Thai Palace

The most delicious, crispiest dumplings I’ve EVER had. I tried the lychee iced tea, mouth watering. The sweetness of the tea complimented the saltiness of the dumplings so well. This was actually my first time ever trying tom yum fried rice, & I really did enjoy it. The food was also prepared quickly, the interior was astounding to say the least, overall I enjoyed my visit here. Highly recommend.

I went here for the first time on a recommendation. I was wary as I have had incredible food while traveling and am often disappointed by Thai restaurants in the USA. I was NOT dissapointed by the food here.

The quality was incredible and the flavor was very authentic. The ingredients were fresh. The meat and tofu were perfectly cooked. The sauces were delicious. The soup (no picture) was also wonderful. All the food took me right back to my travels. I was quite impressed and will happily eat here again.

As a bonus, the woman who took my order on the phone was wonderful. She gave ordering advice when asked and anticipated other questions then gave great information unprompted. I was also kindly given a free drink when I arrived to pickup and pay.

My only critique is regarding the lack of utensils provided/offered for our takeout order. We were not going home to eat so it was a problem. Fortunately we were still in the lot so I ran back in and requested them. It's understandable to not automatically provide them to save money but they weren't offered either. Not a huge deal overall. Just be sure to check your bag for utensils before you leave if you will be needing them.

Tomkha was best I have had in years. Lemon Chicken was delicious, and Thai Ice Tea and Coffee were just right.

We live nearby and often get drunken noodles and curry for takeout, although all dishes we’ve had here have been flavorful and great. The portions are generous and the quality is consistent. We’re so happy Thai Palace is in our neighborhood!

Over the years, the food and service here has always been top notch. My favorites include everything on the menu, but the duck curry will always have a special place in my heart! Authentic thai food in a wonderful place. I highly recommend.

I brought 12 people for dinner. The food was all delicious. My guests were delighted. Tiki, the waitress was gracious and efficient. Top place for good food, easy parking, and quiet ambiance. People can hear each other talk.

Great food. Coconut soup is excellent. Drunken noodles are top notch. Already ate half the soup before the pic. This place smells fantastic.

Great food, was in town from AZ visiting some friends. The first night we wanted to go out and no dine in... They seated us on the patio, and had a wonderful evening. Going way out there I had the rib eye steak and it hit all the right notes. My wife had the chicken coconut soup and it was the best we have had. The food was so good 2 nights later we stopped in for quick takeout back to the hotel. One again the food hit all the right notes. If we lived around Sacramento we would make this a regular stop. FYI the service was also amazing and the patio with the heaters made for a memorable time.

I always appreciate the service and atmosphere of Thai Palace. It's one of my favorite Thai restaurants and one of the best I have ate at in Sacramento.

I have been coming to this restaurant for many years and plan to keep coming back! The staff are very friendly and attentive and the food is fabulous! My favorite dishes are the Red Curry with Calamari, Pad Kee Mao with Chicken, Tom Yum soup and Pad Thai! I also really love their Thai Iced Tea as well!

They have the best pad Thai in the city.

Excellent food and helpful service. I can’t wait to order from Thai Palace again. The drunken noodles were perhaps the best I’ve tasted. But the real show-stopper was the Pumpkin Red Curry. I would highly recommend it.

Very delicious Thai dishes! Everything is tasty and flavored to perfection. My favorites are Spicy Beef Salad, Tom Yum soup, and the Pumpkin Curry. I have never been disappointed when I order from them. The staff are always friendly.

My husband and I love the food there. The pra ram chicken with peanut sauce is so good. And they give you lots of the sauce. The only request that I have, is take the stems off the spinach leaves. They are chewy and a bit cumbersome to eat.

Staff are the best. Truly want u to have that experience u wish for by not cooking yourself but instead spending more money. One of us who can't take spicy at all ordered spicy curry and they just whisked it away and brought out another. They didn't know it was her birthday either. Made me look good by picking this place. F****** awesome.

Honestly, it’s one of my favorite restaurants. The atmosphere is soothing and relaxing always making me and my family feel welcome to stay and eat there and the food is always made as if it was homemade and prepared authentically. Every visit me and my family can’t help but mention how delicious the food is, I definitely recommend the yellow curry, cashew nut chicken, and the beef salad.

Tucked away on J Street, this excellent Thai restaurant is a wonderful find, beautifully decorated with wonderful servers. The food is delicious and served quickly. The menu offers a large range of choices. Curry and spicy dishes feature great heat, but with full flavors of the other ingredients. Milder dishes also present a full palate of taste. Thai iced tea is a favorite, sweet with a delicate spice. I recommend stopping here for lunch, dinner, or a meal to go.

Ordered chicken wing appetizers. The Bomb!! If you dont order the chicken wings, you will truly miss out on the tastiest treat of all.
If you like calamari, you'll love the fried calamari. It was perfection. The vegetarian Spring rolls were good, but the dipping sauce was even better. Now for the main courses. As I've tried, many different Thai restaurants (my favorite), I can rate the Drunken/Spices Noodles a solid 8.5 - 9.0. The pad Thai would also fall on the high end of the tasty scale. Everyone's taste buds are different. Some salty, sweet & hot. Not a lot of heat in the dishes that came to the table, but I didn't ask for heat. Didn't order any salty, but the sweetness was special in the intricate flavors of these dishes. I will return to try a different dish, but gotta have those wings over & over.
