Smithfield News has been under new management for a while. They have really cleaned the place up and their selection is astounding. The Deli serves fresh hot food all day long.

Quite convenient place for quick snack or munchies when I was going to school at The Art Institute in downtown Pittsburgh. It was 1.5 blocks away. This store has everything from pre-packaged fresh fruit (in single serving or bigger trays to pieces of fruit) & handmade hoagies & bags of $1 candy & slushies- drinks & some frozen microwavable foods too. Honestly this place has a little bit of everything

Smithfield News is a Pittsburgh classic. One of the few 24/7 places anywhere. Local, downtown feel. Owners and staff are good people. I'm a regular there, and you should be too. Support locally owned businesses!

Nice people, lots of selection. They are always cleaning in there, like every day I see someone mopping the floors and wiping counters down.

Huge variety of convenience store related things plus they have a huge menu of delicious made to order hot food from the little kitchen inside.

It is a nice place to buy things you get pretzels cheese curls and other chips for ,2 for a dollar and the workers there are nice

Love the selection of groceries they have and prices are decent.

Smithville news been there since I was a kid and it's still there that's how good they are.

This place is dependable and wonderful. I am thankful for Smithfield News

Never closed if you are downtown gotta check it out.
