The employees here are always very friendly and accommodating. I enjoy coming to this location and they are always wonderful with my toddler also. The line usually moves quick (of course it’s busy before the holidays like any other location so you can’t complain about that) and I never had an issue. Would definitely recommend this branch to everyone.

The downtown post office has plenty of free parking at the post office parking lot. The lot is bright at night. The parking lot has two large mailboxes that you can mail letters to small packages. One, which is by the building entrance, you have to get out of the car the other is at the parking lot exit onto Carroll street and it has a chute so there is no need to get out of the car. The post office has interior mailboxes, postage kiosk machines, one in the foyer and two by clerk windows. There are also P.O. boxes and tables to set packages on. There are two clerk windows. Opposite the clerk windows are cards for every occasion that you can purchase. Clerk lines are semi long but move pretty quickly, although best to use kiosk machines. The machines and the clerks take all kinds of credit cards. The entire post office is clean and handicap accessible.

I really love the friendliness of the staff and how quickly they always run through options yet streamline the process where they can. I am an Etsy seller, so I ship often. This is a new location for me, and the only one in Maryland I trust. I've had FCM from Owings Mills take 7 months. Here they honor the speed every time.

I was only in there for about 20 minutes and the prices were great.

Just went today to send a package and they didn't mind at all helping me out with my label. Their staff were the most friendly and professional that I've seen at a post office. I will definately recommend this place. I didn't stay in line at all. Like all businesses, when you go at their peak hrs, there will be a line, which is completely normal. Thank you guys👍

While I understand some peoples’ frustrating experiences with USPS, the individual employees at this location helped me big time with an issue with such kindness and aptitude that it helped restore some of faith in humanity.

The clerk at the post office at 201 E. Patrick Street, Peter G., was very respectful, polite and nice. He ASKED ME which stamp I wanted for the letter I was mailing which I sincerely appreciate because it was a with sympathy card for a family member who had just lost his wife. The two styles of stamps that were closest to the register were “Celebration“ and “Celebrate” stamps, so had he not asked me and just thrown any old stamp on there that could’ve looked like a very sarcastic joke and hurt my Uncles feelings as he is now a widow. Thanks for being THOUGHTFUL Peter G. Great customer service matters!

I love this post office. However no matter what time of day you go there, it is always a wait and I can expect to be in the for a minimum of 20 minutes. Not a good place to go to if you have a time constraint

Even when there's a significant line, staff go out of their way to help. They are knowledgeable and courteous. I go out of my way to use this post office.
