Normally, I'm not a cupcake person. Even if I do have one, I usually scrape off the frosting because it's just too sweet for my taste. But let me tell you, Sweetz Bakery has completely blown me away. Their cupcakes are hands down the best I've ever had. They're unbelievably moist, and the frostings are perfectly balanced, not overly sugary. There's something about their cupcakes that makes them stand out from the rest. It's such a bummer that I only found out about them now, and they're closing down soon. I'll definitely be on the lookout to see if they'll ever reopen in the future.

This bakery is outstanding. We had cupcakes for thanksgiving and they were the best cupcakes I’ve ever had. The gluten free double chocolate were really good but the black and white were my favorite.

I Love Sweetz Bakery! All the cupcakes that I have had from there have been light and fluffy, not dense in the least. The frosting although looks like a lot, is not too sweet as to not overwhelm the cupcake making it, in my opinion, just perfect. I have a lot of co-workers that have food restrictions and I always come here to pick up sweet treats. They have a wonderful variety of vegan and gluten free cakes and they are just as delicious as the regular ones.

Love this place - maybe too much. (If there is such a thing as loving a great bakery too much.) There are two bakeries in Leesburg that are go-to places for authentic French pastries. Don't miss their cupcakes! They have the best assortment of gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan and other specialty cupcakes to suit the dietary needs of even the most discriminating customers. There is simply no telling which cupcakes are specially made for food sensitivities, allergies and other dietary needs and preferences. Try it if you haven't already!!!

Sweetz has Quality Cupcakes that aren’t overly sweet. Each one is individually packaged. We went for sprinkles, black and white, red velvet etc. Appreciate the dairy free gluten free option but note that this still includes egg. Even more so appreciate the vegan option as we have dairy and egg free diets.

Made a trip out to use their new cupcake vending machine, because... they have a cupcake vending machine. It's located right outside their storefront and available 24/7 for your cupcake cravings. Although we couldn't get it to work, everything ended up being fine because the store was open anyway, and the cupcakes inside cost less. The lady behind us got the machine to work by inserting her chip card instead of tapping it on the reader like we did.
The amaretto cupcake was delicious. 🍰

Always love coming here, their cupcakes are some of the best around! From pumpkin to chocolate peanut butter as well as fruit flavored. I always pick them up for a celebration! Today I realized they had pastries and how delicious they were as well. Had the croissant donut filled with cream and rolled in sugar. It was perfect! Will come here again for breakfast. It's also good to see they have several varieties of vegan and gluten free cupcake options as well.

The best cup cake ever for sure ! I ordered a 3 dozens of cupcakes 🧁 for my daughter's birthday party and all my friends and family loved it.

Love Sweetz. Excellent cupcakes. Always good service. The addition of the cupcake vending machine was a stroke of genius. Very sad to hear that they are closing their doors.

Great bakery. Their cupcakes are lovely. The laminated dough in the pastries is properly executed. My favorite is the almond croissant, as their marzipan is very good. Their bagels are also made correctly, being proofed overnight and then boiled and baked, best bagels in Leesburg. If you want bagels on Saturday, you should call ahead on Friday before 2:30pm to make sure you get some, otherwise you'll probably get scooped by someone else Saturday morning.

They have the most amazing cupcakes the icing is very light and creamy not super sweet and they have a great variety my fav is the chocolate peanut butter

I mentioned this place at a small gathering the other day and two separate people having different conversations chimed in to voice their praise to the person I was recommending these cupcakes too. Our conclusion? "If you'd like to have, a truly life-changing red velvet experience, go to sweetz. All of their cupcakes are super light and somehow also creamy and rich, and never too and never too sweet - despite the name - so you like very sweet cupcakes with mostly butter frosting, etc, these might not be your favourite, but I'd give em a try. They also have specials on certain days.

Love this place, and it's always a nice treat. My favorite is just the plain vanilla. The cupcakes are always refrigerated so you know they stay fresh. The icing is so smooth and buttery and creamy and just delicious! I highly recommend to anyone with a sweet tooth.

This is the only place we buy cupcakes now! We hired Sweetz to do our wedding cupcakes and the cupcakes were delicious! So creamy and sweet but not overpowering sweet. They decorated the cupcakes according our wedding theme and delivered them on time and they were amazing! Now that they have opened up a shop in Leesburg, we go there all the time for a sweet treat! They have different specials everyday and they even offer sandwiches and soups that change everyday as well! All in all a great place!

I rarely feel inclined to leave a review but this bakery earned it. My son has several food allergies but we still wanted him to have a cake for his first birthday. After calling all around the DC area, I was pleasantly surprised that a bakery right here in Leesburg has a vegan and nut-free option.

We ordered a vegan sweet potato cake (just what I wanted) - admittedly, I did not have high expectations given the requirements - but, oh man, the cake was SO GOOD! All of the party guests felt the same way. Absolutely mind boggling to me that the cake was vegan. It was moist, flavorful, and the icing tasted great. I actually think I liked this cake better than most non-vegan cakes. Job well done by Sweetz!

Literally the best cupcakes we have ever had. Their other desserts are also delicious. We moved out of state and every time we come back to VA, everyone requests we pick these up. I wish they would ship nationally! The staff is super nice and knowledgeable.

First time here. Got 4 cup cakes. They were sooooo good! Best cupcakes i ever had. Worth of driving to here. The gluten and lactose?! (I forgot)free cupcake was the best.

Our “go to” bakery! Always have the best tasting cupcakes (very fluffy frosting) and pastries. It’s not overly sweet and reasonably priced for a local shop. Customer service is also wonderful. Brought a variety of pastries to a party and it was a hit! (Ordered scones, cinnamon rolls, and apple turnover). Shop local!
