Food Lion

Been here a few times in the past when things were hectic but this store is surprising me lately. It's super clean, well stocked and organized. The associates are real nice and I am thrilled to say thanks 😊 for impressing this shopper.

I enjoy Food lion, as much as someone can enjoy a grocery store. I can most of the time get in and out pretty quickly. The only problem I have is when the lines are long to checkout, but I understand why because I have worked in similar jobs, even food lion some years ago. I say keep doing what you're doing. Great job!

Excellent Food Lion. Clean facility, the shelves are always stocked and rarely do you find holes were product needs to be. The customer service here is excellent. The staff here are friendly and willing to help.

You either love it or you don't...I love my local Food Lion in Petersburg...it's the best place to buy groceries up and down S Crater Rd...😻🤪☺So FL is still the best grocery store North and South on Crater Rd in Ptsbrg but for the 3rd time they didn't have one of my obsessive desserts for about 6 visits so 'Me' was a lil P''d at FL.. Hear Me Out, if you have a problem then go see Mandy!! She's the one to get it done!!! Love her.. Now I don't have any problems getting my favorites at Food Lion in Petersburg cos, 'scuse me Dave...J/Kno Mandy is the Boss with the Sauce...Lol...I'm Not/K...Whatever her title is she handles the customers' wants n' needs the way she sees fit... the way management should help customers, in turn it makes Food Lion #1 in the public eye... at least it's how 'Eye' sees it... 😜

Beautiful woodwork inside and a vast variety of foods, great fresh fruit and veggies and an amazing variety of Kombucha and health products and probiotic drinks

Good experience, had all the meats that I needed. Couldn't find something in the store, a very nice worker, named Jacob, went and found what I needed and was very helpful in me taking care of all of my shopping needs. Wait time in the checkout line was very short, which was very nice and all of the prices were very reasonable. All in all good experience

I do not normally write a review of s grocery store, but we are new to the area and this is our closest grocery store. The store was clean and well-stocked for the current situation we are in with CoVid and civil unrest. The staff was professional and personable. Even our fellow customers were kind and helpful. Do yourself a favor and shop here. You will be glad you did.

Love this Food Lion. It's clean, customer service is wonderful. Friendly and helpful. Great selection of food and anything else that you would need. The meats are excellent quality as is their produce. Very wide selection throughout the store. I'm glad that they are so close to where we live.

Tonight reminded me there are still good ppl doing the hard work when absolutely no one wants to work anymore...cashier 0222 "on the recipient" cause I'm horrible at names was absolutely one of the nicest guys & two ppl stocking shelves were very kind & pleasant when it's more popular not to be. Security guard is always kind as well.

I love my food lion store but one complaint they need to have more employees working the register to get their customers in and out quickly and that's the main problem with this store

So, I look at today's incident as an anomaly, rather than the norm.

Erica was scanning my groceries, and informed me that she was out of postage stamps. She then directed me to the customer service kiosk.

I followed her directions, only to find the kiosk devoid of personnel. I waited.

A door opened across from the kiosk, and Temesha (sp) poked her head out and said, "Look at the sign."

I had previously read the hand-crafted signs indicating that the customer service desk was closed; however the services that were unavailable, according to the sign, were related to Western Union and the like.

When I tried to speak, she cut me off by saying again, "Read the signs."

Luckily, Terrell walked up, and I was able to complete my postage stamp purchase with him.

I'm disappointed with the rudeness Temesha exhibited. I pray that she's not always like that, that it was just bad timing in my part because of some stressful situation she was going through.

Store was very clean. Employees were very helpful and friendly. I was very impressed that this company uses local farmers for the produce that they sell. By doing this they are able to sell there produce at a really low price. By the way the produce is very fresh and tasty.

This foodlion is the most beautiful foodlion I have ever been 2. It is so clean and well kept. Every1 was so nice. Will definitely b shopping here.

I'm working nearby for a few months, staying in a hotel, but still gotta eat. So off to the nearest grocery store. This location is well stocked, well staffed. Shoppers were very cordial, too.

We had an unexpected conversation with a customer and at the checkout too the person there had me laughing constantly Crater road FL is the nicest store with tons of items available

Thank you for not leaving our city! I could drive anywhere to buy groceries. When the rest left and OTHERS REFUSED to come here, you closed your old store and opened a new bigger new one! Your store will get me anyrhing if asked. Thanks again for not giving up on our little town and providing great service!
