I struggled with my pools water chemistry for far too long trying to figure out everything through my own research. I finally decided it was beyond me and let the professionals at pinch-a-penny take over.
The employees I met in the store were knowledgeable about their products and the issues I was dealing with and had my pool issues resolved within the week.

Pinch-A-Penny, Sanford on I-46, did a great job with my pool. 1st, Andrew (owner) repaired my 4 yr old Zodiac MX8 pool cleaner. He is a jenious (Genious) with these & it is now working like new. Next, I purchased a Hayward CL 200 chlorinator to replace a worn out Nature 2. Jason (pool repair expert) came to do the replacement (no leaks), & also did an excellent installation. Highly recommend for any pool repair or maintenance you need to be done right at a fair price.

Jason at Pinch a Penny saved the day!!! They are so knowledgeable and caring there. My pool was in a crisis less than 24 hours before I had a Grad Party at my house and Jason gave me the perfect solution/Super Shock recommendation that 100% fixed my pool prior to the party!!!! I was so relieved to see the pool turn crystal clear blue the morning of my party. It was for sure a HUGE relief to see it had turned just in time. For sure "saved the day" for me. It was so important that it was good for this day and he cared enough to listen to me and know how to fulfill our needs. 100% recommend this locationm.

I am thrilled to have this type of service nearby. I am one of those who loves the thought of doing my own maintenance despite the issue of not knowing any part of what I'm doing. Everyone at the Pinch a Penny on 46 has been fantastic. Ellen or Bill usually check my water and guide me on what I should do but in all honesty, everyone I've dealt with inside the store has been exceptional. A special shout out to Jacob and Rafael for going above and beyond in helping me out. Jacob volunteered to come to my house to help me remove my salt cell to have it checked and Rafael came back to install it so I would have it for the fourth of July weekend. I honestly feel that every employee I've met comes across as if they have ownership. It's something you don't see very often these days.

We've been going to Pinch a Penny in Sanford on 46 to have our water tested and to buy our pool supplies for 5 years now. We've always loved them as they are always so friendly and helpful to all of us. Last month our pool pump stopped working and when we called them, they sent someone out to look at it for FREE. They took the part they needed to the store to repair it, and were going to use a part from another motor to fix it for free. We ended up needing a whole new motor, but were blown away by their Amazing customer service. They worked overtime coming over to help us and we are so very grateful! If you're looking for a reliable, helpful and wonderful pool supply store, look no further! They are the BEST! :)

The Pinch a Penny in Sanford is awesome. They are very knowledgeable and have servant hearts. Jacob, my technician has gone above and beyond in providing the equipment I need at a fair price and servicing my pool.
Andrew the owner has been tremendous. I inherited a pool with some issues and he has been incredibly helpful. He and Jacob worked on my pool till almost midnight one night to get it up and running for me because I had friends from out of town coming in for a weekend.

I can’t say enough about how awesome the folks are over at Pinch a Penny in Sanford, especially Andrew. We have had some fairly significant issues with our salt cell and pool pump over the last year. Each and every time Andrew was quick to respond, communicative about what he found when he looked at our equipment and diligent on his follow-up and repairs. I also want to give a shout out to Jandy who worked closely with Andrew to facilitate the repairs and even hooked us up with some free parts due to our ongoing issues. Thanks Andrew and PaP.

So glad I switched to this company for my pool service. They do a great job and show up consistently. I tried two other companies before and Pinch a Penny is by far the best. Been using for about 6 months now and I am very pleased.

Pinch a Penny at Sanford on 46 is a great place for all your pool problems. I work w them for years.. always precise, helpful and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this store and group! Andrew knows what he is doing and does not hesitate to spend time on his knees to solve bad pump / actuator problems, dripping pipe issues.!I am just thankful.

Run by a pair of transplanted father and son Wisconsiners who have you and your pool's welfare in mind. I was helped by 'Bree' who is fantastic at keeping the customers smiling while delivering sound guidance on pool care. I'm a regular so I now know them as friends. If you are a frantic Floridian like me, they may seem a little too calm. I attribute that to their still-thawing-out blood. Shop there; they are good people. Fair prices, good advice.

Great place for everything pool related. Pat and the rest of the staff treats everyone as family. Excellent value. They let you know when if/when discounts on products you're considering will be on sale. If you get on their mailing list, you can get extra discounts.

Had some issues with my salt system on my pool and these guys have been great helping me diagnose not just the chemical levels, but the functioning of the systems and the cell. Great advice and friendly people.
