I was in need of a modern contemporary couch for my home. Bassett Furniture gave me exactly what I was looking for. Customer service is superb at the Sterling,VA location. Shazia Sharif was my design consultant. She was attentive, kind, and patient with me. She assisted me throughout the entire design process. I am truly grateful to have met her during this time of renovation in my home. I highly recommend her services. Her keen eye will get you exactly what you want. This was an amazing experience at Bassett in Sterling, picking out furniture with Design Consultant John Heinbaugh! He asked what we were looking for and then asked our current floor color/shade and rest of the colors in the room we would be working with, then he asked for measurements of the room. Then we started working on a color palette that would work well in the room based on the floor colors and the layout and our preference for furniture style. We ended up purchasing a bedroom set that looks amazing (consists of 4 furniture pieces) everything to the drawer handles colors are perfect. Just amazing, meeting John inspired me to look more into interior design and learn more about it, there is definite science and color balance involved and it shows when your working with a designer. Definitely a design experience my spouse and I enjoyed.

We placed a custom order with Basset in January 2023. The design consultant that helped us was Angela Rosenberg. The design experience was enjoyable and Angela provided a professional eye and kind feedback for every step of our process. She came to our home and assisted me with the arrangement and design of the pieces we wanted to purchase. We knew from the start that our order would take a while to be completed, and Angela communicated all delays as needed. We received our completed order in April 6, 2023. We were impressed with the quality and look of the final pieces. Prior to our delivery, an inspection was done at the warehouse and it was discovered that our tabletop had a slight flaw. A replacement tabletop was ordered immediately, and we were notified and given the choice to receive the lightly damaged table to use until the new table arrives. The delivery was professional and efficient. We ordered a couch, oversized chair, coffee table/ottoman and kitchen table with chairs. The fabric is phenomenal, and the cushions on the couch and chair are so comfortable. It was an expensive purchase that we don’t regret. You get what you pay for. We love all of our pieces and will definitely return to Bassett in the future.

I cannot say enough about our sales associate Laura Wilson. Not only was she incredibly knowledgeable and helpful during the purchase process, she went way above and beyond to help us months later when we needed guidance on the sleeper sofa we purchased. She even FaceTimed us to help make sure we were getting the information and a clear picture of how things should be. We will definitely go back to Bassett for our future furniture needs!

I had a great experience working with Abbe Beidas, design consultant, with Bassett. She helped me so much with our family room renovation project...she visited our home, created multiple 3D design layouts, identified the best furniture options, helped me select the best style, fabrics, rug and even shared accessory ideas. She was creative, patient, and very responsive to my requests. The rug and the furniture arrived this past week and I could not be happier! Thank you, Abbe, for all your help!

This is our first google review and the overall experience in Bassett Sterling store deserves it. We were shopping for sofa and dining set. After exploring multiple stores in the area, we decided to go with Bassett and very pleased with the decision. We were helped by Abbe! She is amazing. My girlfriend and I recently moved into the area and went to check out Bassett. When we went in, we were immediately greeted by Gia, who was outstanding! After helping other clients, she helped us pick out a sofa and area rug that would match our space perfectly. We weren't ready to buy that day, so we told her we would be back.

About 2 months later we went back in on Labor Day weekend with some more pieces in mind. Again, Gia was incredibly helpful and efficient. We finished checking out with our living room furniture, and she asked if we were considering anything else - I replied and said we were looking at the Bella bedroom set. Gia immediately rushed us upstairs to show us a Bella dresser that was on clearance. There was a nightstand that was also on clearance, and it just made sense to complete the set then and there.

Thru and thru, we walked out of there with everything we wanted, nothing more, nothing less. After getting home, we realized that what we bought might not fit on our wall (we were half an inch off), so Gia FaceTimed me and measured everything after closing to find some wiggle room in the furniture, which was there!

The remainder of the day after leaving, zero buyer's remorse, and after sleeping on it, still zero buyer's remorse. Gia and everybody at Bassett's Sterling store took great care of us!

Great customer service, I was helped by Angela. She went over all the options, and fabrics with me, and took the time to explain everything to me so that I understood everything.

My girlfriend and I were looking to buy new pieces for our living. Gia was so accommodating and helped us design the couch and sitting chair exactly how we wanted. Gia was patient, gave us her full attention, and has great taste. We will definitely come back for our future furnished.

Kelly Cain is amazing!! She is is a seasoned & knowledgeable decorator that helped us make our family room as well as other areas much more functional! She utilized & relocated furnishings that we already have to help maximize our spaces & make them more open! She is a consummate professional & is fantastic to work with:) We highly recommend her!!

We went in here to purchase a living room set. Our designer, Susan, was incredibly helpful with customization and listening to our needs. I can't wait for it to arrive in 12-14 weeks!

They are a really good designer furniture store. The best part though are the people on the floor. Although we didnt buy anything, the sales agent directed us to other stores that could carry what we wanted
