AdventHealth Lake Placid

Went to ER today with my husband having not able to swallow anything due to a piece of chicken settled in his esophagus and they took him right in no waiting and Dr. Fields came in. Gave him a shot IV to relax him and got the chicken to go down with the IV and soda. Was in and no longer than an hr and a half and back home. The receptionist, nurse and dr a long with ER nurse were right on it. They are the best. dr Field said he would fix his problem or send us to where they could get it done. I was there a few yrs,
. Ago with an ear ache problem and they got right on it right away.

Unfortunately I have had to stay in several different hospitals in the last few years but my stay at Lake Placid was the VERY best experience I have had. Every one who took care of me were the most kind & comforting & professional when taking care of me what ever I needed. I wish I could have eaten more because it was the most delicious food. I hope if I ever need another hospital I will always select Lake Placid

I had a wonderful experience at Advent Health in Lake Placid. The Nursing staff was great. Maria and Felah took such good care of me. Broward always brought my food with a smile and he was amazing. You have great staff. Dr. Cadet was very informative

The nursing staff is one of the greatest in the United States. Their lives are dedicated to each patient my stay was made better because of these people

Being my first time at this facility they guided me quickly to the imaging department. Once there they took my information and was done within 20 minutes of entering the building. Everyone was very helpful, kind and willing to make ones visit as quick and comfortable as possible...Nice work Team Advent Lake Placid Imaging.

All the people I dealt with in Imaging were caring, professional, courteous, and friendly. I was so pleased that they mailed the report and a CD to two providers via Fed Ex two-day because the order was marked "Stat""."

I was treated very professional and the Dr and staff were spot on. I was taken care of and released with an understanding I was under control and the meds given would take care of.y issues. Thank you!

My husband had excellent care at Lake Placid Advent Health Hospital from ER to 2 day hospital visit. Couldn’t ask for any better.

My grandson dropped a heavy coffee cup on his foot and has a deep open wound to r top foot, and the Dr. Yaritza Arriaga- Oneill and nurse William was absolutely AMAZING to my grandson X-rays and 3 sutures later he did great nothing broken but 3 stitches hes 4 yr old and these 2 did a GREAT JOB on making sure he was comfortable and also took time out to suture his Teddy bear... Thank you so much for all you did for him!! 💞

The personnel in the MRI are so attentive. I am not the easiest one to start an IV on and the tech got it first stick. They make sure you are comfortable and explain the procedure before and during each phase.
I was able to pick up a disk and report to take with me to my doctor’s appointment.
Could not be happier with my testing.

What a wonderful feeling and just to know that you have become a great grand parent what a blessing

Great hospital and especially their therapy unit!! Pam and Leigh Ann are great and so appreciate all the ways they have improved my quality of life!!

ALL Nurses were AMAZING!!!! Dr Joseph is also Top Notch and we are using her as our cardiologist. The Dr that came in at 7pm the day before I was discharged, needs to work on listening to patients. He cut me off everytime I tried to speak. He wasn’t in there more than 5-10 min and I’m sure my insurance is paying him well.
Food was DELICIOUS, other than the breakfast sausage 2 mornings. Not tasty at all. The people that brought the meals up were very pleasant.

My daughter and I came here for ultrasound and labs. Every staff member we encountered were very welcoming. Special thanks to Miguel and Maricela in the lab! I have small rolling and deep veins and Maricela did a great job of finding it the first time. My daughter was very nervous, and Miguel came and assisted Maricela in helping her to relax. This is our first time going to the Lake Placid hospital for everything, we typically go to Sebring. And although Sebring is very kind as well, they are typically far more busy so the wait times are longer. Will definitely return to this hospital if we have to get labs or testing in the future.

Nurse is very professional communication skills are very good. 1 out of 10 I give her a 20

Dr Montero is very knowledgeable, personable and easy to communicate with. He takes time to listen and answer all questions. I always feel like I am in charge of my health and have a strong partner to guide me. The staff is friendly and helpful.

All of the nurses, techs, aids, food and housekeeping people were fantastic.

My husband I have never had a bad experience with this hospital. I was recently in the ER and have never been treated so well. The night shift nurses were so efficient and caring. I wish I knew their names because they deserve a raise.

Had a cut finger, got quick service and very professional help. Had no problem at all. These people are very good and every time I’m there it’s perfect. I had a chest X-ray also. Same service! Always great!! Thanks!’

This is a great place to go for tests, x-rays. The personnel were all very friendly. I walked in without appointments and was seen very quickly. Results of bloodwork were the same day.
