Baymont by Wyndham Front Royal Near Shenandoah National Park

This was a great room for the price!
The bed was clean and comfortable, nice pillows. Plenty of space in the room.
The shower had great hot water and lots of if.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
The Thai restaurant was an outstanding dinner.
The free breakfast was good.

For the price point, it was a great value.

First of all, it is a motel with rather low room rates and was used for a stop over on our trip, not for spending our whole vacation in there.
Yes, it's not the newest and you see some wear down, but it's nicely kept. Even having a pool for the "after drive swim" (great for getting the kid busy) and a decent US style breakfast (incl. fresh waffles).
All in all, as a stop over, I can fully recommend the place.

Nice and comfortable budget friendly hotel. New management that are undertaking projects to renovate and update the hotel. Super friendly and helpful staff. Room was very spacious and had recently been renovated. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Brand new linen and towels. Definitely a hotel with a lot of potential under the new management, excited to see what they do next!

My family and I stayed for over a week. The pool was clean and well maintained. The banquet hall is huge and they had plenty of tables and chairs. Breakfast every morning was hot and fresh. The room was cool and looked cozy when we came in. Jessica was a great housekeeper and everyone we encountered was very pleasant. I would definitely stay here again

My room was clean with working wifi and a hot shower. This is a budget motel that shares a lobby with an excellent Thai restaurant. The bed was firm but comfortable. Overall a great experience!

I've been coming here for years and they have changed the beds and the flooring and the bathroom fixtures for the money I think this is a great deal, they have a huge swimming pool and their breakfast is pretty delicious, I'll be back this makes my 15th stay..

Stayed here in March and again in June. Great location in the city. Other hotels were further out by the highway but the Baymont is right in town, and next to a great Thai restaurant! Nice pool, too!

Stayed here November 2022, unplanned, while traveling thru Virginia. Staff was nice, hotel was nice & clean, & room rates were not bad either. Would stay again.

Hotel is beautiful. Large lobby you can walk in, gym. Bar attached. Pool (out of season currently, but looks nice). Large dog area that's fenced.

Room is larger than we expected. No carpet (yay!!!). Actually has a fridge and microwave. Even a table and two chairs. Super impressive. Since we stayed here because it's the cheapest hotel.

We have been staying in hotels across the country, this is one of the nicest hotel rooms we have had so far. So many take away fridges and microwaves, you'd be surprised. Also this one gave more coffee and tea than most. Then more towels. Loved that.

Only complaint, shower curtain keeps opening when you're showering. Getting water on the floor. My OCD had me trying to close it over and over but it WILL not stay closed. I don't know if that's just this room though.

Then while I was showering, I looked up and saw a dark curly pube. Ew. Maybe look around before you get in. Never again. 😢 hahaha

The rest of the room was clean. But I hope next time they don't miss any hair, because there's nothing worse than looking at a pube and wondering who's it is. Picturing a greasy old man. Gag. 😠

My husband is on a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail and he chose to nero here. He loved the pool and having the laundry facilities on site.

I give them 5 stars for their professionalism and courtesy they extend to their guest. My stay there has always been a wonderful experience. The staff is excellent.

Navi, at front desk is very nice, excellent customer service and l would recommend this hotel to everyone.
