You don’t have to worry about getting ripped off or taken advantage of here, these guys are great. They have 1000% gained customers for life between me and my mother. I brought my Honda in for an AC recharge, and they checked for leaks. They were upfront with their time frame, fair pricing, and expectations. After I let the dye run through my car for a few days to check for a leak, it took less than 5 minutes for them to diagnose that I didn’t have a leak. I’m very satisfied with my service and would definitely come back.

Brought my 2018 Honda civic in for a basic oil change and both Christopher’s went above and beyond during my visit. They had went ahead and added air to my tires without me asking, as well as changed my wiper fluid for me as I didn’t even know it was empty. Both are true stand up gentleman and I can tell they love to help people and do their best.

Top notch customer service. They had my AC working and flowing with nice cold air. Timely service but most important, they stood by their warranty. It is the only automotive AC shop that will get my business. Thank you so much!!!

This place is great. The guys here are well experienced and go out of their way to provide excellent service and show they truly care. My vehicle has 255k+ miles on it and some electrical parts were starting to go. I started taking my Mazda3 here because they are reasonably priced and don’t try to nickel and dime you for everything like the last chop shop I took it too that burned a hole in my pocket. They are very busy and are often overbooked and things can sometimes take a couple days but it’s worth it dealing with people that are down to earth and don’t b.s. you and get the job done at a fair price. I would definitely recommend them and will be back.

This is the place to take your car for any maintenance in the downtown St.Pete area! The owners are friendly, understanding and willing to work toward a common goal. The service was affordable and effective. Everything we needed worked on was fixed.

I have been to a lot of auto shops and this place blows the rest out of the water! They are amazing. The owner Chris and his son are extremely professional and very good at their craft when it comes to cars. You can tell they have a passion and truly love what they do. They got me in mid day for what I thought what a major issue and they fixed my truck right up and had it back to me before 5. I will be coming back again and highly recommend this place to anyone in need of anything auto!

These guys did my compressor in 2019; the price was better than other shops locally and they did a great job. I just returned to have my condenser replaced; I'm very happy with the work they did. Chris & his team showed me so much kindness and as a bonus the turnaround was quick.

I took my car in for a free estimate to diagnose the AC problem I was having. After the shop inspected the AC they determined the issue. I went around to a few other shops to gain more insight into the issue or a 2nd opinion. Other shops priced it potentially higher to fix, some were a bit lower, but in the end I felt most comfortable going into Ice Cold Air and dealing directly with Chris the owner. I came back in unannounced months later (no appointment) and that day the place was so busy. But Chris remembered me, and I left the car not expecting to get it back that day. 4PM and Chris was on the phone - come get your car , all set!
When I went in to pay for the AC, he asked me about a totally separate unrelated issue he and his mechanic tech had noticed that I had been having with the car. The starter. I originally took it to the local Mercedes expert who'd put a new starter in the car, and even with that the car was still having a long crank (6-10 seconds of cranking) to get the car to start. Chris and his mechanic immediately diagnosed the issue, ordered and installed the part and fixed this totally unrelated issue that had been plaguing me for ever ! Even better yet, he said to me - don't worry about it, I fixed it for you for NO CHARGE. I was overwhelmed!
They did it because of their mechanical knowledge/expertise and I would say strive for just excellent customer service. My impression was they're just great guys who love what they do and if they can help a customer - they will.

Things don’t always go your way. That is especially true of car maintenance. 2012 Camaro was having a/c issues. The shop was busy after a holiday weekend, but the great team at Ice Cold Air was able to take care of a compressor replacement same day. I also needed my front struts replaced and had been putting it off. The team offered to take care of the work at a discount, as they would rather my ride to be safe than me to worry about my wallet. Also noticed a poor recent oil change and provided me a complimentary full synthetic, which can be costly. The next day I was called to pick up the car. Before arriving, the team called to say that after one more a/c test, they found an additional a/c issue. The dreaded Camaro blend door was busted, which required a complete dash and windshield removal. Their talented tech was able to avoid this ridiculously labor intensive project with a clever workaround, saving me over $1200 for a $60 part, which the shop agreed to do all at no cost to me. Then they slapped some free windshield wipers on my car since the rainy season is upon us. No situation is perfect, but if you are looking for local mechanics who care more about you than your money, I would say they are more than reasonable and I found them extremely polite to work with. Thank you all again for making my car feel new again!
