Nice safeway lots of security but it's nice when your out strolling around just bought couple of things I didn't need but was having fun with hubby

Oh what can I say about my absolute favorite grocery store that hasn't already been said. Yes the prices are at times hiked higher than other places but the consistent quality they continue to have is so worth every penny. I started doing online delivery orders and it has made my life so convenient. They are worth every shopping visit regardless of whether it's a quick trip for essentials or a months worth of groceries. If you need it, they have it. Thanks Safeway, you guys are awesome.

I have never been in a Safeway I didn't love. It's the staff that influence your impression of a business and the high standard of customer service I experience at Safeway, regardless of the location, makes it one of my favorite grocery stores. After downloading their app and signing up for a free Safeway rewards account I never miss sales on the items I buy frequently and shopping trips have never been simpler. Customized shopping lists with real time inventory and isle location, nearby location suggestions for items with low or no inventory and extra rewards for long standing customers by location are just a few of my favorite in app features. Most Safeway locations are open by 6am and close after 10pm so shopping at your convenience is no problem. Visit the bakery and you are promised to find something different at each location making it difficult to pick your favorite store. Find more savings with weekly $5 deals throughout the store, a clearance section containing out of season items, products needing fast sale due to expiration, discontinued distribution, or new packaging or labels, and a day old bakery rack. No matter if you choose in-store shopping, curbside pick-up or delivery, you are guaranteed to receive the best experience when you choose Safeway.

Sacramento's largest Safeway, this location offers a selection that most others cannot. It's located near a lot of other shops in the R Street Market and Ice Blocks area, making it supremely convenient if you're in a rush. Many of the parking spots have been converted to employee-only, so good luck finding a spot during peak times.

This is one of my favorite Safeway locations. I came in to pick up a cake and few other items to appease my occasional sweet tooth. I was in and out of the store in no time.
This store is always pretty clean and well stocked. The employees are pleasant and eager to assist you with your needs.

Long gone are the days of the open 24 hrs grocery store, At least this Safeway is open till 2am, thank you Safeway employees for all that you guys do for your customers !

I had a very good experience. I had some questions for the associate in the meat department, he was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions.

This Safeway is my go-to for food, as well as various household cleaning, cosmetic, and pharmacy items.

Anyone who knows Midtown Sacramento knows some of the daily challenges here logistically. I feel that this Safeway handles the challenges quite well, while still making a good shopping experience for customers.

I think very highly of the staff - Extremely courteous, respectful, and friendly team. Again, they have a lot to manage, and they do it consistently well.

Any issues that I have had over my six years of experience with this as my primary store I attribute to the corporate side of things. For instance, I feel for the pharmacy personnel as they always seem stretched and under-staffed.

Anyway - I recommend this Safeway. I feel that they deserve support and patronage for the services that they provide.

Short lines, self check out, friendly staff. This Safeway has two Redbox’s. If you go towards the back near the veggies and fruits they have a clearance section. A lot of great deals!

The other day, I was doing some shopping. Somehow I lost my wallet. I gave the staff my name and phone number.
I believe it was Natasha who later found it. Thank you. Unfortunately, the cash was missing.
The next day Natasha recognize me while I was checking out and she told me that they later found my cash. Wow! I’m impressed.

There were other staff members in play that help me. Forgive me, I don’t know their names. Just know that I’m grateful to you guys. Again thank you.

Regardless the store is always decently stocked, clean, and friendly.

They carry a decent selection of Straus pints!

Late night shopping trips, have a sweet tooth? This is the place love this store the management is off the hook great! The security was increased, yes. And the flashing light with the medicine voice that threatens perfectly nice patrons that he's caught you on camera when you're taking too long to load your groceries can be a bit off putting but it seems it is the sign of the times. and Safeway at 19th Street is doing everything to make its patrons secure. I go grocery shopping at 1:00 in the morning when I get off work and I am 100% as safe as I am when I'm there at 1:00 in the afternoon.
Management of Safeway, she's amazing. Only because I see her working so hard.
Shame on me for not knowing her, but I believe she is the front end manager. I may not know her name but I see her constantly she's always stocking shelves and ready and willing to help the cashiers also make it the reason why I go back to the store on 19th Street and drive out of my way to go. Cramped parking during the busy times of the day so don't be in a hurry

What can I say except, since we're neighbors let's be friends! It is my Local store. Open at 5 am which works for me to avoid the unhoused riff raff and zombies lurking in the parking lot many mornings... the a.m. store staff are friendly and cordial, and seem not to care that I shop so early especially since I bring and bag my own purchases.

I shop here all the time, super close to my apartment and the staff is always very friendly!

Safeway member savings created the A1 experience for us Texas shoppers!
CA gas prices were a shock to us HOWEVVA the liquor prices made up for it & beat Texas per bottle costs hands down!!!!

Professional beggars everywhere.very difficult to avoid.Not homeless folks,I'm talking about professional bums,grifters,and thief's.Sooner or later.They will ruin your shopping experience at this store location.Update: this problem is being dealt with,as I just witnessed one of Safeways security detail pursue a shoplifter into the parking lot.Mased him then shoved the man to the ground.Did not detain but verbally warned man to leave the property.Its amazing how desperate folks are getting and the risks being taken over groceries its.very sad..

Didn’t even know this Safeway was here. Was driving by and stopped by. Nice parking lot area, it’s a pretty large location. It’s super nice inside and bright. It also has a Starbucks inside, the store in general was clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Unfortunately they didn’t have what I was looking for but overall a nice Safeway.

Huge store, really great service. When I have business in this part of town I stop here.
