SUCH a great downtown Westfield gem. The cardamom vanilla latte is legit to die for and is worth every penny. They have gluten free macarons and sometimes a GF cookie, but otherwise, I haven't had any of their snacks. East street parking or .50c per hour parking in the back. Thank you for being awesome!

Perfect coffee shop. Friendly and professional staff. Delicious coffee and pastries. Comfortable seating with space for everyone and different options of seating depending on your needs. Overall a solid spot worthy of returning again and again.

They roast coffee beans themselves and the coffee tastes and aromas are excellent. The interior is very neat. Also, the pandemic quarantine rules were well followed, and some of the guests sitting inside were wearing masks too.

Absolutely love this little coffee shop. The interior is so cute and peaceful. Staff is super nice. Loved just grabbing a drink and chilling in there for a bit. One hundred percent recommend the Honey Cinnamon latte. That was one of the best iced lattes I’ve had in a while. I will for sure be back next time I’m in town. Now onto my COVID commentary as of February 2022. Everyone is still wearing masks and as long as it’s not too packed, the seating is very comfortable and socially distanced.

Go to place for delicious coffee. Iced sugar free vanilla latte is perfection - never too sweet or the hot honey cinnamon latte. Also, they have great pastries from local shops with gluten free and vegan options.

Popped in for a cold brew and immediately loved the vibe! The space is actually very large so it seems like a great place to stop in and catch up with some old friends and catch up. The coffee is delicious also. No bitter taste after like most other places. It happens to be their one year anniversary so they have some fun games and prizes! Its defiantly a place I will pop in more often!

I love the cold brew. I come here (from Roselle Park lol) for it when I run out or forget to make my own.

Whole beans are good too. A little expensive but justified by the quality.

The service is a little slow, but the atmosphere is fantastic, and the coffee is great.

It’s like they took a coffee shop from SoHo and put it right in downtown Westfield.

A perfect coffee shop to me has to have just the right blend of great tasting coffee, friendly staff and an inviting and cozy ambience. Boxwood scores high on all 3 of those things!

Whether you want to have a cup of coffee and reconnect with an old friend or sit down and crank out work, Boxwood Coffee is your perfect neighborhood cafe. I could see 2 Entrepreneurs sitting at a table discussing the next big start up. Or all of the local high schoolers sitting at a table after school. Watch out because this place will become the new hot spot!

When you walk in the front door the color scheme and layout are open, inviting and bright. The music is current and relaxing but at the same time invigorating and exciting. (They were playing Anderson Paak when I went in) And it’s played at the right volume. There are other coffee shops in the area where the music is so loud you can’t even think let alone have a conversation or get work done.

Side note - I’d love to see them feature local musicians. It’s a great space for local singer songwriters!

The barista’s behind the counter walked me through some suggestions for my morning coffee and pointed me towards their seasonal lighter roast. They were very well-informed and told me the complete story behind the coffee beans and walked me through a flavor/tasting profile.

I love it when I know the story behind my food and coffee. It makes my experience more exciting and worth sharing with other people.

I highly recommend trying their seasonal spring coffee. It’s light with tastes and notes of cantaloupe and melon...a perfect but not too heavy jump start to your morning.

In summary if you’re looking for one of the best cups of coffee in town combined with “SoHo Sophistication” this is definitely the place to go.

Great coffee, slightly pricey but tracks for a Westfield small business. Cozy spot to catch up with a friend.

Absolutely love Boxwood!! It’s my go to place in Westfield - has a great ambiance and a lot of space and lighting to get some work done (strong wifi!)

Their coffee also is great and they have a fresh vanilla sugar syrup that u can pour on any drink! I love getting an iced cap with almond milk and adding the syrup and cinnamon!

If you need a pick me up and you are tired of the cookie cutter coffee shop, drop by this place the staff is extremely friendly and helpful with Wi-Fi on site and plenty of plugs to charge you devices.

HUGE Boxwood fan here! I live a 10 minute walk so I go all the time. Chai tea latte and honey lavender latte are my favorite drinks to date. Also the doughnuts are fantastic (my favs are the tres leches doughnut, and when in season, the ginger doughnut). Fantastic place to sit down and get some work done or meet a friend or take yourself out on a date!
