West Frederick Veterinary Hospital

I brought my cat in for our first time and it felt very welcoming :) Our doctor listened and genuinely cared for my cat. It was very sweet and comforting. Check in and check out were straight forward and I will be recommending them to all my friends.

West Frederick has been taking care of our dog for almost 12 years now. All the doctors and staff have been great. As he has had problems this year, they have really helped in trying to diagnose and help our pet. We are grateful for their attention, care and support.

Our pup, Baxter, has been seeing West Frederick for several months. They have been nothing but great to him and very helpful and responsive over phone calls to help with our concerns. Unfortunately, Baxter got sick and couldn't keep anything down - West Frederick took him in, same day, for emergency surgery and they even stayed past closing time, on a snowy night, just to make sure he got the care he needed. Five stars all around! Can't recommend their expertise and hospitality enough!

We love the vets and vet techs at West Fredrick Vet. They take very good care of our cats. Dr Hill and Dr Smith are very smart, thoughtful, and kind.

Everyone at West Frederick Veterinarian office is extremely friendly! We have been bringing our fur babies to this office for 15+ years. All the Veterinarian's have been friendly, explains things throughly, and never pushes you into a test your animal doesn't need.

Everyone is always so nice and helpful. I know I can always depend on Dr. Hennings to take good care of my fur babies.

Moved to Frederick and needed to find a new vet. So glad we went with West Frederick! Our smaller pup, Charlie, has a lot of anxiety and needed a muzzle at our previous vet for vaccines. He didn’t need one for his first visit here and even seemed happy after. Glad our boys are in good hands! Staff was welcoming and professional.

We have been taking our babies to West Frederick for some time now, and we ALWAYS get EXCELLENT care and service. The doctors are awesome and the staff is AWESOME!!! They love all pups that come through their office, but it makes Bear and Thor seem special on each visit as they are kidnapped and spoiled by the staff!! The minute Bear sees the turn to the office, he gets super excited, and looks for Dr. Hiller!!! He LOVES everyone there and the treats!!!
Bear (aka Trouble 1) :) has been going there since he was 4 or 5 weeks old,(now 17 months) he is an English Chocolate Lab and a busy one at that, and every time he gets into mischief the staff is there to help since I am a helicopter Mom, they have always been there to reassure me Bear will be Ok. His last visit was for neutering and they were REALLY a HUGE help since I was not sure as to what to expect and they were there to answer all of my concerns!!!! THANK YOU!!! Dr. Smith did a WONDERFUL job and Bear has been cleared to resume all of his activities!!! I am EXTREMELY pleased and happy that we chose West Frederick Veterinary for our babies, Marco, Polo, and Shadow, and now our newest babies Bear and Thor!!!! Thank you ALL!!!

Everyone was so kind and so friendly. I love that all recommended tests and charges were explained and the price was given before any procedures started (why don't they do this for humans??). I genuinely felt listened to and it was very obvious that everyone that worked at the vet's office loved animals. I'll definitely be returning.

Hi Everyone. 😁 Ashley & Kris here. I’ve been bringing my dog Nala (2yr. Old white boxer) to west Frederick vet since she was 8 weeks old. She has seen 3 of their doctors and they are all great. Her recent and first visit with Dr. Keith krebs was Awesome. He was so good with her, my fiancé said . We will do our best to have her see dr. Krebs from now on if it’s possible. She seems to listen better with males. Thanks for caring for her as much as we do!😁

I have been going to West Frederick Vet for a few years with multiple dogs. We had to have one put down in Feb 2022, and they were beyond kind to us. Taking the time for us to process and making it comfortable for payment and just the entire process. They really do care! Just took our new puppy in the other day and they were so gentle and kind. I have used 3 other vets in the Fred/Wash Co area, and they have been the best by far!

Great vets that take the extra effort to give the best treatment. They cost a bit more, but are well worth the extra.

I have been going to West Frederick Veterinary Hospital for many years now. Dr. Elizabeth Hennings is an excellent vet who is always willing to listen. She is very caring and always professional. I feel confident in this practice. Everyone there has always given my pets the best of care. They are the best!

Great service overall. I was able to quickly get an appointment. The Vet, vet tech's and entire staff were very caring and attentive to my concerns. We have been taking our dogs to West Frederick for over 20 years, and have always had a great experience there. Your pet will be in wonderful hands here!

Thanks for responding to a message I left on your answering machine on Sunday April 22 by creating a spot on your busy schedule on Monday April 23 for our dog Charlie who had severe diarrhea. You showed us you really care about our pet. I have been recommending both Dr. Hennings and the Grooming Room for years. We are thrilled with the care Sophie and Nicholas receive. The staff at the vet clinic is wonderful and we love Dr. Hennings. I can be a ninny worrying about Sophie and Nicholas and Dr. Hennings always answers all of my questions and I always feels calmer about whatever is happening. Sophie and Nicholas love going for their baths every week at the Grooming Room. They are so happy to go and happy when they leave. We couldn't be more pleased and I will continue to highly recommend both the Vet Clinic and the Grooming Room.

I highly recommend West Frederick Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Hiller along with all of the support staff that we've dealt with there are terrific. I always feel like our dog, Lena Belle, is getting excellent care that is both efficient and thorough. I feel like Dr. Hiller is great at listening to our concerns and helping us to make a care plan for Lena Belle. It also helps that everyone there is compassionate and obviously they all love dogs. :-)
