We believe the early years in a child’s education are so important in their overall development and we found that at Virginia Academy ( VAA) Our experience with the Virginia Academy has been amazing. Our two children, son is a 1st grader and daughter in K4, have been enrolled since K2 each. We couldn't be more pleased with the education our children have received and the overall academic and Christian environment, strong focus on character development and social development our children have experienced. The teachers and administration staff are spectacular. We also really appreciate the open communication between teachers and parents. We absolutely recommend this school to any parent looking for high quality Christian educational environment for their children.

Moving my daughter from a public school to VA Academy was the best decision I have ever made. All the staff truly care about the kids. It’s a family oriented school and my daughter loves it! Would recommend this school to anyone. We love Virginia Academy❤

For our family and 14yr old son, Va Academy has been a 1st class experience. The school does a fantastic job. The faculty is hard working and knowledgeable. Mr. Feathers, Mrs. Howard, Mrs. Graves, Mrs. Audette, Coach Posey and Coach Hagler - are some (but certainly not all) of the magnificent people we have met while at Va Academy. We consider ourselves fortunate to have these amazing people in our lives. The Va Academy curriculum is current, tailored, flexible and challenging. The facility is comfortable and enjoyed by the students. The student body is engaged, supportive and inclusive. And I should mention our son absolutely loves the food choices!:) The entire Va Academy culture is student centered and faith based - which is exactly what we were looking for. We could not be more satisfied with our experience at Va Academy. We are often asked about Va Academy and as a family, we gladly go out of our way to share our positive experience. Va Academy is an amazing school.

I would like to take a moment to speak about the entire staff at VAA. I am thoroughly impressed with the level of professionalism, dedication, and love they express in their jobs. It is very clear the level of love they all have for their jobs and the students that attend the school. I spent the first half of my education in the public school system and the last half in private school so I have had the experience of both even though if was decades ago. Neither of those experiences come close to what I see in VAA. When COVID-19 struck, the school was unexpectedly closed for the safety of the faculty and students. What the staff of VAA were capable of pulling together with no foreknowledge over the course of a three day weekend was nothing short of miraculous and has truly been exciting, remarkable, and impressive to witness. My children’s education has not skipped a beat. The transition from a traditional classroom environment to a fully virtual learning environment was nearly seamless. VAA has continued to expand their capabilities and provide more and more to their virtual educational repertoire. This school has truly been a blessing from the Lord for our family. I feel extremely blessed to have been lead to the VAA school and Community Church.

My children have been at the Virginia Academy cumulatively for 30 years....After all of these years, I can honestly say that I can't think of much about which we have had to complain. The teachers have been more than caring, the boys have made quality friends, and the three of them do well in school and score well on the standardized tests. I genuinely like the people who run the school and I see how hard they work to make it and each student a success.

As a child psychologist, I am often in the position of recommending schools to parents, and I have been recommending Virginia Academy for years. If you're looking for a school that strives for excellence in academics, while also placing a strong emphasis on spiritual, moral and social development and athletics, Virginia Academy is worth visiting. The teachers, support staff and leadership are very supportive, and they are always quick to respond to a question or concern. My 6 and 3 year old children are new students there this year, and they love it! They are coming home with great new thoughts, as well as a curiosity to understand and learn about the world. My wife and I are touched by their questions and comments about God and their newly learned social skills -- my son now says "yes sir" and "yes ma'am" to us when we ask him to do something. I know that Virginia Academy is making a real difference in their lives, and we are thankful. I give Virginia Academy my highest recommendation -- as both a parent and a child psychologist.

We love Virginia Academy and are so happy we found it for our children. Much higher academic requirements than public school in a calm and loving atmosphere.
The headmaster has a passion for all students to excel academically.

I love virginia academy although i do not go to this school anymore(Im in 9th grade). If you are going to enroll your child in this school this is the best decision you can make.I can guarentee they will treat your child with care and they will surely help your child to succeed in the best way possible. The staff is amzing and you will never find a school so dedicated to learning about the journey of god and education. This school is espically good for shy people because the people at this school make you feel so welcome as if they are your real family. I personally always looked forward to coming to school just becase i knew almost everyone here. This school might be considered somewhat expensive to some people but believe me it is worth it .I miss Vaa soooo much its unexplainable really ; (
