I always loved coming here when they were fully open for a glass of rose after work and some awesome music! Now that they are doing takeout I’ve had it twice and both times it has been AMAZING! My boyfriend and I tried the veal blanquette last time and loved it. This time we went for the calamari and the half Cornish hen and again we were blown away! You can’t find better food for the portion and the price and the FLAVOR!! Highly recommend to all for a delicious meal without all the clean up from cooking yourself :)

Unbelievably good bar , disco on Saturdays is a great vibe. Great bar man also very friendly and chatty. Great drinks 😂

Comedy nights on Tuesdays are ridiculously fun with an excellent host!
Reggae night on Fridays is also an excellent party.
House music on Saturdays are a must if you like the vibe but don't like tight-packed clubs downtown.

Bar staff is very friendly and efficient.

Food is out of this world best fries you will ever taste I love it they have edm house music on Thursday and Saturday comedy on Tuesday a band on Wednesday and Friedan is a packed reggae night! The food here is probably the best I’ve ever had!

Excellent drinks, really cool backyard and great food. I go there several times a week and always enjoy the live music they provide. Make sure to try the banh mi burger and the charcuterie plate. don't miss out on the petanque field and the foozeball table. Very casual and easy going spot

Petanque recently started to offer some delicious classic French dishes to pick up at their location. We ordered the veal blanquette which was exquisite and flavorful as you can see on the picture. Portion is good. Do not think twice and get yourself some French treats and vibes. Bon appétit!

Want a unique, fun place? From the front it’s a store front, but in the back is the party!! The most diverse crowd I’ve ever seen: hip, older white couples, to young black adults, to other Hispanics like me. We go for their amazing burgers and fries, nooo ketchup. The owners are French and have a variety of dips available that are also tasty. Stay for the music and the vibe.

Great food with vegetarian options. Open air bar and dinning area in the back with nightly events and a full bar. This place is open late and one you must check out if you haven’t been yet.

Petanque is my jam! Always such a pleasure to go to my favorite bar in WPB and have a reunion with all my people! You guys are awesome!

Fabulous hideaway! Amazing atmosphere filled with eclectic crowd! Food was like eating at a friends house.. incredibly homemade and tasty. This place is a gem for a good time with a mixture of delicious food,solid music and fascinating people. Just a solid place to be yourself and have a wonderful time!

Because we got there early we were able to have some seats together for a group work outing and it was incredible! The DJ was amazing outside was like a fairy land and the drinks were awesome! By being all night long on a Friday night with reggae! Go here if you can!

This space holds the heart of Northwood. Without these darling friendly, entrepreneurs, there wouldn't be a place where people of all walks and surroundings could gather. The food is incredible, and the experience is not quite like any other. Petanque feels like home, you're welcome, well fed, and better yet... You are transported from a simple street environment into a grand back yard gathering. Take time to order your drinks, feel the friendliness of the bartenders. Visit again, and know that you're welcome and appreciated. Petanque is a great place. I recommend you visit. Have an absinthe or three. You'll find it's a wonderful place to be.
