Woww. Loved this place. Tried it for the first time after seeing all the great reviews and it didn’t disappoint us at all. Everything we ordered was piping hot and delicious. We started with Bombay samosas, which had 6 pieces. It was hot, crispy and delicious. For the main course we got the spicy veggie tikka masala and Garlic basil naan both the dishes were just perfect.

Amit was great! Lots of vegan dishes and all really tasty. They have Punjabi and Nisan food. My husband got a lentil soup and it was delicious ! Tasted so fresh!

Yum. We ordered the Butter Chicken Thali and it was perfect for two of us. Delicious, just the right serving size for two, and reasonably priced. Comfortable restaurant, and the English speaking woman who served us was very nice.

Friendly service, beautiful atmosphere, clean bathroom and delicious food. Everything was made fresh and piping hot! I highly recommend ordering the Masala chai, mango Lassi & Ras Malai!

I went for the first time with a friend the other day. I hadn’t had Indian food in so long and was super hyped. We got a couple of different things but I got the veggie platter which had a bit of everything. It was so good!! The service was amazing too. Gopi was our server and he was so sweet and attentive! Will definitely be back soon and I highly recommend it!

Quite busy at lunch time but flowed well. Excellent food, perfect selection. We decided to try Bombay because of the great reviews and they were spot on. Lovely place and people. Service was exceptional.

We ordered Palak saag and garlic basil naan. It was yum and would recommend to others. It is open till 11 at night.

Great food and great service. This is an upscale but not too expensive restaurant. The staff cares about the food and the service. With a party of 8 we got 6 different dishes and everyone was very happy. They actually give you the spice when you ask for it, and the flavor of everything was incredible. Clear your sinuses, cure what ails you, come in and enjoy a classy, tasty meal, and you’ll end up with more food than you paid for. Very happy with this experience.

Since moving to Sacramento I've eaten at a few Indian food restaurants, Bombay Bar and Grill is hands down the best I've tried. It's possibly the best food I've tried in Sacramento, period. Bombay is not afraid of flavor, and knows how to appropriately season their food. I really cannot recommend this place enough, and I can't wait to go back and try more off their menu.
We knew we were in for an amazing meal when our appetizer arrived.. We started with the appetizer sampler which came with two different kinds of samosas and another item I don't remember the name of.... it was delicious. I ordered the Dal soup (amazing), lamn kabob and Kitchen Special, which was a rack of lamb with a spinach sauce.... the flavor in the dishes was outstanding. I can't praise this place enough, just make sure you visit this place if you're in Sacramento, you'll thank me.

Bombay is easily one of our favorite spots in Sacramento. Incredible food, and service to match! We loved the suggestions by our server and always order the goat cheese nan as a personal favorite.

Coming from the Bay Area, we have our fair share of Indian cuisine, and I found myself craving some today when I found Bombay Bar & Grill. Located in Midtown, this restaurant boasts a fair variety of Indian dishes, including my personal favorite chicken tikki masala. After selecting your dish, you'll be asked to choose a spice level- mild, medium, or hot. The majority of their dishes come with basmati rice; however, if you want any naan or other sides those will come with an extra charge.

I walked in to order around noontime (and you guessed it- I order their chicken tikki masala, mild), and after ordering they informed me that my food would be ready in 15 minutes- not bad. I found the food very flavorful and not overly spicy, which is a plus for me. As a side note, the portions are quite large! After finishing the rice my dish came with, I had almost half of the curry left over (woohoo leftovers).

I'm also a huge fan of paneer so I also decided to sample their paneer pakoras. Personally, I've never tried paneer in this sort of preparation, but I really enjoyed it! It'll definitely be one of my go-to appetizers now!

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and would definitely recommend this place to anyone seeking some Indian food in the Midtown area!

Been coming here for years and it's always consistent. I don't go anywhere else for Indian food. Gopi is the best server. He always has great energy and service. The food is 10/10 everytime. Thanks for the consistency and great ambiance!

Cash only. But there's an atm across the street. I loved the fresh chopped garlic on top. I would literally come back just for that. Its so hard to find good garlic fries and this was like garlic on pizza. Wow. Nice old wall art. Pretty clean. And they had beer.

I'm sad to have relocated from the Sacramento area specifically because of this restaurant. Whether you order dine in, pick up, or (gotta emphasize this because it's good to know) DELIVERY, you will receive delicious AND quality meals. Make sure to tip this place, they deserve it!

Some of the best tasting Indian food I’ve ever had! Highly recommend the Fish Pakora and their Thali. Generous portions and service was amazing. Can’t wait to come back

I came here with my niece for lunch...omg the food is so good..wow

They have indoor and outdoor seating. The waitress was so nice and helpful. She brought us water right away..which I really appreciated since it was over 100 outside.

We browsed the menu and I had a few questions...the waitress was so patient and wonderful...

We ordered garlic naan 2.95 for 2 large pieces...chicken Tikka Masala from the lunch menu it was 10.95 and chicken makhani for 12.95 which included a large bowl of basmati rice.

The garlic naan was so fresh and soft...just the smell of garlic had my mouth watering...it was just sensational...

The Tikka masala was spicy and we got the mild. It had so much flavor and couple that with the naan...wow

I wanted to order something different..well that's what I thought when I ordered the chicken makhani...the waitress after I started eating it said that was the Indian name for butter chicken...I was laughing so hard...I thought I was being fancy...lol

The flavor of that butter chicken was absolutely wonderful...it was the best butter chicken I have ever eaten...I was eating my bites so slow because I just wanted to keep it in my mouth...it was so good.

If your looking for great Indian food...this place is awesome...the staff is so friendly...and the place is clean. I highly recommend this place for sure.

I took my parents and niece out for brunch. 1st time we came here. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed it. The price was reasonable as well. I guess we found a new family favorite restaurant.

Visited this spot back in December of 2023 and when I was passing through town again this Spring, I had to make a stop and I brought a friend with me. We were both very very satisfied!
This place is now in our list of food spots that we keep!

Fantastic food, varied from the traditional American Indian offerings. Love the decor, clean restrooms, great service - what more could you ask for in a restaurant?

Btw - order their mango lassi. It’s the best I’ve had in the states so far!
