Kids Dominion Park (Private community only)

We love kids dominion! We go often. We love the lion water fountain, the free little library, the shaded picnic tables and fenced playground. There are also 2 different play areas for different age groups and a 2 person swing for those who cant swing along or just want to swing with their kids. Great way to run the energy out of your kids in a safe environment. Parking is tough on popular days but we walk with friends most of the time. Unfortunately I didnt take a picture of the whole structure. There is a 3 level tower that kids can slide down.

Fun little park in Montclair. Fenced, so great for younger children. During summer months, they check recreation IDs, so only Montclair residents and guests are admitted. However, outside of summer, noIDs are checked. Has a tire swing, regular swings, and lots of slides big and small. Lots of climbing equipment and a few items reminiscent of MarioWorld. A gazebo wth picnic tables, a little lending library, and part of an adult exercise course round out this park. My toddler loves it.

Excellent fenced in park to relax and let the kids enjoy themselves. Well shaded with lots of swings and slides! Has picnic tables so we had our own little picnic with hotdogs ☺

The kids and I always enjoy running around this park which we refer to as the lion park due to a water fountain shape. My only complaint is that it is hard for an almost 40 year old to make it to all the spots quick enough to catch the kids when playing tag. Also, the tight turns on slides are fun, but try to not get your legs caught on the way down. Not a worry for the kids though.

Nice park for the Montclair neighborhood and has plenty of seating. Kids love playing there and the the equipment is in pretty good shape. I’m not particularly fond of the benches inside the gated area since one of them is so tall it’s quite uncomfortable to sit on.

Our kids love this playground! It's wonderful that it's fenced off and they have a great picnic area to eat.

Beautiful, small park, surrounded by trees, has many different slides and obstacles for toddlers and older children.

This place is amazing, clean, and beautiful. I also like the fact that it has legitimate jungle gyms and other climbing and balancing equipment that would be fun and challenging even for older kids instead of just sticking with the same overly safe, boring equipment that most playgrounds have today. However, it is also a PRIVATE PLAYGROUND for people in the Montclair community ONLY. You have to be a homeowner in the community, pay the rec fee, register to use it, display the decal when you park there, and check in with the recreational guard (yes, I kid you not, this playground has a GUARD!) on duty, *and* you can only let your child(ren) play there when there's a guard on duty. We're on a loooooong road trip and our 4yo desperately needed a wiggle break, this place looked awesome on Google maps, and it's right off of I-95, so we stopped. We had no clue that it was PRIVATE. Maybe one of the other reviews says so, but I only had time to glance through the pics and note the aggregate 5 stars from other reviewers (reading in a moving vehicle makes me car sick). If anyone who is a community member reads this, please contact Google or ask someone on the board to do so and update the listing for this playground so that other parents don't make the same mistake.

I love that this park is almost always shaded due to the trees! There is an adorable mommy and me swing and lots of space fore kids to run, climb and have fun!! One of our top favorite parks in the area!

Grest place for members to bring there kids. The 12 and under rule needs to be better enforced. I've seen teenagers climb on the outside of the green tube slide to the top several times. Not only is this dangerous and stupid it also is setting a bad example for the little kids who want to try and emulate.

Great variety of high quality play gear.

Good park for Montclair residents amd their guests. Well maintained. My son prefers this park and its a no brainer why. Its a palace of excellent playground equipment.

This place is amazing and I have been going there my whole life. The big BUT is that it is only for Montclair residents!
