Cafe Madeline

This used to be my sleeper spot but it looks like the secret is out. Friendliest staff, short wait times even with the long lines. Try the maple latte, it’s my favorite! If you love matcha, you will be obsessed with this spot. They have such a unique menu and everything is so fresh.

Probably one of my favorite places in Brooklyn.

They've stood in the times of COVID in NYC and are thriving!

My favorite restaurant in Ditmas Park, but also possibly in Brooklyn! The staff is so sweet and kind, the food is so consistently delicious and they have the BEST coffee drinks in the neighborhood. Prices vary depending on what you get and how you customize it, but I feel like for the high quality ingredients they’re super appropriate.

The menu is constantly being updated but they keep a core 50-ish items that never change. The new things they’re always adding are so creative and interesting and always make me want to try something I wouldn’t necessarily normally try!

I had the brekkie sandwich. It was a little messy but nice. Very filling! My friend had the roasted potato’s and mushroom and added Turkey bacon :-)

The cafe is quiet big inside, the staff are friendly. Coffee was ok quiet milky. Would definitely go back there again.

I'm happy to share my experience with you! I've been to this place a few times and I must say that their food is pretty good. I usually go for their coffee bowls, salads, breakfast items, and basically everything on the menu. However, I suggest that you dine in or go for pickup instead of delivery as some personnel may not handle fragile items well. But of course, it's always up to you to decide what works best for you!

The food was incredibly fresh and so tasty. Very well prepared. The staff is so friendly and the atmosphere is inviting. Definitely make a stop here every chance you get

I ordered smth wrong (a sandwich with Halloumi but I'm a vegan) and it was no problem at all. The waiter offered to change the halloumi to Tofu and they made me a whole new sandwich even with vegan bread. It was so delicious!

A great place for healthy food. When I lived nearby 4 years ago, Cafe Madeline is my favorite bagel place. I love their bagel and lox to death. Last week I went back to NYC and tried to get the perfect bagel in my memory. Overall the indigents were fresh, but I think the flavor changed a little bit. The cream tasted more like sour cream instead of cream cheese. But the smoked salmon was still the best! Though it was not the one in my memory, I would still highly recommend everyone to try this.

Delicious food, whenever I'm in the neighborhood it's definitely a place I want to pop by.

Super fresh ingredients and preparation. Tons of indoor and outdoor seating. Love the menu but they def need way more vegan options. Great spot for breakfast/lunch/brunch.

I had breakfast here & it was delicious. I had the herbed biscuit with eggs cheese & avocado and waffles.

Accidentally walked into this place but their selection of drinks is astonishing, not to mention the quality of said drinks. I had the rose petal but seems they do all their drinks well. Food seemed a bit pricey but turns out there is enough in one order to have 3 meals. Overall i would highly recommend even if just for the drinks alone.
Drinks i am referencing are all lattes by the way.

Came here for Sunday brunch. The place is small and casual. There's no sit down service for those who are new to the place, if you're coming in with a group you should probably find seating first. You order at the front and they will bring the food to your table.

The food was presented well and it was really tasty. The drinks are average with a beautiful presentation. Only thing I wish they would fix is the ventilation in the place. When I came out of the place, i smelled like grease. Overall, excellent place to eat!

Really great London Fogs! The service is so great. The staff really care and are always smiling and asking about your day. They also have really great pastries - check out the bear cookies, they are addictive!

Visited on a Sunday morning at noon and snagged a table inside. The menus were overwhelming so I would recommend taking a look beforehand.
The PSA smoothie with banana was hands down the best smoothie I’ve ever had. Pink Morning smoothie bowl was tart, but good. I would recommend not getting the raspberries or adding extra granola for sweetness. For our mains, we had the brekkie sandwich on a croissant and the Madeline brioche plate - delicious! We also tried the cinnamon bun (not pictured) which had a little hint of lemon.
Everything was delicious! I craved this for the next two days after our visit 🤤

I’m always taken away by their good service and their quality of food/drinks. The coffee here is fantastic and it’s a absolute joy watching the chef cooking while you’re waiting by the drinks area, pure art. Try their fig+apple sandwich, their mocha latte, regular coffee and their cold brew.

They also have the worlds healthiest tea I believe that’s what it’s called - it’ll cure any kind of cold/flu/virus!

Also remember they have a handful of menus so look thru everything before placing your order.

Cute place with casual upbeat vibe. Designer fun furniture , friendly staff, delicious looking and tasting food. The bowls are of a good portion filled with delicious protein. Mostly locals from neighbourhood, good mix of customers— singles with laptop, couples on date, strollers mom (as proof, they have high chair lol). Has outdoor and indoor seats (But no one check vaccine status for you to dine indoor when I walked in today). Def will be back if in the area.

TASTY! And super reasonable prices. Great service. Long menu, lots of selections but not in a bad, diner food kind of way. Everything is described and looks great, you may have a hard time making a selection. Had the breakfast biscuit sandwiches and an almond butter latte. I will be going back regularly. I can't believe I took me so long to try it, I've been walking by for a while and was interested but couldn't tell from the outside what I was missing all along...

Not sure why I haven't written a review for this place, as I've been coming here for at least a year now and have never had a bad experience.

Their food is top notch. My favorite's gotta be the Grilled Cheese Omelette. Everything on the menu is a tiny bit pricier than most places, but as soon as you see the food you'll understand why. Everything tastes amazing and their plating is on another level.

As far as coffee goes, their cold brew is super solid, but I recommend trying the Macadamia Latte—hot or iced—with just a little agave.

The best part about this place is that it's huge, beautiful, and bright. It gets busy but there's almost always one or two seats up for grabs, and plenty of places to plug in if you need to charge up your phone or use your laptop. It's a great place to sit down for a while and get some work done.
