Ohio State University Adventure Recreation Center

I've been going to The Ohio State University since 2019 so, this is start of my 4th year here. In my opinion this is the best and most versatile gym on campus. If you have a c lot parking pass you can park right outside the gym, it has tons of free weights, areas to squat and deadlift, treadmills, 5 full court basketball courts, showers, lockers, and 2 full turf fields. I love this gym cause its clean, has everything I need, and often is not very busy since most people go to the RPAC. They also have an indoor climbing gym that looks amazing. Great gym and you should consider it!

Great climbing gym for students. Definitely a lead climbing focus, since the bouldering wall is a bit small and short. Professional and helpful staff. The workout equipment is minimal but gets the job done since it's rarely busy.

Really nice place last year I played in the special olympics bocce tournament with a friend and came in 1st place playing at the same place next Saturday june 24th for the special olympics summer games can not wait🙂. staff was nice as well.

I love going here to climb. They rotate every few months which side of the wall they Redo so you have plenty if time to work on any problems you have as projects. They have a decent bouldering wall as well. They really work hard to fit as much as they can into the limited space they have. They also added a liquid chalk dispenser that was awesome but then got rid of it. Either way this place is great.

Has a great indoor soccer field. It's not too busy with good collection for any kind of workout! Love that OSU has some extra facilities other than the main gym. Family hours let you invite families for free!

This gym is small, but due to its location away from the main campus, it is not often crowded. There's a variety of cardio workout machines and the loft area has additional ellipticals and TVs. It is also a very safe place because it is next to the police station.

Indoor soccer firlfi and basketball courts are also available.

Awesome place to go rock climbing on campus. As a student you get free rock climbing shoe and harness rentals for each visit - a perk that not all university climbing gyms offer. There are also backpacking/adventure gear rentals available for students.

It's usually a lot less crowded than the RPAC. The weight room is the perfect size. I've never had to wait for machines here. I prefer playing basketball here than other places on campus.

This campus climbing facility has a bouldering wall and multiple top-rope walls on the YDS rating system, updated frequently. Students and their guests can rent out necessary equipment. Check their website for belay clinics and other outdoor activity classes!

Really relaxing place for rock climbing. Lots of people to help you figure out what to do if you don't know what's going on! Also they have a gym for lifting, it's smaller than the RPAC but if you are looking for less chaos, then it's the way to go.

Great place to workout. They also have top notch basketball and soccer fields that are indoors. If those aren’t your thing, they also have an amazing rock climbing wall!

Superb rock climbing center. Belayers on the floor ensure that you can have fun even as a solo climber. They lend harness and shoes at no cost. The routes are harder than advertised but super fun!

I love this place. It has a gym, basketball courts, soccer, and rock climbing. On Saturdays and Sundays from 2-6 pm you can take 2 family members (and I guess friends) for free to the rock climbing part.

This place offers an excellently designed rock wall, full gym, and basketball/soccer courts. Great for a quick gym work out or playing games with a group.

Houses a fantastic climbing facility that's free for students! The staff is always really helpful and is good at making newcomers feel secure.

This is my favorite gym out of all OSU has to offer! It has more of a variety of sports and equipment without wondering around to find it.

The ohio state university excellent college. Ohio state university do so much different events for friends and family's to enjoy visiting Columbus ohio. Go bucks. OHIO

one of the best recreational facilities around. Has a gym basketball court, soccer and has nets for baseball practices.

Great place to go with convenient hours compared to the competitors. Reasonably priced too!
