I can’t believe I’ve never been there until today. The owners are amazing and so kind. The pastries are fantastic. I can’t wait to try their sandwiches. This will keep Rice’s alive as long as it’s here.

Rice’s is open again for the spring! Go here and be delighted! On a Saturday morning it was plenty busy and full of happy regulars promising to be back. The donuts are small but moist and dense. The menu is a nice mix and they serve coffee as well. The eggs on toast on the milk bread looked insane! My aunt had that and I had a breakfast sandwich. I was really impressed! There’s a few chairs inside but I noticed some picnic tables around the outside of the barn too. Highly recommend!

I would typically share a photo, but I was starving and the food looked so good, there just wasn’t any time for a photo. This place is an absolute must for an elevated take on a classic greasy spoon establishment. From locally sourced ingredients, to just about everything being homemade, I highly recommend!

The best food on the planet!! PERIOD. There's some food you eat and then there's the Speckled Egg Cafe which you experience. Each item is prepared to order. The taste of each bite is in a word MAGICAL!! I enjoy savoring each bite raather than rushing through my meal. The attention to detail (even the napkins are amazing), quality of ingredients, charisma & passion of the owners makes for the greatest dining experience! The Kimchi Egg Sandwich is my all time favorite. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

The food here is top notch. Today we had their sausage egg and cheese, scrapple, salt and vinegar potatoes, and the bahn mi hot dog. Everything was full of flavor and enjoyable. The rolls were light and tasty and the meats tasted fresh. They are doing things the correct way here, high quality food for a fair price. Great, friendly people as well. I would post pictures but we didn’t take any because we hogged it all down!

I absolutely love the food and the service. I ordered a cinnamon bun and they kindly gave me a 2nd at no charge. Absolutely so sweet. You should get a food truck!

What a incredible place! Skip the fast food joints and get your sausage, egg, (cooper) cheese sandwich here. Just amazing. Just look how big it is. The pulled chicken taco was amazing! This is a place absolutely have to try.

Stumbled upon this place randomly on a Tuesday while passing through the area; had never been to Rice’s Market before.
It was after 1pm, so the market was closing down but we stopped in for lunch before they closed at 2. Got the Banh Mi hot dog and chicken shawarma burger. Wow!!! Absolutely delicious. We feel so lucky to have randomly found this place and make it in before they closed!

One of the best breakfast in the area. Its small and only open 2 days a week but they need to find a stand alone restaurant and be open 7 days would not be enough. Home made sausage, eggs and cheese and home made buns. The homemade blueberry scone was one of the best I've ever had. Same with the homemade donuts. Its in Rice's Market so you pay a buck to get in and park.

Chef Meg Loos and Tony Artur, two familiar faces from the New Hope/Lambertville restaurant scene, serve up scrumptious, inventive breakfast and lunch cuisine in a charming café. Though only open on the same days as the Golden Nugget Market, definitely keep your eye on this spot, ideally with your hands on one of their delicious fried chicken sandwiches.

The spinach, leek, egg and cheese on a house made sesame seed bun was absolutely delicious. Peruse a cookbook or two while waiting for your meal. I wish we lived closer.

Absolutely incredible. Had the sausage, egg, and cheese here as well as the pork sandwich they did at a pop up at another location. The crispy potatoes are also killer. Great sandwiches made by great people.

New favorite spot! I’ve had breakfast at the speckled egg several times and enjoyed every meal. The coffee is delicious and the menu is inventive, made with healthy, fresh food and expertly prepared. There are interesting new items to try every week as well as the usual items. The atmosphere is friendly and casual and very clean. This a great find and I can’t wait till they try doing pop up dinners.

Best little, hidden gem!! Delicious and perfect. Small, meaningful menu bursting with flavor. Everything is great, the staff, food and price. Do yourself a favor and try it. The crispy potatoes are my favorite.

One of the coolest and most niche cafes I’ve ever been too. I come here almost every weekend to get a sausage, egg, and cheese because it’s one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Everything ordered comes out in a clean organized fashion and in a timely manner. Megan and Tony are two absolute gems of people that are always accommodating and friendly. Their passion shows through their variety of simple yet delicious and comforting dishes. Wish them the best of luck in future endeavors.

Genuinely one of the best mushroom burgers I’ve ever had in my life. We got a bit lost trying to find the place, but the other market vendors were kind enough to direct us. I’ll definitely be back!

We have been meaning to visit this cafe earlier and finally got sometime to eat there today. We had the fried chicken sandwich, gazpacho and some fries. All were fantastic. The chicken was crisp and moist, gazpacho had a nice bite and who doesn’t like salt and vinegar fries? Super clean place and very friendly staff. I highly recommend visiting this café and spending some time looking around the golden nugget flea market. You can find treasures at both.
