This is one of those iconic places to visit for movie fans and nature lovers alike. Several famous movies were filmed here, and there are signs detailing the locations. The views are spectacular, and there are plenty of trails of varying levels. I highly recommend visiting.

Cannon Beach was gorgeous. Downright stunning. The sunsets here are immaculate. There’s plenty of space to walk and take in the views. Parking can be a little tricky but once you get to the beach it’s easy to get lost in the scenery. I highly recommend spending at least an afternoon here.

Loved this beach and it is just right for all kinds. Play beach all surf hike rock hunt (we found two agates) romantic and family friendly. Take pictures visit the cave we seen and find some starfish at low tide in the tide pools.

Highly recommend, especially at low tide!! We vacationed the top 1/3 of the Oregon coast, and this was by far our favorite beach.
Unfortunately, it is not ADA accessible

Stop here first if you're going to visit Cannon Beach.
It's a curvy uphill drive but worth the view. You don't even have to walk all the way down to the viewpoint, but there is one, and several other hikes available
Just, you really have to see it in real life.

Ecola State Park has such amazing views. I recommend going and enjoying the beauty it has to offer. $5 day pass required for parking. Self-service at kiosks to pay.

5 dollar entry fee per vehicle. Get here early to get a parking spot. Beautiful views with both hiking trails and beach fun. Like us, do both! Bring lunch and snacks with you; no amenities available. Bathrooms are typical state park bathrooms. Bring a change of clothing and a way to get the sand off, no rinsing station available.

This park is gorgeous! We did the trail that takes you to the “secret” beach and, while it was strenuous, it was worth every step. You go from the beautiful woods to a stunning beach and the root-y path feels so adventurous. Our dog enjoyed the trail just as much as we did, too!

Beautiful, beautiful place. The pictures speak for themselves. One caution is that it is a narrow windy road, DO NOT take a wide vehicle or a trailer here.

Hey, I have been here! Beautiful view with layers of ocean and mountains. Wish the weather was nice that day. Would like to come back in the Summer.

One of the coolest hikes I have ever done! The view of the ocean and the fog looked magical and all of the scenery along the trail was great. I went during the summer and it was very muddy so be prepared for mud if you want to hike here.

Ecola state park has the most spectacular views I’ve ever seen, the drive there is phenomenal through the forest to get there is a sight within itself, once there. There is a massively vast expanse area where you can look over the most beautiful ocean and phenomena rock formations I could’ve stayed here all day and night.

What an amazing drive. 100% natural. If a tree falls, they leave it in place. In all its glory! There’s hiking trails in the forest itself, and a quick drive down to the beach and you have hours of entertainment walking and seeing beautiful, beautiful, pristine, beach, rock, formations, and, of course the magnificent ocean. They have picnic tables. I highly recommend purchasing the Oregon State park pass. An amazing value. And if you are a senior it’s $50 for two years. At all the state parks. Anyway, come on down to this state park it is magical. The smell is amazing! I think you’d be a great place to have a wedding.

The cutest state park ever!! Elk just free roaming and hanging out. They are not scared of humans (not sure if that’s good or bad). Beautiful views from all directions. You can see the rock formations and lighthouse as well.

So beautiful and breathtaking views all around. We drove to Ecola view point, hiked Indian Beach Walking Trail (less than 5 miles), enjoyed half day here very much.

Our go to when we can't find parking at Cannon. The Crescent beach trail is a must if you come here. If you are lucky you can encounter elks. If you are real lucky you can see killer whales hopping in and out of water.

I haven't been to the beach in years. It was awesome. Beautiful spot with lots of ocean life to see and take pictures of. My daughters never been to the beach and I'm so happy we took her here for her first time seeing the ocean!

Wish I had more time to explore! Plenty of parking, easy trails, some could be harder for some. The drive in was long and winding but fun! Maybe next time that sky will be a little more clear but it was still beautiful!
