Fleet Feet Winston-Salem

A coworker recommended getting fitted for shoes here. My first time experience was great! I was greeted right away and paired with Victor to guide me through the process. The equipment used to analyze my feet was cleaned before and after my use. I had very little knowledge of what I wanted in a shoe but after my assessment Victor was happy to suggest what might work! I was able to settle on a pair of shoes and over a month later I am very happy to say they are still the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn! I am on my feet and moving a lot for work and my knees and lower back have definitely benefited from shoes that are right for my foot support needs! The price is more than what I have paid in the past for shoes but after some research the price was the same as buying the shoes from the brands website but the experience and guidance made it well worth getting fitted in person!

Alex was AMAZING!!!! I have had such difficulty in the past with shoe fittings and foot pain and he was a me to describe to me where it was coming from and work to select shoes that would correct the issue. He was a delight to be around very friendly and focused on getting you shoes, insert, socks, etc that worked for you!!! Would 1000% recommend

In my first visit, she (I think her name was Bethany) scanned my walking, checked out my running in a couple of inserts, then emailed me
information about my fit.
I ran out of time and came back the next day to try on shoes, another staff member (I think his name was Alex) checked out my walking, reviewed my fit information (saved from the previous day), and recommended a few different shoes to try running on the treadmill. He was knowledgeable in the shoes' specs and offered perspective from his experience in some of the shoes.

Overall, I was impressed that in each visit, I left knowing more than I did when I walked in and felt confident in purchasing new types of shoes.

I would recommend setting aside 45-60 minutes for the full experience of scanning, consultation, fitting, and purchase.

The wife and I went in searching for better shoes for work this evening. We were met immediately by a younger fella wanting to help us. He offered scans for both but only I got one. After serious trauma to the left foot/ankle, I thought it would be helpful for me and I was amazed at the technology we have these days. We had a brand in mind and his knowledge of what fit us was different than that and boy was he right. He let us try what we had in mind and then his recommendations based off of talking to us, finding out our habits and conditions and including the result of my scan. We left with the shoes he recommended and it was a very pleasant experience for us both. I'll update if his recommendations don't work out for the long run but I bet I won't have to. Definitely recommend giving them a shot.

The service at this store is amazing. Every time we have been there, we have received service with knowledgeable and interested staff. We felt like we were talking with a friend about what the best walking/running shoes for us was. Patient, kind, always making sure we were happy with our purchases. We will continue to drive from Asheboro to shop here because the service and prices are the best.

I brought my sister in to Fleet Feet to get properly fitted for walking shoes. She is older and walks at the Y at least three times weekly. I was having a very difficult time get her some “comfy yet proper” shoes. Darlene greeted us and life was great from then on. Darlene was very knowledgeable, kind, patient, and detail oriented, I could go on and on. We never felt like we were being pushed or urged to buy anything. She made sure my sister tried different shoes and that she selected what was best for her feet. Thank You, Thank you Thank you, Darlene, and Fleet Feet. Definitely worth it!!

I was looking for new shoes as my podiatrist recommended Fleet Feet for shoe fitting. Harrison was fabulous! He was knowledgeable, patient and had me try on a lot of shoes with effective suggestions including determining I had been wearing a half a shoe size too big. I found my shoes and am very pleased with the service and selection!

Great place to get your running and fitness gear. Fleet Feet has a very knowledgeable staff, most of whom are active people and athletes with good experience and real world knowledge. They know their products well, which then helps you to be better informed so you can get the right shoes/gear/clothing for you. A certain shoe may get great reviews, for instance, but if it does not fit your foot properly it is not going to do you any good. They do a really good job of sorting through that type of scenario, as an example. When I first started going to Fleet feet probably 15 years ago, they were the first running store I had been to that basically insisted that I go run outside in the parking lot with their shoes on, because otherwise I would not really get a proper feel for how that shoe would do on my particular foot with my particular gait. That was super helpful in steering me towards the right shoe. That experience impressed me a lot then, and they continue to deliver. It is also great to support local! Really good people make up their team, through and through - highly recommended.

The staff is knowledgeable, and they take the time to make sure you are fitted correctly with appropriate shoes. Running shoes are expensive--everywhere--but the real difference is in fit and function which you will get here. They are my "go-to" location, and I routinely send new runners there who report great experiences. Well done!

Fleet Feet is a one stop shop for all your running needs. From clothing, to shoes, accessories, GPS watches, and fuel, Fleet Feet will help you find exactly what you need to keep you comfortable while running. And if they don't have it, they'll help you order it! They even have group runs a few times throughout the week if you want some company on your runs! The staff is wonderfully helpful. I went in to get a pair of new running shoes, but the people who help with shoe fittings were all busy. So I scheduled an appointment for another day. (The Clemmons location is less busy, and you might get away with walking in for a shoe fitting, but I'd still recommend scheduling a shoe fitting ahead of time). Both locations use technology to measure feet and analyze weight distribution when walking! I learned that my feet are a whole size smaller than what I'd thought!! Unfortunately they didn't have any shoes that would fit my super small and super wide feet, but they helped narrow down the shoes that are available in my specific size, and helped me order them. My new shoes are being delivered to my house sometime today! I can't wait to go for a run in a perfectly fit shoe :) I'm so thankful for their expertise in helping me find the perfect running shoe!

Bethany was amazing!! She understood how painful achilles tendinitis is and found the perfect shoe for me. I never felt rushed. My shoes are perfect. The entire experience was easy.

I want to commend Alex to this store’s manager! You have an exceptional employee in him! He was so knowledgeable on the “science” of shoe fitting and products. He helped my husband who recently had a hip replacement find just the “right” combination of support and comfort. We were both impressed with his technique. Overall, excellent customer service via Alex!

Went to buy supportive shoes as I had recently had an X-ray revealing a foot issue. Caleb ensured I had the right support, was very knowledgeable, didn’t rush me and answered all my questions. The store did not have the shoe I needed in the color I wanted so he ordered it online and had it shipped to my house and made sure it was right before I left. My mom was with me and he helped us find the right style and support of socks as well. No pushy upsell, just genuine concern for our needs and superior customer service, which is rare these days!

Fleet Feet of Winston Salem is the best place to find athletic shoes that fit the need for customers. They take the tine to assess every aspect of the foot and find the perfect shoe and insole, if needed. I have some issues and the salesperson went above and beyond t find the right pair of shoes for me. I will return!

We went to Fleet Feet to buy some shoes for my husband who has planter fictitious. The staff was amazing!! They took their time with him and gave him multiple options and listened to him. I would highly recommend this store!

Great place for athletic or everyday wear shoes! They have great customer service offering assistance right when you walk in. I also would recommend you sign up for their rewards program to get points on every purchase!
