The Bank of Southside Virginia

I needed change for a 20 and didn't have an account there but they still hooked me up after a different bank told me no. Thank you so much

The Bank of Southside Virginia is a very nice, small community bank. Great customer service!

This Bank Is Very old School I missed placed my debit Card so I called to put a block on it so my money would be safe called bk the next day and they told me that I had to come to one of there locations which isn’t many locations to place my order to receive my new debit card .I told the lady I stay in Richmond Va and I get off work every at 5:30 which means I wouldn’t have enough time to get to the bank after work she didn’t care she told me it was Nunin she could do .So I went and opened another account and stopped my direct deposit and attempted to close my account they told me I had to make and appointment to close my account .I attempted to do so but before I can get a chance to take a day off of work the charged my account with a 6 dollar monthly fee which put me in the negative -6 I called them to ask about the 6 dollars and the told me if I don’t pay the 6 bucks the will charge me 4.99 everyday until the balance is paid off and the account balance was zeroed .THIS BANK IS A RIP OFF !!!!!!!!!!!!!I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BANK TO MY WORST ENEMY!!!
