Amici Trattoria Shrewsbury

This was our second time visiting the restaurant and we would go back. The portions are enough to eat and take home to have 2 or 3 more meals. We had the pasta and meatballs (and added sausage), chicken piccata, biccole, filet, and cannalloni fiorentina. All meals were excellent. We had desserts as well, limincello cake, carrot cake, and creme brulee.
We would recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly.

I never make reviews but had to! 10/10 best Italian in Shrewsbury. I’ve only had take out and it was incredible. Packaged well by wrapping takeout boxes in plastic wrap to keep hot. Quality food, big portions, decent pricing.

Every time I've been here, the experience has been absolutely phenomenal. The food is freshly made and incredible, the staff is attentive and fun, and the place is tastefully decorated. Truly a hole-in-the-wall.

Amicis has been in Shrewsbury forever. We love to have family dinners there, is cute, quaint, food is great, good music. Service is great.! Definitely recommend it.

This is a great Italian restaurant! Pleasantly surprised by this place which has a generous menu at a very reasonable price point expected for a place of this kind. The calamari, Salmon risotto and Buffalo pizza were exquisite.

Not much parking, but they have valet.
No waiting area so we were in the way while we waited. The food and the service were stellar and the prices are more than reasonable.

Always great food and service. Restaurant week menu was a nice surprise when we arrived. I strayed from my normal choice to try the steak tips which were perfectly cooked and tasted great. Arugula gorgonzola salad and a chocolate chip canoli were also delicious. I guess I forgot to get a picture of the entree, but it was great.

Great Italian food in a cozy atmosphere. Good value for portion sizes of Italian classics (eggplant/veal/chicken Parm, ravioli, lasagna etc)

We’ve been here 3-4 times. The food is always delicious. Our server was great. The apple crisp was meh, but otherwise, well worth it.

Our 2nd time there in 3 weeks and was great again. It was the second time we had Paige as our server and she excelled again. She topped off a great experience with alerting the valet that we were done and our car was pulled out and warming up for us as a favor due to an extenuating circumstance. It was extremely well appreciated and showed great thought on her part.

Delicious food! So good my wife and I had to share our dishes.

Great personal service. The atmosphere was lively but very comfortable for our private date night conversation.

Food was delicious. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Cost was reasonable. My only minor issues are the restaurant is quite small and the lighting was such in that I needed to us my cell phone flash light to read the menu. I will definitely return.

Very nice restaurant, great atmosphere and food. Service is great, portions are large. It is more on the expensive side, but well worth it. Parking isn’t too difficult to figure out — you can just park at the old Beal school down the road and walk.

We love Amicis! The food is great - best pizza in the area and we travel through 2 towns to get there. Staff is welcoming, friendly and professional. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. We always have such a good time there.

This place is one of my favorite "Little Italian" restaurants. The service staff is quick and friendly, the atmosphere is small-scale family restaurant, and the food.... Oh... My... Word... The food is amazing! Get the Alfredo with so.e fresh pasta... You will eat so much you feel ready to burst, and still have enough for tomorrow's lunch! Prices are mid range, expect to spend $60 for a couple to eat and have a drink.

Delicious!! Amazing food! Cocktails are alright. No reservation necessary, first come first serve basis. However, you can call 15 minutes before arrival to get on the wait list, which should result in a shorter wait. Plety of parking behind the building. Would certainly recommend and will visit again.

I have been away from town for a while. Just revisited last August. Food quality and price are both reasonable. The waiter dude (think hes still in high school?) was super nice and attentive!

Great menu. Couldn't decide what to have. I love risotto and they have 6 different kinds. The food was excellent and I plan to go back soin. The service was a bit slow, but I was in no hurry, so it didn't bother me. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
