OR/ postpartum
We had our baby cia C-section in January and I have to say it was a wonderful experience. Our C-section was planned and everything went off perfectly. We were checked in on time, told us what to expect, got prepped and headed to the operating room. The staff was amazing. They made me feel very comfortable.
We were there for 3 days abs the staff on the postpartum floor were very caring. They made sure my pain was under control. They took my baby to the nursery when me and hubby needed rest. I had the same nurses every day and that was nice. They were very personable and relatable which is what I needed for those beginning days. I traveled from my hometown to this hospital and I’d pick them again and again

The people at this hospital are what makes INOVA Loudoun Hospital one of the best in the Northern Virginia area. Their response and empathy to care for each and every patient like you are a member of their family is comforting in times of stress.

My wife had pain in her stomach region late on Friday evening. The ER got us in right away and tested quickly. When it was determined to be gallbladder inflammation recommending that the gallbladder be removed, a game plan was developed.

You have to be prepared for Emergencies and this past weekend was no exception, pushing the procedure to this morning. You have to be patient. Thank you for a great experience and taking care of my wife.

Overall great experience in the ER!! Staff was personable and attentive. Caring and communicative. So grateful for them and the way they loved and served well our baby. Even with a snow storm taking place throughout the night (1/16/24). Staff also brought a lot of joy into a hard situation with the way they worked together and interacted with the baby along with my wife and I. Our nurse was Jenin, but it was her and the entire team that worked on our baby boy. Both in the ER and when we got admitted; it was a great experience.

Took care of my dad in the ICU. Everyone, nurse, doctors, volunteers, security, are willing to help, at anytime. Facility clean, ample free parking, waiting room chairs comfortable and charging stations available.

I had a procedure at Inova Loudoun Hospital this past week. Every single one of the staff members were so attentive, gentle, and went above and beyond. I felt cared for from the moment I checked in until the moment I left. Surgeries are dreadful and nerve wrecking, but the nurses, doctors, and everyone else made it as peaceful as it could have been. I could not have asked for a smoother experience. So thankful for these professionals and all that they do. They truly are such gems.

I am admitted to this hospital now . I am very amazed with the service I received from the great staff of this hospital, especially the young lady from Afghanistan who works at ER (sorry, I don't know her name),Ethiopian Lady Hana and very Great Lady Emma. Also, young man Hunter, who brought me from ER to the main hospital. I can't find a suitable word to thank the great staff of this hospital. I got a very good room also. Don't forget Taylor, Ciby,Maxine, and Maria, who are the very best.

Once again I was very impressed with the Inova Loudoun Hospital staff's professionalism, compassion and experience during my outpatient surgery within the past week. I highly recommend this hospital, which my family and I have used over the past 20+ years.

Just got out of surgery and all I can think of was how nice they were. I was in so much pain and yet they did their best to manage it! 10/10 staff from front office to OR to the nicest nurses at discharge

I couldn't wait to leave a review!! I'm leaving the parking lot now and all I can say is WOW!! THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BEDSIDE MANNERS EVER from registration, nurses that I encountered to get me set up in the prep room, both anesthesiologists, Dr. Wasan, Dr. Debbie, and discharge nurse!! What a wonderful experience! I went for an endoscopy and colonoscopy this morning.

I don't like hospitals but they calmed all my fears and worries!

Thank you Loudoun County Hospital!

Oh, I forgot even the security guard was pleasant!!

My brother needed medical attention, so we called an ambulance which brought him here. The ambulance was in no rush, perhaps to the point where if he needed to be here in a hurry, we might’ve had some issues, but that’s not a problem with the hospital; they promptly received him and brought him in for testing. Despite being in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, there were hardly any cars around and the signage for finding your way to the emergency room was rather poor (simple arrows on the pavement would’ve worked better than the signs they have). At the time visited, the only let one visitor at a time into hospital, as the pandemic was limiting what they could do. The grounds are quite large and nice, as I had to walk around when not able to visit inside. Every experience will differ due to the nature of injuries and requirements of visits, so don’t expect everything to be perfect.

I had a robotic myomectomy on June 16th at this hospital (south building). The mixed reviews here made me quite nervous. I had been praying to God to hand pick every single person on my pre-op, op and post-op team. And what an answer to prayer this hospital was!

Each one of these people listed below had the perfect combination of diligence and compassion, exactly what you need in a healthcare worker. Also, the entire building looked immaculate. I saw nothing that made this germo-phoeb nervous. And the My Inova Chart is great. Pathology report was released within 2 business days.

Patient Registration: Alice. Lovely lady. I met her at 6am and it was their first day of switching over to a new computer system but she remained calm and managed the whole process well.

Pre-Op: Mary (Phd Anesthesiology Student), Virginia (RN), Debbie (RN), Hannah (CRNA), Dr. Kelly Colingo (anesthesiologist), Nurse
Hope and Nurse Roy.

