I'd like to express my gratitude for sales manager James Phelps--he was phenomenal!

I purchased an HP printer 1 week earlier at this Staples location. It was a lemon. The staff advised they'd take it back, no questions asked. When I returned to the store James processed my return and then helped me select a new Canon printer. It was a touch more expensive than the previous one ($30) but had almost identical features, except for the ink. This printer uses ink reservoirs instead of the traditional cartridges, and the cost comparison is staggering. I can purchase ink refills for about $40 compared to the same kind of cartridges at $120. So, I was happy about that suggestion from James. And, I did not mind that he offered me the extended protection plan (4 years at $10 more than the 2 year plan I purchased for the previous printer).

In and out in under 30 minutes and I completed a return and made a purchase and learned more about ink jet printers than I had previously known.

He's a gold mine of information on printers, and he really enjoyed helping me.

Now, for Staples Human Resource Management to hire or clone that energy to fellow staff members.

I am about 15 minutes from this Staples location, and normally prefer to shop on line and have it delivered. On 11/15/23, I made a special trip into the store to purchase more printer ink and to also recycle some cartridges. I waited in a line of about 3 people as there was only 1 register open at 12:30 pm. Thankfully, a young man named Jason, who was also guiding other workers in something looked over and saw there was a line and opened another register. I wasn't in a hurry, but I noticed the cashier I was waiting to be served by and how she was really kindly treating the customer before me. She seemed thorough and patient and generally happy to assist the customers in what they were getting. When it was my turn, this same cashier turned to me and greeted me with a warm smile and asked what I needed help with. This cashier's id number is 2045879, but I noticed her name tag said "Memory". She was one of the best cashiers I have ever had at Staples, or any store for that matter. I bought the printer cartridges, and also returned some used ones and asked Memory about a promotion that was going on. Memory then proceeded to ask if I had the Staples App? I told her I am not savvy with my phone or computers and did not have the App. I had a Staples account though. Memory not ONLY guided me through the app, but she gave me tips on so many other things I didn't know and was able to get me signed onto the app to see my rewards and also claim some of the promos only available if you have the app. I couldn't believe how sweet and patient she was, thankfully there wasn't a line of people waiting, but when someone did come, Jason again, came and helped that next customer so that Memory could continue to help me with these extra needs. WE NEED MORE MEMORYS in the world! I walked out of Staples that day with MUCH more than the printer ink. Memory's kind and helpful customer service gave me confidence I was getting the best that Staples had to offer. She didn't react to my computer/phone illiteracy with impatience or an attitude that often can make a person feel less than. Instead, she gave me a smile on my face and an honest to goodness feeling that someone cared about me that day. I often say to others, "Make a great day"! If you are served by Memory, your day will be better! Thanks to Jason AND Memory for an unexpected and joyful shopping experience in my new favorite Staples store!

I went to the store yesterday and the customer service was amazing!! Omnia helped me with everything i wanted. She is very genuine person and truly cares about what you need. She was very kind and nice to the other customers who were before me as well. Definitely coming back!

Had a small purchase to make this afternoon. When i got to the register both clerks were busy with customers who were not in the best mood and taking considerable time. They stayed with them, didn’t raise their voices and quickly opened another register for the rest of the customers for someone else to ring me up. Thanks for holding together for the rest of us!

Shout out to Omina. I had a wonderful experience working with her at Liberia Staples! Her dedication to customer service was exceptional, she went above and beyond to assist me with a warm smile. Omnia was highly knowledgeable about the products and services, made shopping at Staples a breeze.

excellent customer service!!! Alysia and her manager Lee both gave EXEMPLARY customer service which could not, in any fashion, have been improved upon. I had an online return, and though the computer system was slow (the poor folks at staples still have to deal with an AS400. That's ancient technology for those not in the know) Alysia, and later her manager remained pleasant, upbeat, and helpful. About 5 minutes later, I witnessed them giving great customer service/ helpful troubleshooting to a lady who was having printer(or maybe ink) issues. Clean store, labels where they were needed, even clearance was organized. Retail tends to suck the life out of people, but not at this location.

What extraordinary customer service by General Manager Lee Cooper and his staff. I brought in a huge copying project and they said we can get it done tonight!! I am so grateful for the advice and care they put into making things perfect! It's no wonder I heard his employees call him a magician!

Leor Cooper the store manager was especially helpful, I’m new in business and needed supplies to get myself started, he stuck by me and guided me through. As well as the manager the other employees were very helpful. My sincere thanks to leor and his staff, I will definitely be back.

Had the pleasure of working with Mike from the printing section a few days ago. I had came two days back to back to pick up business cards and he provided AMAZING customer service! Very quick, polite, and friendly!

We had our sons first birthday invitations printed here! They turned out great and were ready within 24 hours! The customer service was also great!

Was here for a TSA pre check thing, but the store was nice. I used to work in an Office Depot so this felt familiar. Several workers greeted me and directed me to where I needed to be. Quick and efficient

This is a typical Staples that has all of the office supplies and small furniture that you need for your main office or your home office. I typically run here if I'm in a pinch for printer cartridges as sometimes it's difficult ordering online and waiting a few days for the shipping of that item to actually arrive to me. Who's places neat clean and well-lit, which is always a plus when you go in for the in-store experience. I recommend that you stop by this place because the staff are friendly as well as helpful.

This store is the best. They have helped me on so many occasions going above and beyond my expectations. The customer service is impeccable. I plan on doing something nice for these hard working kind considerate extremely helpful people. I also don’t mind spending money here because of the great quality of service and products. Thank you Staples Manassas You are appreciated.

My friend definitely ran into the man she is gonna marry! And I don’t wanna expose anybody, but apparently he helped jump start a car last week! Would recommend they have good planners! Although not the cutest pencil cases...

Nice experience buying cartridges for a printer at home. Mr. David, a manager gave me good information to buy a new laptop computer.

I go to Staples every year to copy my family's Tax forms which are over 100 pages in total. The copiers work well and I get quick assistance whenever I need it.

I needed something copied and shrunk. They were so helpful. I was in and out in a jiffy and was only charged pennies! Great service
