Rices Markets, located just outside of New Hope, is a treasure trove of unique finds and eclectic shopping experiences.

As a frequent visitor over the years, I have come to love the diverse range of vendors that can be found at this historic market. One of my personal favorites is Periodical Services, which offers an amazing selection of calendars, figurines, collectibles and home decor.

What many people don't know is that Rices Markets has a rich history that dates back to the spring of 1860 when Mr. A.L. Rice settled in Solebury Township, Pennsylvania. Mr. Rice auctioned his own products as well as those of his neighbors and word of his success spread quickly. Soon, farmers from all over started to bring their cattle and farm goods to Mr. Rice to offer for sale.

By the 1950s, a market was added and Rice’s began to quickly grow to over 400 vendors from throughout the Northeast! Today, Rice's Market is the oldest and largest outdoor market in Bucks County.

As you wander through the market, it's hard not to notice the amazing assortment of antiques and home goods, making it the perfect destination for anyone looking to discover treasures from times past. Whether you're searching for collector's items, heirlooms, period pieces, or more, there is something for everyone.

And the best part? Everything is priced to sell, making Rice's Market a true bargain hunter's paradise.

Rices Market is a must-visit destination for anyone in the area looking for a unique and fun shopping experience. With its rich history and diverse range of vendors, there is something for everyone at this incredible outdoor market.

Although I have visited New Hope, PA several times, over the last few years, I had never heard of Rice's Market until Saturday, November 18, 2023. Although by the time my life partner, our two mutual friends and I had arrived, it was a little after 12PM, we found plenty of great vendors. From Rivera's Hot Sauces, Vibrational Roots and two other vendors whose business names I do not recall (but I do recall the gorgeous Smoky Quartz and super delicious pumpkin bread (the last one, too; it was waiting for me). My day trip companions look forward to returning next year, in 2024.

This Market is worth FIVE stars just for SUPPA THAI Take-out! Her passion is authentic Thai Food (which is what she grew up eating in Thailand!) Her ingredients are TOP Quality. The flavors of her dishes are COMPLEX! Mouth-watering! I only wish this was not 1 hour drive from my home!!! New Hope, PA you have a HIDDEN GEM!!!!!

Cute market with many vendors and great atmosphere ! We were so lucky to visit this area on a Tuesday so we got to visit this market and enjoy the environment there.
There is plenty of parking for 1$ and very clean restrooms.

Every time we are in town we make it a point to stop here. They are only open on Tues and Sat. You never know what neat things you will find. The vendors are all so nice too!

Always a classic. Open Tuesdays and Saturdays, and often on holidays, such as Labor Day. Their website/socials keep up to date with hour changes. Tons of parking, restrooms, food, homemade goods, clothing, sneakers, sunglasses. You name it. Yes, they have Pokemon. Fun for everyone!

Rice's Market offers a delightful blend of nostalgia in a contemporary setting. It boasts an impressive array of items, ranging from plants and rugs to golf equipment and fresh produce. One standout for me was the captivating 'Evil Eye Lady' stand, where a mesmerizing collection of necklaces and rings adorned with the evil eye motif awaits.

Parking is $1, there are plenty of vendors inside and out the market. Wonderful selection of wines, condiments, vintage goods, and baked goods for sale. If you’re hungry, check out The Speckled Egg. Staff and patrons are friendly. Good place to spend the afternoon. There is an expansive garden center in the back.

This market is very small and not what I expected. I was able to go through the entire market in less than 20 minutes. What I found was a bit pricey but still reasonable. That being said, it was well worth the hour drive out and I can't wait to go back.

The venders are super friendly and I ended up getting some great deals, met a man on his 92nd birthday, and made some excellent connections, as well as donated a few dollars to a food bank.

Definitely would recommend, but just bring enough cash.

Rice’s has always been a favorite since I was a teenager and now that I’m older than dirt. My teenaged daughter loves it now too.

Great place to shop for vintage items, jewelry, crystals, good quality plants, and your other standard flea market items. Have fun!!!

I grew up 7 houses down from this place. It’s not like it used to be (crazy hectic, line of cars backed up to 202 and Mechanicsville rd) but you can’t beat the setting, vibes, history and vendors. It’s absolutely worth checking out.

Great flea market but don't go on a Saturday. It is open Tuesdays and Saturdays but Tuesday is the day with most vendors. They have a great Amish bakery inside but go early cuz the good stuff sells out. Only $1 to park.

I really liked it here! The plants were beautiful and bountiful! Plus it was nice to talk to each vendor and get to know them more! Everyone was so kind, and it was cute to get a bite of food and walk around! Really cute and I would visit again!
