Camp Perry Lodging and Conference Center

Excellent camp grounds!!! Cannot say enough about how well maintained and clean it is. Full hook-up on all 30 lots and a very clean and spacious shower house!

This is my first year staying in a hut (basically a big insulated shed with power, 3 windows four twin size beds and 4 lockers) and was very surprised on how nice they are. Do need to bring bedding and a pillow.

Would suggest (seeing other people's set ups) bring small fridge, small card type table and maybe a microwave I guess. Some people have coolers and small propane grills.

A true hidden Gem! There’s no where in Ohio you can get married on a PRIVATE BEACH, skip over to the hall for your reception, dance back to the beach for a bonfire, and crawl back to your cabin or hotel. The beach is beautiful, the hall was gorgeous & huge, the cabins were beyond my expectations, and the staff was so sweet and helpful. Our family and friends stayed for the weekend and we opted out of a traditional rehearsal dinner and had a huge potluck with everyone under the patio thanks to Erica for allowing us to get together in such a breathtaking spot the night before. I can’t even tell you how many people came up to us saying it was by far the best wedding they’ve ever been to. We even had family stay in the RV campsite on base which they said was absolutely lovely. It was by far the best time of our lives and we’re so sad it flew by in the blink of an eye. Word of advice, stay and extra day. It would’ve been the cherry on top to have one more day to just chill and soak in all the hard work of wedding planning. Thank you Erica and staff, y’all were extremely accommodating and sweet! We appreciate you all so much.

Beautiful private beach! We've been staying here for years & just love it! Easy to get to Put-in-Bay & Wildlife Safari.

For lovers of Military history and firearms competition, this place is fantastic.

Even if none of those are appealing, the beachhouses are fantastic.

The old Military pier is a feature that no other places can replicate and the sunrise and sunset views across Lake Erie are worth the price of admission.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom cottage. It was very clean and nice. Very quiet with Lake Erie view. There is also a pier you can walk. Everything you need is there. Pots pans silverware etc. However there is no dishwasher.

A very quaint location that provides a variety of lodging. CPL is actually located on an Ohio National Guard base. Lodging options are hotel, cottages, base huts, tents, and RV spaces. We rented an RV space.

It's a nice little gem location right on Lake Erie. Customer service is wonderful. Most weekends some type of event is occurring but it does not interfere with being able to have R&R. Big box stores are available in adjacent cities about 20 minutes away.

We made out first stop for 2 weeks then took a trip west, and came back for another 2 weeks. it's neat place.

Great place to camp. Full hookups and all spots were paved. Private beach which way raked. Many roads to bike on with little to no traffic. Not much for kids to do. But a great base of operations to start the day at.

Perfect place for veterans. Great pricing.

However,

Idk how this place gets funded... meaning idk if it state or federal. The beach front is literally piled with 2 to 3 feet of seagull and geese feces. So, idk how they get money but the beach needs maintained and raked very badly. The pier bridge has a lot of vegetation... idk who cuts and tends that but... it needs worked on.

Everything else was perfect. Beats any hotel in the area. Easily will return here. Just wish they maintained the beach area better.

The RV Park at Camp Perry is awesome! It's clean and well maintained with large sites. Enough trees for shade but doesn't block satellite access. It's on Lake Erie with a private beach a short walk away. They have cabins if you don't have an RV. The ferry to South Bass Island and Put-in-Bay is located in nearby Port Clinton. Cedar Point is about 40 minutes away. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

We love Cp Perry. It is a National Guard Camp with beautiful Lake Erie right across the street. Spacious camp sites with full hook ups. The cost to stay is reasonable and the staff is very helpful and friendly. We highly recommend and will be back.

Great location for fishing Western Basin Lake Erie.

Great location on the lake. Most recent visit was for a banquet. My wife and I had our wadding reception at this venue! Loved it!

Good location. Decor a bit outdated but still nice. Pricing doesn’t match the accommodations.

We stayed in a cottage and absolutely loved it. The cottage was so nice and had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook. Very clean also. We could see the lake from our front porch. Definitely will be coming back.

We went to the air gun target range. Affordable & they will rent you a weapon if you need one. This is one of two state of the art facilities of its kind in the country open to the public

Upside: Friendly staff, quick service, variety of lodging options, conference room rentals.
Downside: Wish the RV park accommodated a few more campers.

Cottage was clean and updated. Felt like home. Quiet and relaxing. Close to its own private beach. Good view of Lake Erie.
