Tolovana Inn

Brilliant! Much better than the big name hotels. Warm and cozy clean rooms that felt like home - did not want to leave.
We got groceries from across the street and cooked in the kitchen which had an oven and cooker.
Hope we can get rooms if we are back in the area.

We love this place! We have been staying here when we come to the coast! The front dest is amazing and Michael really treated us so well! Great hospitality! Our room has a kitchen and Murphy bed! I highly recommend! Great view and lots of space! So many great restaurants in cannon too!

We got everything we need to cook our dinner in the room. Only wish that they had an oven vent fan when you're cooking something. We had to open the sliding door to vent out some cooking smell. But no big deal. Just like a home away from home, you'll find almost everything you need away from home. Great view of the ocean. Even for just a partial view, you can clearly see Haystack Rock. Quiet and clean rooms. Bath towels actually dries your body after shower unlike other hotels:)

We had a very comfortable stay here and would definitely come again. The location is pretty unbeatable being practically right on the beach, which of course made for an amazing view. Walls seemed fairly well insulated as there were folks rooming on the other side but we never heard them. Walking distance to store and shops was a plus.

Was the perfect relaxing getaway! The staff were particularly lovely, especially michael, I believe his name was. He was so helpful n nice i felt most obliged to write this review ! Thanks Michael !

Also there were bunnies on the grassy areas around the hotel, it was so cute .

Nice rooms and a terrific view

Our room was perfect . A full kitchen private main bdrm, with a queen size Murphy bed .very spacious. Absolutely perfect . Love the fireplace . Although we didn't use it . Perfect for wet chilly days . Thank you so much.

We had a fantastic room with a warm fire place, spacious, 3 beds and 2 baths to choose from, beautiful balcony with a great view to boot. Would stay here again for sure.

(Some people on here leave reviews complaining about the silliest things, haha).

I had a lovely quick stay at the Tolovana Inn this week, which was particularly made by Michael (pretty sure of the name) at the desk. He was so kind and personable and inspired this review! The bunnies surrounding the properties were awesome. Cheers Michael!

Vary clean rooms. Nice bed. The bathroom was great, bright, and clean. TV and coffee maker and hear dryer.

The rooms were very clean and well kept. It's right on the beach we had a room looking out over the ocean and cannon beach and conveniently located next to Moe's sea food

Excellent view. It was a long weekend. Stormy and relaxing. Although no food at the hotel only steps away is. Mo's seafood restaurant. Across the street is a grocery store. Will diffently stay here again.

We had a room with a king-sized bed. Not overly spacious, but more than adequate. Kids enjoyed the pool.

Stayed over the Holliday weekend and the accommodations were perfect! Super conveniently located close to the beach. We loved their hot tub and sauna. Extra blanket, iron, and hair dryer in the room. The only thing I will note is that the walls are pretty thin. We booked a standard queen room and was put in an adjoining room and I could hear the people next to me when they were speaking loudly. Might be different depending on the room type though. Overall great experience, thank you!

Absolutely amazing! I wished we could stay longer. Definitely the best hotel we’ve stayed in on our 3,000 mile 3 week honeymoon!

Truly unbelievable views right from the balcony! Guest services was incredible, very responsive. The price point was good and the location was perfect!

It was our first time on the Pacific Coast, and as I'm sitting here having a warm hot chocolate watching the waves crashing in on the morning we have to depart, I know this won't be the last. Our stay was fantastic. The staff are lovely, the pool is great, and the rooms feel like home. We love it here!

I have few things to comment on.

1. If Tolovana is going to offer rooms with kitchens, they should at the very minimum include oven mitts or pots holders for grabbing things out of the oven. That seems like a no-brainer to me.

2. Also pertaining to having rooms with kitchens, it would be smart to have aluminum foil and plastic wrap for people who choose to cook and have leftovers or need the foil to cook in the oven with. There are no spices or seasonings whatsoever or oil whatsoever.

3. I’m not sure how often Tolovana checks their kitchen utensils in the rooms, but they should be regularly checking them and updating if necessary. The can opener in our room was so rusty, it took me nearly two minutes to open *one* can.

4. Our room also did not have any sort of surface cleaner. I’m bot sure what the cleaning staff uses, but I don’t clean my counters and tables at home with just warm water. That doesn’t disinfect or get anything very clean. It would be nice to have some sort of cleaner or at least a pack of disinfecting wipes under the sink.

5. Lastly, our dvd player was very finnicky. We had to unplug it and then plug it back in for it to work on the evening we tried to watch a rented movie. We tried watching the same movie again the following morning (we have two young children), and it wouldn’t work. I don’t know if it would be easier to install fire sticks to each room and then guests can sign into their own Netflix or Amazon Prime accounts as they check in to their rooms and sign out when they leave. But dvd players should be working just fine if they’re going to offer dvd rentals in the lobby.

Our family will still continue to stay here because we love it so much, and would still recommend Tolovana to friends and family, but I know for a fact these adjustments/upgrades would be greatly appreciated by any future and/or returning guests.

Been here 3 times over the last 4 years. Great place, great views, and a place we will continue to visit as often as we can.

We rented 3 oceanfront rooms for a week. The family had a wonderful time. I can not think of anything I would change! We were blessed with a herd of elk walking by, on the beach in front of our rooms. Oh...the bunnies are so cute and everywhere on the immaculately landscaped lawns. We will be back!
