Colony Club Apartments

Colony club is a great place to live! Greg was so helpful throughout the whole process of getting added to the waitlist, preferences, keeping us updated, signing and much more. Maintenance is SO speedy and helpful. Pool is great, greenery is so peaceful and beautiful. Gym could use a few more machines and a good clean but is good for what I need. Windows are old and definitely makes it cold in the winter when physically near the windows, but the heat and AC are both fantastic. We never felt too hot or too cold. The only thing with the heat/AC is the complex has set dates they turn them on and off. Apartment was clean when we moved in. The carpet is outdated, wondering if they have considered adding cheap laminate flooring? Area is definitely safe and they just reverently installed new cameras. Lots of things to do in the area and pretty walkable. I’ve lived here for 1 year and we just re-signed for another year. Rent only raised by $20. It’s so convenient that all utilities are included in the rent besides wifi!

Anyone who knows me, knows how much I loved living here! I lived at Colony Club for 8 1/2 of the past 10 years. Just moved out in March 2024. First in a two bedroom with a roommate for 2 1/2 years. Then, after a year away, I came back and lived in a single bedroom for 5 1/2 years. The only reason I moved out was to move abroad.

The buildings are not the most beautiful on the outside, I'll admit, but this place is absolutely fabulous in every other way. Phenomenal management - responsive, kind, respectful, informative, genuinely caring. The BEST maintenance team. I saw minimal (from my perspective) turnover in their staff over almost a decade of living there. Which says a lot about the treatment of the those who work at Colony Club.

I was always so impressed with the landscaping - the flowers were beautiful and the area around the creek and the pool was so well cared for. It made for a beautiful environment to relax in.

People are treated like people here, not dollar signs. And when you're looking for a place to live day to day, that matters.

Side note - the parking situation is so convenient. Never had to struggle to find a place to park! And living here made life very walkable - to Krogers across the street, over to Grandview Ave for movies or great food and coffee, next door to a great little bar and amazing pizza - Meisters.

Loved living here! The colony club is an amazing place to live. Quiet, nice facilities (pool!), great management, reliable maintenance, overall a really lovely place to live. Only moving because the apartment was a bit small and far from my work. But this was a really great place to live!!

Colony Club was the best apartment complex I have ever lived in! When I moved in, the apartment was sparkling clean. Whenever I needed something replaced or submitted a maintenance request, I was helped within 24 hours. Greg and his team are so responsive and will make sure that everything you need is taken care of. Location was great: I felt extremely safe and you are near a lot of amazing restaurants and bars. The actual apartments are very nice and spacious, parking is free and always open, and the pool is nicely kept! Would recommend living here!!

Quick and reliable maintenance. Nice and safe semi-isolated neighborhood. Kroger is just across the street.
The apartment is good but big families need more space. That is why we moved.
They have a nice creek passes through the community. They adding more tables and grilling area, enhancing the space around the creek. Good gym room.
every year they have a new addition on the community.
The school by address is Cranbrook Elementary school, which is a good school with helpful staff.

I have lived here for three years and have really enjoyed it! I feel like management has been fair, maintenance is quick, and the grounds are well kept. They have recently repaved the parking lot, added equipment to a workout room, bought new washers and dryers, and a new water heater for the buildings. I love the location and the price is cheaper than most apartments in the area.

Also- I have never had a problem with safety here. Management notified us of a car break in around the area once when it happened and told us to take extra precautions. This happens all the time the closer to campus you get, and I have only heard of the one time here in the past three years.

Stayed there for 5 months (till June) this year, I really enjoyed it. I picked this apartment complex originally because they were the only one that had clean parking lot on a snowy day among all the other ones I checked under similar renting rates. After I moved in, I could hear snow plow in the morning if it had snowed the previous night. The maintenance guys were very efficient and they would always respond in a timely fashion. I also enjoyed the plants and bird chirps there after winter. The manager Greg is a really nice guy. He is always ready to accommodate your needs. I think I really had a wonderful stay over this place.

