Absolutely amazing staff! They took such great care of our dog, and they did the most hands-on and thorough examination we’ve experienced! Cannot recommend them enough!

Our very old. Quaker parakeet is quite sick. We had him to an emergency vet when we were traveling and knew we needed to see a local vet. I am so grateful to have an avian vet almost in our neighborhood. In years passed, this wasn't even a possibility so we were very happy to find Ridge Lake animal hospital.

The staff there is wonderful. The intake worker seems to have an incredible amount of knowledge which was not expected and a pleasant surprise. He was both reassuring and quite helpful. The nurse assistant was very kind and gentle in caring for our poor old bird.

The vet seems to be truly knowledgeable about birds. Birds are quite different from many pets and a bit difficult to treat. Her knowledge has quite helpful to us. She has been willing to take the time to speak with us at length and to send us information that we need. An added plus is that she doesn't seem push too many tests right out of the gate the way other places have. Yet she is more than willing to order whatever tests are needed.

The whole staff is very compassionate and patient, which is something any pet owner with a sick animal is going to appreciate. I highly recommend Ridge Lake animal hospital

I originally reviewed on Yelp but wanted to make sure I share my experience on all the platforms because I like this place so much - I have had nothing but an exceptional and positive experience at Ridge Lake. A few months ago I realized something was off with my kitty Randal and was able to get an appointment here to check him out. Randal ended up needing to start a treatment plan for a pretty severe viral syndrome he had, and the staff here were able to give me all the information I needed, give me the comfort I needed at the time of his diagnosis, and give me some hope for his prognosis. I've continued to go to Ridge Lake for the duration of Randal's treatment for monitoring and blood work, and I'm happy to say he has been cured as of this week! Because of the kind and knowledgeable folks here, I've even moved over the medical records for my other kitty (Reston) to this clinic.
Everyone is always so kind and sweet to my boys when we come in, straight to the point when it comes to their health, and always looking out for me and the kitties.
It's really hard to find a vet clinic like this so I feel really lucky. If I had a better memory, I'd shout out everyone at this clinic but specifically (if I remember correctly) I've had the pleasure of interacting with Emily, Dr. Credit, Dr. Cherness, Jose, Raye, Kyana, and Jeff - thank you all so much for being there for my cats (kitty pics attached for cat tax)

We only were able to take our cat here once, as the nature of the visit ended up being far more dire than we'd anticipated. However they were very kind, understanding, and non-judgmental when we determined it would be more humane to let our cat go. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a local vet.

I was referred to Ridgelake animal hospital roughly 2.5 years ago to care for my ferrets when I became a new resident to VA. Living in Fredericksburg I chose to continue bringing them to Woodbridge because of how compassionate the staff has been through the last years I’ve had with them. All of you have made the final season of their lives manageable, you’ve all been patient with us and understanding especially when time was short. Thank you for continuing to tend to this little family 💜

I've been to many vets with our now 10 year old cat, and I can definitely say that this was the most attentive and thorough vet I've been to. Not only did I feel like everyone loved my cat nearly as much as I do, but I felt like I had the time to ask as many questions as I needed and got thorough explanations for everything. Often at a vet you can feel a bit rushed with the actual veterinarian, not so at Ridge Lake. Dr. Cherness went through every question I had about my cat, and even went so far as to give me recommendations for websites and products that would enrich her and help with her eating problem (she's a gorger!). I would recommend this vet clinic to anyone in the area!

10/10 best pet hospital. I only came for a check up and rabies shot which came out to be super affordable. The Vets are very nice, welcoming, and gentle with your pet. I will definitely be coming here for now on🐈‍⬛🐾

I first scheduled my Lionhead rabbit Violet online on a Wednesday and on Thursday someone called to confirm her appt for Friday. Scheduling Violet’s appt was very easy. At her appt we had no wait time. Dr. Joshi and her assistant was very nice, knowledgeable, proficient, gentle, and made Violet feel at ease. The hospital was clean, the staff is friendly and greeted Violet and I with a smile. In addition they gave my girl treats! This will be Violets care team for as long we remain in Northern Virginia. It sucks that I didn’t remember her assistant name, but she’s the one with the soothing voice, you can hear her smile thru the phone and her eyebrows are flawless! Thanks Violet & Natasha

I want thank each of the staff members who took great care of Charlie boy, the chinchilla. I appreciate all you did for my Charlie boy. What a great knowledgeable kind supporting stuff. I would recommend this veterinarian to everybody that I know.

Dr. Joski and assistant Jeffery were woonderful. They both loved our cat and treated her very well. She was a cooperative kitty and stayed very still through the exam and all is well. When it came time for blood work she did not cooperate at all. Dr. Joski asked us to come back for the blood draw and gave us a couple of pills to give her before her next visit that will calm her down. We have been going to Ridge Lake for about fourteen years and recommend it highly.

We called about our 16 yo min pin with an abscess/infection in her mouth and they fit us in. We haven’t been before and we may be bringing our other 2 doggies from now on. They were all nice and genuine and caring. If it wasn’t for multiple other places being booked out we would have never came but they were great. From reception to vet tech and vet.

Dr. Joshi and her staff were so welcoming and helpful and took their time with our two pet Holland Lops. This was their first vet visit and they were thoroughly examined and we were given lots of helpful information for caring for our pets. We're so happy we chose Ridge Lake!

My furbaby is 17 and has multiple issues. I believe they have been very helpful in maintaining her health and independence. She is doing great!

I really love Ridge Lake Animal Hospital. They are a bit pricey but I think it's worth it. They are really gentle and patient with both of my cats. Dr. Joshi is the best. She takes her time and explains everything very clearly. She never rushes through the appointment and answers all of my questions, which usually I have a lot! My boy cat has had ear problems ever since we got him and they took the time to teach us how to properly clean his ears, even brought out a diagram.They offer wellness plans now to help with payments. It's a great option to break up the costs. The staff are always friendly and helpful too. Love this place!

Vet is fantastic and zeroed in on out Minpin issue right away. Prescribed antibiotics and he was back up and running within a couple days. Staff is awesome too

We had previously used another vets and when my dog had to be euthanized we had a bad experience and decided to change vets. What an awesome experience at Ridge Lake. Dr. Pearce was amazing. We had two new puppies and she spent an hour with us going over everything. She spent extra time with my future daughter in law who is in medical school explaining everything she was doing and even allowed her to go behind the scene to show her a slide under the microscope. I would recommend this bets to anyone seeking care for there dogs

Ridge Lake Animal Hospital have been our clinic for more than 11 years. They have been treating my baby Emma for all the conditions that you can imagine, last one was cancer and all the staff, doctors and even the groomer treated my Emma and myself with all the compassion that we need in that circumstances. My baby is doing so well after her surgery, words can’t conveys the gratitude we have to Dr. Joshi, she is an angel and a very knowledgeable doctor, she is very kind, sweet and explained very well all the options for everything. I highly recommend Dr Joshi and her clinic to take care of your beloved babies!!

We love every vet we have experienced here. They care for our animals so well and treat us with respect in the process. Prices are very reasonable as well!

I have been taking my pup to Ridgelake Animal Hospital for a year now. Every single time I take him for an appointment it’s been a good experience. The staff are very patient and super nice. When I call or email they are always very helpful with my questions or concerns. My pup Bruno seems to like everyone that has helped him get his shots and more. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone with a fur baby. Great job. I have and have had friends and family take their Fur babies there as well and all good things to say. This is also why I choose them for Bruno.
