Unfortunately in February I had a horrific accident in my pride and joy a 1961 Chrysler Imperial. I thought it to be irreparable! After calling a few of my car enthusiast friends Torque was the place most said to take it. My insurance company Hagerty also recommended them so I went to Torque Classis Cars and I’m so glad I did! I met with owner Ruben Navarro and we went over the damages to the Imperial. Ruben knew the severity of the damage and without hesitation said he would take on the job and that everything would be ok. At a moment when one is dealing with so much heartache due to the accident those words could not of been any more welcoming! He picked up the car the same day and I was immediately relieved to not have to see my car mangled in my driveway. I knew there was a long road ahead due to the extent of the damage but I also knew it was in the right hands! As the work began Ruben and his team kept me informed of the progress and I actually felt part of the Imperials process which I was grateful for. Torques team of professionals even corrected errors done to my car from previous and extremely costly restorations! The team took pride in the work they do and it reflects on the results they accomplished! I knew I had made the right decision bringing the car to them! Needless to say, when I received my Pride and Joy back it exceeded all my expectations! It was honestly even better than before! Since the return of my car I’ve been able to enter several Car Shows and have even received trophies that I proudly shared with the Torque team. I would definitely recommend Torque, Ruben, and his team for any kind of work to your car! You will not be disappointed!

In early March I flew from Seattle to Florida to test drive this 280sl. I met Ruben and many of his team. I was very impressed with their operation. Their shop was spotless and well organized.
I fell in love with the car, commited to buy and flew home. Our plan was to fly back and finalize the deal but COVID changed that. Ruben and I communicated a great deal over the next couple months. I really came to like him and trust him. I took a leap of faith, sent him the money and he delivered our baby.
I had it completely inspected at Seattle Mercedes Benz. They were very impressed with the car. They told me that whoever worked on the car really knew what they were doing. They were very thorough and cut no corners. Not only does she look fantastic but runs so true and strong.

I have never seen such beautiful work and such an immaculate shop! Ruben is a delightful person with whom to conduct business and a top-notch restorer. He has searched and found an original part for my car that was quite difficult to locate! The transport that picks up my car and returns it is very impressive with air-conditioning in the trailer to protect the cars. I wish there were a way to give more than five stars! Just pre-COVID I had the pleasure of meeting Ruben Navarro at Torque Classic Cars facility to view a 63 Corvette, part of his inventory. Even though we didn’t have an appointment, Ruben couldn’t have been more accommodating touring us through the various departments, meticulous throughout. Not knowing whether I was just another tire kicker, Ruben took the car out of storage put it up on a lift and had one of his mechanics go over the details of the car with me. I have since purchased that vehicle, and had Ruben’s paint shop do a repair and paint to a fender, matching paint perfectly. I couldn’t be happier with the job and the overall experience. It is my pleasure to recommend Ruben & his shop for any of your collector car needs.

I brought my 1967 Mustang to Ruben in a state of disarray and in desperate need of repair. The hood was not seated correctly, it needed paint, my transmission needed rebuilt, a new battery, new shocks, fluids....I think I also brought it in without any gas. I’m honestly very meticulous and particular especially and I can say with great praise that Ruben and his team exceeded all expectations. Ruben kept me informed along the way, stuck to the budget we discussed, went above and beyond and met me after hours to pick it up. VERY TRUSTWORTHY and reliable. I look forward to stopping by from time to time to see what he’s working on. This man is an artist.

My wife and I turned over our beloved 1957 Mercedes Benz 190SL roadster to Torque Classic Cars a short time ago. We picked it up today. Wow ! What a fantastic transformation of the fuel and carburetor system ! The car has NEVER driven this smoothly at all speeds and no more stalls or bucking in the 25-40 MPH range. Went in for a tour today. Several makes and models is various stages of restoration and repair, all being addressed as individual customers' projects. All being professionally worked by the best around. Interior, engine work, paint, bright work, and functionality all being done to meet costomers' needs. Wonderful place to do business with.