I lived in the Colony Club Apartments for about a year and a half during graduate school at Ohio State. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. The complex isn't brand new, but it's very well maintained and competitively priced. Management is very good and responsive, as is maintenance. If you're looking for a fairly priced unit close to campus, I definitely recommend checking their availability.

From our first walk through to our move in this past weekend, our experience with Colony Club has been amazing! The people here are so helpful and straightforward, they are definitely not the slumlords of OSU's off campus housing. The apartment we came to was affordable, in really good shape, and was sparkling clean when we moved in.The pool is clean and well kept, the gym is great for someone who isn't an avid bodybuilder (like myself), and the parking lot and location of dumpsters is perfect. The creek in the front with picnic tables and charcoal grills adds cute charm to the place.

I lived here for three and a half years when I was studying at OSU and will definitely recommend this place. The place is nice and quiet with awesome management and maintenance team. Never had a complaint about anything. All the formalities including the move out formalities were explained properly, which made the entire process smooth and easy. Also, the proximity of Kroger and COTA stops is definitely a plus.

I lived here for a little more than 3 years. While at OSU I lived in two other communities but Colony Club was undoubtedly the best experience. I liked the neighborhood, the floor plan, amenities, and the fact that it is close to Kroger and COTA bus stops. The staff (leasing and maintenance) is very friendly too. Highly recommended!

I lived here two years. Management is really professional and upfront with tenants. Very clean and quiet property. Great price for the location. Parking spots are always available. Maintenance was always done in a timely manner when needed. Best place I've rented from. I highly recommend it.

I should definitely give Full Marks to this property. It sounds like a personal story, but it is true.

I lived here for 3 years, and 2 other apartments in Columbus. Each has its own style, but this one is unique. If you prefer a peaceful, quiet, and relaxed environment, trust me. In 3 years, you don't need to worry about safety, convenience, etc. Central A/C is always decent(save you a lot of money for the bill), super close to Campus and Lennox Center(I LOVE that). Besides a huge Kroger nearby, Meister Bar is my favorite, try the cocktail. It is a good deal for the location and larger square feet.

Honestly, the reason why I say this, is not only its quality, I really enjoyed a memorable time in Columbus, OSU, and my wife feels the same. Since I moved out Ohio, that time becomes more precious to me. Much thanks to Greg, he is really friendly and helpful! If someone ask me for living near Campus, it is the answer.

The only little regret is they stop letting you lease month by month once one year lease ends. I understand this. It will be better if they reopen the access to Steelwood road, right? Oh, a new gym~

I have been living here 6 years and I would definitely give it 5 stars.

First, location, location, location. It is 4 minutes walk to Kroger and closest COTA bus station. It is near OSU west campus bus (CABs) station, and lennox center with Targets, Staple, movie theaters, and postal office and grandview heights which has tons of great restaurants.

Second, safety. It is quite a safe area and there is security camera around the buildings. I have not known any reports related to criminals around here.

Third, clean and non-smoking/no-pets apartment. Whenever you allow pets and smoking, there will be odor in your apartments. You can pay 5 bucks per month when you start a new lease to ask the owner to have brand new carpet for you, which is what I did.

Last, utility package and maintenance. Central air conditioning system is quite and efficient. I would not worry about my heat bill and set my apartment temperature at 80 degree during the coldest days, cozy and warm. If anything is broken, you just fill out a report card and there will be maintenance people fix it for you.

So overall, I would definitely recommend the apartment, especially for students of OSU.

Lived here for 3 years and it's been really a pleasant experience. Affordable price, excellent management (Greg and Phil), responsive maintenance, quiet neighborhood and convenient location. Wish I moved in earlier.

I had a great exp living here. Quiet, neat, well maintained. Had to wait several months for a place and then got it.

Decent place to live, with good facilities. The management is very friendly and helpful. Greg, the manager, was amazing. The location is nice, close to Grandview and Downtown.
