Orange County Commissioner of Jurors

The paperwork with the jury summons and the website do not give a method to explain why a summoned juror cannot serve. My summoned husband in an Elant Physical Rehab facility for an undetermined period of time. He suffers from high blood pressure, diabetic neuropathy, heart disease and related aging disabilities. Currently ie uses a wheel chair and needs help to go to the bathroom and to get dressed. He does not drive because he cannot move his leg from gas to brake. He is also incontinent and wears adult diapers. He also falls asleep while sitting up and would fall asleep during jury deliberations. Why is it so difficult to be able to give you this information. Believe me, you do not want him as a juror. If I am called I would have a problem also as in order to stay mobile and pain free, I cannot remain seated for a full hour. If I do not move, I suffer from sciatic pain that is not helped by non narcotic pain killers. These are not medical conditions appropriate for potential jurors. I would give you -5 stars if I could.
