Firehouse Tavern

Firehouse Tavern is a great little spot near the Old Sunbury Courthouse. They have a great variety of menu items from gyros, pulled pork, salads and much more. Friendly staff, cool vibe and great music. Prices are reasonable. Free street parking available. We all enjoyed our meals and hope to return to try something new.

Awesome little place tucked in downtown Sunbury Ohio. Wife and I have a tournament tradition to eat wings and have a beer before we play pickleball.

This place did NOT disappoint. Wings were very tasty and they have a great selection of sauces. Couldn't get proper pics because they looked so good I had to dive in! Super crispy, properly sauced, and good size.

Grilled chicken salad was full of mixed greens, red onion, bacon and cheese with your choice of dressing. Portions are great but the environment is even better.

We will be going back for sure!

The burgers were juicy and perfectly cooked and the pork nachos were packed with generous portions and flavor. The blazing chipotle wings offered the perfect kick for those seeking a sweet and spicy mix. The bartenders elevated the experience with their impressive skills and friendly demeanor. We love coming in for Singo on Mondays and trivia on Wednesdays. A must-visit for anyone craving great food and a lively atmosphere!

Shauna was an amazing waitress. We sat outside due to dinning room busy and she continued to run back and forth to make sure our table was taking care of. Our food was amazing too. We will be back soon.

I was in the area and decided to stop in and try this place. I’m so glad I did, the food and atmosphere was amazing. Working the bar was Katie. She was wonderful. She had a great attitude and an amazing personality that made the experience great. I can’t wait to come back and try more of the food and drinks!

First time trying this place… it did not disappoint! Our bartender, Shauna, was great. She made our experience that much better with her fun, outgoing personality. We will be back!

We were sat as soon as we walked in (Friday for lunch), and I ordered kaboski and perogies, which is served with sauerkraut and sour cream, and it was delicious. I saw some people order their famous half pound burgers, and they look amazing as well. The atmosphere felt a little crowed, but then again, it was a small sports bar. They seem to be short staffed, but our table still got plenty of attention. Would suggest here for anyone who's hungry!

Stopped in for lunch and let me tell you!! Was greeted by the sweetest smile behind the bar, she told me to sit wherever I’d like! So naturally I sat at the bar so I could could enjoy her smile some more. Told me her name was Breona and got me a nice cold beer! I asked what she would suggest to eat and she turned me on to the boneless wings with garlic Parmesan and honey mustard sauce mixed and WOW! Little bit of ranch on the side and I was in heaven. Also had the waffle fries with beer cheese (highly recommend.)

Only had 30 minutes for my lunch but I ended up spending an hour and a half there just because the conversation with Breona was so great! If she didn’t have a smoking hot husband and beautiful family I would’ve definitely asked for her number!

Recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing food and great people. You won’t be disappointed! And hopefully you’re as lucky as I am to be greeted and served by Bre!

Servers are very polite and kind. Food was great and didn’t have to wait long. Theme and place itself was clean and welcoming! Highly recommend!

This place is amazing, and they have the hottest bartender ever, Katie Honeycutt, and boy oh boy is she DEFINITELY CUTT FROM HONEY. I couldn’t decide if it was the food making me drool or HER! She’s completely amazing, she’s def a site to see and the service she provides is even BETTER! Stop by and give this place and her the support they deserve!

All of the food that we had was delicious. The steak that I ordered was cooked to perfection. It was tender and seasoned perfectly.

Passing through Sunbury and decided to stop and try it out. Very cozy inside with Fire Fighter and military memorabilia decor. Great draft beer menu and looked like the bar was well stocked for cocktails as well. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Menu looked great with wide variety to choose from. We just had the Nachos and added the chilli and a few draft beers to watch the football game. Nachos were very good. Will definitely be back when passing through Sunbury.

Generally they’re hitting on all cylinders! Tonight service stArting out slow. Young man stepped up. I still love the bar and food!

Don’t go to this place. Service is the worst I’ve been involved with. Everyone in the tavern got up and left. No one came to our table and our server could not get 2 drafts from the bar. We put our order in and our server never came back. They are the worst
