Good food, friendly staff, large portions and good specials. The only downside is it can be very noisy. The acoustics since the rebuild are poor.

Good food & great atmosphere... Think they need to hire more staff as service was extremely slow & somewhat unorganized as it was busy & clearly staff was overwhelmed.

Really nice omelettes, and the menu is pretty good, the coffee could be improved ...a lot. But the service is awesome!

Permanent local who quickly learned from other locals this location appreciates their clients. Great daily luncheon special as well as anything on the menu. Ice cream sundaes that make u forget lunch. Go where the locals go.

This wonderful eatery in downtown Lake Placid is a favorite amongst locals and tourists. They are only open for breakfast and lunch and have terrific daily specials in addition to a wide variety of menu options. The portions are generous, the food is always out quickly and the service is always terrific and friendly. I would give them 10 stars if I could

Always a breakfast winner. Another party of five all with different orders and all very pleased. Eggs cooked exactly to order, great specials, exemplary service, and a comfortable atmosphere make it my go to again in Lake Placid for breakfast. They only take cash but prices are very reasonable. Was there this past weekend when visiting the area and it was our first time visiting this place. Breakfast was great. We ordered the Redneck Benedict and the 3 Egg Meat Lovers Omelette. Very good size on the portion on these two plates. Food came in a timely manner and the service was great. Pricing is very fair for what you get. Place is super clean. We will be back the next time we are back in the area. Recommended!

I stumbled up on this little jewel while I was out in I’ll Lake Placid area. This little restaurant has incredible food and offers that small town feeling. I had breakfast and was very satisfied with both the food and service I received here at the Main Street America eatery. I'll Absolutely be back

This place never disappoints. We've come probably each year around the new year when we visit family and everything is great. Hubby orders a cheeseburger omelet. A special he had at some point that he swears he'll never order anything else again if they'll keep making it. It was flopping off the plate it was so big. Great friendly people and really great food. Come on over, ya hear??

This is a wonderful neighborhood restaurant! You're always greeted with a smile and the place is so clean. Plenty of seating. The food is delicious with ample servings and reasonable prices. Highly recommend !

Great spot in downtown Lake Placid. Good food service. We chose to sit at the bar due to Sunday brunch crowds and 20 minute wait. Food is prepared correctly and it’s my favorite- southern style and a nice variety on the menu to please most any palate

Excellent after church brunch. Delicious food served quickly, which I liked because I was quite hungry. Courteous staff and family friendly atmosphere.

Went on a Sunday morning during season and the place was packed. An experienced, hard working staff had us seated within a few minutes. We expected a delay in getting our breakfast but it was out very quickly and extremely good. Excellent staff and service and equally great food.