Post-Op Stage 1 Recovery: Nurse Jaymes

Post-Op Stage 2 Recovery: Nurse Alison and Nurse Breanna.

Special thanks to
1. Nurse Jaymes for taking care of me after the surgery in Stage 1 Recovery. His voice and tone were calming when I was incredibly cold and in pain. In my groggy, post anesthesia state, I kept asking for my husband repeatedly and he allowed him in and I’m very grateful for that. He didn’t just leave me there but responded to every comment and request I made which seemed like quite a lot!
2. Mary, a Phd anesthesiology student from pre-op who helped me feel relaxed before the surgery. Anesthesia would make any risk-averse person like me nervous since it is one step before death. And when Mary first introduced herself as an anesthesia student, in my head I was like “oh no!” But Mary was amazing. I don’t really go around throwing the words angelic or magical ever so this next comment feels bizarre to write. But in a strange way, she had an angelic face/countenance, very similar to one of my friends, that was very calming.

Thank you, Inova Loudoun for taking care of me.

I was recently admitted to the pediatric center at Inova Hospital and I just want to share my experience so that others know THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO TO!!!! Off the bat all of the nurses were so incredibly sweet and truly made my stay so easy and overall amazing!!! This was my first time ever staying the night at a hospital, let alone being admitted. All of the nurses understood how scared I was (especially because I was going to be put under anesthesia for the first time) Throughout my whole stay each nurse I had an encounter with made sure I felt safe, was doing okay, asked if I needed anything at all….. this made me feel so cared for and valued as a patient!!! At each second all of the nurses were all so attentive & made sure I was properly accommodated! I was always updated throughout each bit of my experience and was given so much information on how to take of my injury when discharged!!! I’m not usually one to leave reviews but I am truly so fortunate and thankful to have had such an amazing experience with my stay at Inova Loudoun Hospital!

My wife was admitted last week of August to STICU unit, we were there for close to a month. The nurses were very compassionate and kind. Words cannot express how grateful I and my family are to STICU staff. I gave them a nickname "ANGLES IN BLUE". They are truly angels, nurses went beyond what they were required to and they treated me like their own family member. I would like to personally thank nurse Yeji, Precious, Skyler, Shelby, Rachel, Megan, and Dearly. STICU has exceptional nurses working there. Once again thank you to all the STICU staff.

The pre-operation staff, Doctors, post operation staff and hospital staff were kind, professional and work tirelessly. They provided the best care for our patient and keep us informed about our patient's status at all time. It was very refreshing to see that staff and nurses actually were kindly calling me and providing updates without me calling them and asking what now?
It is obvious that they don't stop their care at treating their patients, but also they extend their care to the family members and effectively helping them to maintain calm during the stressful time while waiting for their loved ones in the waiting room.

I write this review with the deepest gratitude for the wonderful experience my wife and I had delivering our first child. From the time my wife was checked in during labor, to the delivery and the post-partum services; the staff at this hospital were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating to all our needs. A special shout-out to Dr. Christine George and Pediatric Nurses Cierra and Emma for their wisdom and insights!

Highly recommend this hospital for consideration to all expecting parents in Northern VA!

"Firstly, I extend my heartfelt appreciation to the doctors, nurses, and technicians, all of whom were consistently polite and thorough in their explanations. During my father's three-month admission and multiple surgeries, the doctors ensured we were well-informed, prioritizing surgery as the last resort. Special gratitude goes to the outstanding nurses in the ST-ICU, who meticulously attended to every detail with perfection, checking on my father regularly to ensure his comfort and prevent complications like blood clots. The nurses on levels 4 and 5 were equally amazing. I am profoundly thankful for the exceptional care provided at our hospital. I want to express special thanks to Kathrine and Erin for their amazing dedication. Additionally, Sujatha, the case manager, deserves immense praise for her exceptional efforts. When my father needed transportation back to Canada, she conducted thorough research, coordinated with the receiving hospital, and ensured everything was in place. Thank you all for the remarkable job you do!"

I’ve delivered a baby at this hospital and I must say both me and my husband were incredibly happy with the service. Nurse Helia at the delivery is the rockstar every woman in labor needs.

We arrived late on a Tuesday evening and every person treated our daughter with kindness and a sense of urgency. We didn't know she had fractured her nose in multiple places, we only knew she needed stitches and they gave her all the necessary checks and performed a CT scan quickly. @malloryduncan was her NP and did an amazing job finely stitching the cut on the side of her nose.

Can’t say enough good things about this hospital. We’ve been treated so well. I gave birth here and my 2 month old got a fever and had to be rushed to the ER. They were efficient, polite, kind, and attentive. Highly highly recommend this hospital for neonatal and pediatric needs!!!
