Casa Tequila Mexican Restaurant

We were up visiting from NY and ate here. The food was excellent. The service was excellent and it was a nice clean restaurant. Best Mexican food that I have ever had. Would highly recommend .

Delicious food. I ordered the enchiladas and taco and the food arrived fast and was yummy. The frozen margarita was delicious as well!

Although the order got a little messed up, the food was good. The service could have been better.

I have been wanting to come to casa tequila for almost 2 years now but never had the chance to do so till today. I decided to finally go for the very first time with my sister and our kids and we immediately fell in love. The restaurant itself is really pretty and we enjoyed the location. We went in got sat and immediately got offered our drinks. We started off with a choriquezo that is not on the menu but they were kind to still provide it for us. It came out really hot and it was absolutely delicious we all enjoyed it very much. Chips and salsa were also very tasty. For my meal I ordered the enchiladas Ala crema with chicken absolutely amazing. All of our food came out piping hot. My sister and our children also enjoyed their meal. Service was really great as well, very friendly ladies. We will definitely be coming back again. Only thing wrong is that it felt really hot inside but maybe it's because of the weather outside lol other than that awesome place.

Very good and fast service and very good food. The portions are large! The place is very cozy. The people are very friendly and helpful! The menu is vast for all tastes.

There are plenty of Mexican restaurants here in Highlands County, but for me this one is the best. Casa Tequila produces some of the best tasting Mexican dishes I have ever had the pleasure of trying. I always start out with chips and queso, but the highlight of my meal is the “Super Burrito with Shredded Beef”. 10/10 would highly recommend give Casa Tequila a try!

Absolutely incredible food to me. The mahi burrito will just make you smile, It’s so good. But I have to tell you that I had the shrimp tacos and they were incredible as well. Good stuff.

One of the best restaurants in Lake Placid, I've been to quite a few of them. We try to come here every time we are in town. Great service and I love the screened in outside seating. Food is decent and portions are hardy. I recommend the queso for appetizer and enchiladas for an entrée. This is a 5 star for Lake Placid, however, anywhere else that I travel to I may have given it a 4. In terms of authentic Mexican, they tend to lean a little more towards the typical Americanized Mexican restaurant food but are very rooted in fresh spices, cilantro, and bold Mexican flavors.

I love this place. We have plenty of Mexican options in Sebring but I drive the 30 minutes to Casa Tequila because it's that good! The flavors are amazing. The tea is good. They have best Jalapeño poppers. The Chimicanga is the best in Highlands. Highly reccomend.

WE HAD MY MOM'S 90TH BIRTHDAY PARTY THERE ON 12-2-23 LUPITA MADE A SPECIAL MENU FOR THE EVENT. SHE DID AN AMAZING JOB. SHE EVEN MATCHED THE TABLE CLOTHS THAT WE WERE USING. LUPITA AND STAFF WERE QUICK AND EFFICIENT WITH THE ORDERS AND THE MENU. FOOD WAS DELISH!!! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS AMAZING RESTAURANT NOT ONLY FOR DINNER BUT FOR LARGE PARTIES AS WELL. THANK YOU LUPITA AND STAFF FOR AN AMAZING NIGHT!!!

The service was phenomenal. The waitress did a fabulous job multitasking the amount of tables she had. The food was fresh and delicious. Best pinea coladas! 10/10 would recommend

You can get a 32 ounce draft beer here - like Dos Equis or Modelo - that you'll want to lift with two hands.

Me and my husband love going to Casa Tequila any time we go to Lake Placid to visit family. The food and service is always good. The atmosphere is nice, but the place is always busy once the sun starts going down. The margaritas there are great and pretty big, which is a good bang for your buck.
They moved locations since the last time we visited, but the new location is nice, and if you do go around dinner time, before the sun goes down, you get a nice sunset view.

The faija trio was big enough for my husband and I. Great service, super quick and hot food! Best Mexican restaurant in Highlands county! Hands down, their homemade salsa and chips are to die for. Fresh food and a friendly atmosphere make this place a popular destination. Props to the owners for providing such quality service and food!
