I could not be more pleased with the amount of work Angela Dougan did for us when buying our first home. Our exhaustive multi year home search finally came to an end this October when we put in an offer on the home we had been looking for. We went low on our offer because the home had been listed for over 100 days and after some back and forth counter offering we agreed to a price. Angela wasted no time getting companies lined up for our inspections, I believe we had almost all of them done within a week or so! She handled pretty much everything, from the paperwork to the calls needed to be placed. It made everything hassle free for us knowing she was working so hard to get us to the finish line. As the process continued further we started facing issues with the seller's realtor. She would often not respond to Angela’s requests for days or even at all. A few times when we needed access to the property for inspectors the seller’s realtor would just leave us hanging until the last minute. A problem with the well popped up in an inspection, so we had arranged for the well company to go back out and provide a quote for a remedy. The seller's realtor, without saying anything to us, called and canceled the appointment. She claimed that the well was fine. We ended up having to extend escrow a few times, which I personally believe was because of the response time of the sellers realtor. As I mentioned, Angela is the type of realtor that gets things done, she makes it happen, she keeps you updated and she doesn’t waste time. It was extremely frustrating to have someone on the other end who was supposed to be working together with everyone be so lackluster. The seller's realtor often would just skip speaking to Angela and would go straight to our loan officer. She made it very clear she had a problem with us and couldn’t care less if she worked with us or not. Even through this, Angela still pushed through for us. When you imagine buying your first home, you think it’s going to be such an exciting and fun experience. Unfortunately for us, the seller's realtor made it an awful one. She made things so stressful for everyone and went as far as calling us petty for some of the items we requested to be repaired. I’m so thankful we had Angela on our side to get us through it. Without her knowledge, perseverance and expertise that other realtor would have driven us away from the deal. There were multiple occasions where we questioned backing out because of the realtor, but thanks to Angela keeping us on track and looking past the finish line, we finally closed on the home. If you want a realtor that will get things done, knows her stuff, lives up to her word and is as kind as can be you need to work with Angela. I can't recommend her enough, she will not disappoint her buyers or sellers.

Real sloppy would be putting it kindly of this simple residential land purchase, after negotiating on and agreeing on sales price with doc u signs and counter offers completed the agents Mike Zohrab and Joanne Davis call and tell me the seller made a mistake on the asking price of property thats been listed by them for several months,
have to go legal now to en force contract.
