Chincoteague Island Library

A very charming little library with an amazing staff! Our daughter wanted to stop in and look at the children’s section of books. She loved the atmosphere and picked a quick little story to read. The librarians gave her a nice coloring book and told us about the library while our daughter happily read her story! A cute place worth checking out while visiting downtown.

The librarians are so friendly, and so wonderful… This is one of the most beautiful libraries I’ve ever seen.

I didn't have WiFi where I am staying so I came here in order to get on the internet and complete two online meetings. Eileen and Harriet took great care of me. They allowed me to reserve an area where I could host my meetings and they were very helpful/welcoming.

Always love a library, plus this one had lovely staircases and a balcony. So quaint!

Needed a place to get some work done while on the island. The library worked well for that.

Great variety help ful staff

Very nice library I just wish the check out counter staff would be a bit quieter, the last two times I was there they were all talking very loud. I was always taught to be quiet in a library, obviously they have forgotten proper etiquette.
