atmosphere for a date night or dinner with the family. By far one of our favorite restaurants in NJ.

What a great place! Great atmosphere, great service and great food. I can always count on the Brick Oven for a good meal. The staff is warm and inviting and the food never disappoints. I'll come back for the pizza time and again. I love the Rigatoni Sausage and the cannoli is amazing!

What a surprise. I expected good food and service. What we received was fabulous. My review may be influenced by Brick Oven's 25 year special price fix menu. Appetizer, entree, coffee and canole dessert for $25.

I’ve been going to The Brick Oven for over 25 years. The food is always great and consistent. I’ve never had a bad meal there. And the place usually is crowded with a lot of their regular customers which shows the level of consistent food quality and service. Definately a must try if you’re in the area!

Ever since I have lived in Westfield, the Brick Oven has been my go to restaurant. To start off, the atmosphere is so lively and romantic. It is the perfect place to have a family meal or to celebrate an anniversary. The staff is very kind and attentive, they always are on task. If you come from 6-8 on weekends, you will need to wait 30 minutes for a table. On those nights the service can be a little behind, due to the amount of tables occupied. Everything on the menu is delicious. You can order anything and it will be exceptional. I highly recommend any soup, the meatball pizza, chicken parm and raviolli. The Brick Oven is an amazing restaurant, if you come you will not be disappointed.

This place is amazing! Been coming here forever. Excellent quality food every single time. Never disappoints!! Definitely check this place out if you're in town and want authentic Italian food.
