Their burgers are great! Love coming back for the Hawaiian burger. The only place that caters my pineapple craving in a burger! It's not just the burgers but the fish and chips are awesome! The staff members are very accommodating. And definitely coming back again!

Walking from UC Davis, I’m hungry and needed coffee. Walked by and decided to take a chance on this little place. Thankful I did. Fish and chips are soooo good! They have malt vinegar. The only thing that would make them better is thick fries like you get in England

Comfortable and small place but they have very very yummy burgers and fries for good price. Teriyaki was definitely very well cooked and sauce was so delicious. Good for family and friends. I would come again.

I stopped by for lunch today and really enjoyed it. I had 1 peice of Pollock with 4 Fried Oysters. Both were delicious and I've eaten a lot of fish and chips over the years. The breading on the fish was crisp and flavorful without being too oily. The oysters were large and perfectly prepared. It was a bargin at around nine dollars. My adult son's Cal. burger was just okay, he preferred my meal over his.

There were a lot of interesting and very affordable options on the menu. The chicken strips with fries are a particularly great bargin. The staff was friendly and the resturant was clean. I will be back.

A week later I stopped back by and split three appetizers with my son. Among them was an order of three deep fried scallops. They were moist and very fresh, the best that I have ever had.

Update 01/08/19:
I have since been back to Stockton Grill 4 more times. The fried seafood remains my favorite but the burger patties are not. I am pretty certain that they are prefrozed and are lacking in juiciness and flavor. The seasoned fries are great as are the shakes. BTW, no reservations are required or even excepted. This is a smallish, casual grill.

really really really good food, the portions are excellent the facility is clean neat and very cute I come here at least once a week... Love it!

Absolutely amazing burgers, I've had quite a few burgers from all over the states and I gotta say the bacon cheeseburger I got here was by far the best. The patty was perfectly cooked and incredibly juicy, the lettuce and pickles were really fresh and crisp. And the bacon was perfectly crispy and flavorful. Would Absolutely recommend this spot for an amazing burger and fries

While working in Sacramento I stumbled upon this place when looking for lunch. Wasn't expecting much. They have a sign that says fish and chips, which I love, but rarely get quality food. Nice large Cod fillets battered just right and cooked to perfection. Had trouble eating it all, they were so big( I managed). They give you a large squeeze bottle of tartar sauce(I like lots of it) and they have malt vinegar! Food came quickly. Fries were ok. Coleslaw was delicious, but had a little too much mayo. Clean interior and open. If you like fish and chips, check out this place, you won't be sorry! I heard the burgers were awesome too, next time. Five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ just for the fish and chips alone.

Wow, this place looks like a little hole in the wall. The food was amazing. I had the 2 piece of fish and fries. Hubs had 1 piece of fish and 4 prawns. First time I've had more fish than fires. The fish was so big that I could only eat 1 1/2 pieces of my fish. It was all hot down to the last bite. We will be back for sure.

Surprisingly very good. The fish and chips are amazing. So fresh and Flaky tasting. We have gone there for lunch every time in the area since trying it cancel. We haven't given any of the other items a try yet but they also have teriyaki chicken which looks delicious

Its a nice place and food is very good. I bought 3 piece fish and chips. The fish was of good size and the potions was really good. I had to share it with my mum and husband to finish it off. I for sure recommend all my family and friends. Great place

The most delicious fish and chips I've had since living in Northern Germany decades ago. The fish is super fresh, with a choice of cod, catfish, or pollack. My fave? The cod. Wow, it's good. Battered and fried while you wait. The burgers are huge and yummy, too.This shop is small and very clean, and located just a few blocks from UC Davis Med Center. Bravo!!

Small place, but large taste! Have eaten here a few times. The burgers are great, and the fish & chips very good. The "chips" are just fries, but cooked just like I like them. Top off your meal with an old fashioned shake.

Hey this place is my favorite right now! You can get a piece of cod and chips and its big enough for me, but you could always get another piece because its really so cheap to eat here and the food is quality. The chips dont get soggy even after i drive home to eat it!!! Service is great too, i see the same lady almost everytime who is so nice. She must like her job. I will be here often

My first visit there was good, looking forward to trying again hopefully with more time.

The chicken burgers are great. Beef burgers are pretty good. Strawberry shakes are made with real strawberries. Calamari strips appeared to be processed.

Overall though though the food is really good for the prices.

Parking lot is small, so be prepared for that.

This little restaurant has amazing food for a good price. The burger patties and fries are perfect, patties are juicy and flavorful, fries are crisp on the outside while soft and moist on the inside. The fish follows the same great attention to quality and flavor. A must for burger/fish and chips aficionados.

I have enjoyed my previous visits here the food is good and the service is great. I have driven past this place for a few years and stopped in a few months ago and have been coming back. The fish and burgers are great. I would recommend.

My wife and I go go UC MED for appointments twice a week. We have made it a ritual to stop on the way home to get the two pieces of Cod. Recently I have added their hamburger to my purchases. They really use high quality fish and beef for the items on the menu. It can really get busy at lunch time . . Get there before twelve
