St. Mary of Mercy Church - Divine Mercy Parish

It is a great Parish. We have to support our parish. I am devoted to the Devine Mercy.

I'm really hoping they reopen the downstairs again, for worship
Prayer groups
Peer mentors therapy,
Na meeting and AA meetings
Volunteer opportunities , resourcing and things,
Studying,
doing devotionals,
I'm also interested in volunteer opportunities
And very much about learning more!

This photo is from the blvd of the allies side. This church is one of the best church's in the burgh. They pass out food to the homeless everyday for lunch. I've stood in the lunch line before and checked out the bag lunches. They do a great job. In the burgh we simply call this church the red door church. They serve about 75 to 100 ppl lunch everyday. They truly are doing gods work behind them red bricks.

Wonderful church and Parish- full of energy and love

Just the mere fact that Christian Roman Catholics can attend the Catholic Mass 7 days a week in the very heart of the Pittsburgh Golden Triangle in downtown Pittsburgh is a blessing in itself. The Church has avoided all the pitfalls of being relocated or demolished in the name of civic progress. It's here to stay and thankfully so. Imagine the various monolithic architecture that surrounds this church; proof positive that the worshipping community will always have access to and be able to congregate at this location. For travelers visiting the City of Pittsburgh and locals alike, this Parish Worship site provides for fulfillment of the attendees desires to worship. In the heart of the "Steel City" it beckons to the faithful who know that you will always have an "open door". Hope to see you there someday. May God Bless You.

A calm and peaceful place to pray and reflect.

This is a great charitable church. They offer a free bag lunch Mon thru Sat and lovely sit-down, hot meals for Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter.. . They also often have free clothes, coats and other donations.
Their volunteers are always helpful and smiling.

Very convenient, a block from my shop , i go there at lunch break, nothing beats receiving the Holy Eucharist, and listening to homily as often as possible, and of course singing praises of worship and thanksgiving is an added plus and seeing your friends and love ones !!!

Check out Fr. FREEDY's homilies. FABULOUS!!! Will touch you right where you need help and hope. And he's funny, too! You will get hooked on attending Mass!! Check it out! Usually there Wed. or Thurs. at noon. A gifted and rare man and priest.

Love seeing the poor people getting lunches and clothes from the Church

Beautiful old, downtown church. Heard a phenomenal sermon on the Feast of the Assumption. (And they have traditional confessionals!)

Love the opportunity to watch noon mass and adoration on TV. The young lady who sings sounds like an angel!

Historic church in the heart of Pittsburgh with a dedicated priest, Father Bob. Great experience to attend mass there.

Great "Red Door" service. Ms. Hedi is a very extremely wonderful 👏 Godly lady.

Excellent opportunities in the workday for Mass and Reconciliation. Very happy to have found this place!
