Holiday Inn Express Dumfries, an IHG Hotel

Very nice very clean hotel. Got in very late last night and Aisha (sure if that's the correct spelling of her name) was extremely friendly and helpful, probably the fastest check in I've ever had and I have stayed at quite a few hotels. Decent amenities and a decent breakfast selection. The rooms are a decent size so you don't feel claustrophobic and my room had a floor safe in the closet. Overall it was an excellent experience.

Very clean. The Staff were awesome! Especially Andrea who worked the front desk & breakfast. She was absolutely AMAZING!!! Glad to have met her along the way. She went absolutely above and beyond for us and all of her customers. Probably the nicest and funniest employee I've come across at any hotel. That girl deserves employee of the month and a raise!!! 😊 thanks again Andrea!!!! Glad to have met such a awesome person along my journey.♡

Stayed there for 4 days. Bedroom was very clean, neat, and comfortable, has everything that you need and all the space you need. Bathroom was very clean, and amazing lighting in both bathroom and bedroom. Delicious breakfast included. The only problem was the room was a little cold even when I turned up the heat.
Great hotel, definitely recommend it and will definitely stay in it again when I visit again.

The Holiday Inn Express at Dumfreys was amazing. It is newly renovated so that the rooms are large and especially well designed. The workspace is very functional and the rooms each have a refrigerator and microwave. The whole hotel was extremely clean. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and supportive. I had a medical emergency while I was staying there and was so fortunate for their responsiveness and support in handling the emergency and their support and concern in the days following. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who needs to stay in this area. You will not be disappointed!

The hotel was nice and clean. I went here for a 3 day trip to D.C. The hotel room was nice and clean, but the light flickered when you turned it on. Some of the hotel room lights didn't work at all but the majority did. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast food was amazing! This place is a good hotel to stay at.

Our stay was lovely! The front desk was very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious with lots of fantastic options. The rooms were clean, and the pool was superb! We will definitely be back the next time we come to visit family!

The room was clean and the complimentary breakfast was served by an amazing server named Andrea Robertson. She was very friendly and helpful as well as Iesha at the front desk.

We selected this IHG for two reasons.

1. Breakfast included with a fair amount of price.
2. Parking and its locality.

However , I observed the below

1. Breakfast is not IHG standard as other IHG hotels as per my experience.

2. Locality is good for areas near the outskirts of Virginia. For tourists, it's not worth that much

3. Rooms are newly designed and creatively placed.

I immensely enjoyed my stay. The hotel employees were beyond friendly. The room itself was immaculate. I actually felt " at home". I will definitely be returning for another stay and will definitely recommend staying there.

Probably the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in!

It might be one of the best on the road hotels i have ever stayed. it was sobconfy that we decided to stay another night. the beds and bathroom are the best. location is excellent. my wife and kids enjoyed it. Target is 4 mins away and across the street there are plenty of options for food.

Check in was quick and easy! Front desk staff are friendly, helpful and professional! I did digital check in they had everything ready for me! The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable! Good lighting all around. This place is convenient to restaurants and quick service foods! Plenty of parking! Did not have breakfast had to leave before it was time! But they do offer it.

The hotel was clean when entering. My room was so clean and comfortable. All staff was extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was great as well. I do want to acknowledge the front desk agent IESHA. She was so nice and very accommodating. Anything i needed she was right there. she made our stay very pleasant. Thank You Iesha

Quick check in, clean room, normal breakfast options, nice size room.

Only thing to note is that they didn’t inform us they were remodeling and the bathroom fans don’t work until we asked.

Lets just start from my check in. I arrived very early. Honestly it probably was around 11:30am. I walked in and the hotel was very clean and smelled so good. I asked the front desk could I check in but she said it was too early so I kinda got discouraged due to my friends and I driving for a long time. I guess the look on my face was sad because thats when the front desk women said write your name and number down and I'll call you when its ready. Not to mention I had 4 rooms. I left and about 30 to 45 minutes later she called and said your rooms are ready. I went back and not only did she have rooms ready but she had us all on the same floor. Throughout my whole stay the whole staff was so great. Rooms were clean and breakfast was great. I want to give a special thank you to the front desk girl IESHA. She was so helpful and so nice. I will always stay here when I'm in town. Thank you

Perfectly clean rooms and common spaces, comfortable beds, friendly, helping and courteous staff. Breakfast is yummy. Walking distance to several restaurants. Very safe.

Great location, friendly staff, complimentary breakfast. Not enough coffee.

Whole experience was excellent, staff was professional, helpful and very courteous. Lobby and dining room was spacious and super clean. Complimentary breakfast was always hot and fresh. I traveled with a group of 20 and we stayed for a week. We will be back for sure next year.
