My husband and I have family in the VA area, and we were thrilled to celebrate our recent marriage with all of them in the summer of 2023! Cakes by Happy Eatery did an outstanding job making detectible spreads of various pastries and a stunning, 3-tier cake that was baked and decorated to perfection! Everything came well packaged and Victoria and Emily placed and presented everything in a picturesque display! We were thrilled with the incredibly friendly and generous service! Thank you so much for everything!

Placed a last minute same day dairy free custom cake order and they did not disappoint! They were very helpful and customer service couldn’t have been better. They even meet the birthday boy and made him smile. Definitely recommended for anyone in the area especially if you have someone with dietary restrictions. 😍🥰❤❤❤

My family and I had such a wonderful experience with our wedding cake tasting and our wedding cake last year. Victoria is very responsive and helpful. We are so glad we chose them for our wedding cake, and we love that they offer a complimentary cake for your one year anniversary! No more freezing the top layer of cake - instead, you get to enjoy a fresh cake to celebrate. Very much appreciated. Would recommend to anyone in the NoVa area.

We were provided several fun treats for the dessert bar at our wedding! Guests enjoyed not only the taste but how adorable the desserts were at our reception. The ice cream cake cones seemed to be a crowd favorite!

Ordered a vanilla buttercream vegan birthday cake for my husband and it was delicious! There was even a yummy layer of strawberry mousse in the middle. My family really enjoyed and my husband had two slices even though he's not a big fan of sweets. They have fantastic customer service and truly did their best to accommodate my order with short notice. Thank you!

Wonderful bakery!! The staff was VERY knowledgeable in many dietary needs- from diabetic to GF, DF, vegan, soy free...and beyond! I wouldn't hesitate to order a cake or baked goods here! My GF DF cupcake was very moist and delicious! Not dry at all. I will be back again!

Great customer service, great price and more importantly delicious cake. Purchased a cake for my wife birthday. Did not know what to order but received helped from the great staff and the cake looked amazing and tasted very good. My wife and all the guest love it. Because the cake was not ready when I got to the store the owner gave me birthday candle for the cake and a drink for free. Thank you for everything Cakes by Happy Eatery!

We had a great experience with this shop. For placing the order, we just went in and showed them a photo of what we wanted and selected the flavor. They took down our details and had the cake ready for us on the date and time requested. Our daughter was very happy with her “Encanto” cake. The flavor was rich and everyone enjoyed it.

Had our wedding cake designed here. The owner was very polite and understanding of our needs. She was able to create something based on pictures we showed. She also had tons of folders showcasing her past work which aided in creating our design. She and her team were also very punctual in delivering and decortaing the cake on our special day. Needless to say, it was also very delicious. Will definitely be going back here to have our one year anniversary cake :)

I ordered a vanilla sponge cake with vanilla buttercream and chocolate filling for my dad’s birthday party. It was BEAUTIFUL and delicious! Everyone at the party loved it. Thank you, Victoria!

My husband has a fondness for fruit tarts, and requested a fruit tart in lieu of a traditional cake for his birthday. He expected a basic grocery store tart, but I decided to order an assortment of small tarts in different flavors from Happy Eatery. We got two each of the lemon, strawberry cream, and chocolate caramel tarts, and a bunch of adorable little puff pastries stuffed with whipped cream and berries. My husband’s eyes lit up when he saw the platter. Everything was beautifully presented, and tasted just as good as it looked! We will definitely be back.

My first time going I purchased a slice of orange cranberry cake and apple cupcake both were good. I gave the atmosphere 3 stars because of the smell it’s not a smell of things baking.

Great for gluten free cookies, cupcakes and more. Good selection of gluten free baked goods. Non GF cakes, treats and more as well, everything from cookies to wedding cakes.

They do seasonal treats such as themed Cooke's, cakes and cakes too.

Small seating area to enjoy your treats and coffee.

Reasonable prices and very friendly staff. Great service.

This bakery is so cute. I randomly visited this place the other day and was very impressed with the pastries. I don't really really like chocolate cake but had a chocolate cupcake and as you see it didn't make it to film😋😂😂😂.

I'm a dessert fiend and they delivered. I had a slice of cheese cake. It was delicious. There were so many choices to choose from. My wife is vegan and they have vegan options as well. We will be visiting them again. Also, the staff is super friendly, very knowledgeable, and helpful.

Cakes By Happy Eatery needs to be your go to needs for baked goods and special occasions! They are done with an artisan’s touch and tastes delicious! The Mid-Autumn Festival is now and just look at the detail of the koi fish moon cake! Highly recommend!!

Picked up a last minute cake for a bday for someone who only likes whipped icing. 2 were available and we opted for the Caramel Macchiato cake which was amazing!! Custom print was adding without the need to ask, everyone was super helpful and nice. Would definitely go back for more and other items!
