Beans & Bagels

It was a great experience. The cappuccino was delicious, very strong coffee (double espresso) and I ordered the cranberry orange muffins.
We sat outside, that by the way is better you grab a hard hat available inside the coffee shop, because there was a lot of nuts falling from the tree.

Easily one of Downtown Frederick's best breakfast and lunch spots. The bagels are the best in the county, seriously. Every time I go, the food is impeccable, so I keep coming back! The cinnamon raisin cream cheese is my personal favorite.

The food isn't the only thing top notch, though. The coffees at Beans & Bagels are inexpensive and DIVINE. Try Kurt's special or even go for something as simple as the caramel latte. You won't be disappointed

Nice little coffee/bagel/breakfast place with plenty of character.

They were very busy (Sunday morning, no surprise!) but our drinks still came out quickly, and bagels shortly after that. I think if you order more complicated stuff, especially stuff from the grill, you'll end up waiting longer.

The bagels were lightly toasted and had plenty of cream cheese. The lox spread was awesome, highly recommend!

There's seating inside (a few booths up front, plus some more including smaller tables up in back), as well as a few sidewalk tables outside.

Lots of Steelers memorabilia on the walls. That's probably a pro for some folks and a con for others! Neutral for us.

I ordered an everything jalapeño bagel toasted with cream cheese and the bagel itself was delicious and not too doughy, healthy dose of cream cheese. I also ordered a hot caramel latte which wasn’t overly sweet and looked amazing. It’s a super cute shop down a beautiful street lined with trees. There is plenty of paid parking off the street.

Absolutely awesome bagels, I’m from southern PA and we don’t have bagels like these, grab some whenever I can. I’ve had other food here before, but the bagels are the star. Even when I get there late and only get the less popular ones they are delicious and I appreciate all the unusual ones!!!

Love this place and the people who own & run it. It's my go-to for a breakfast or lunch sandwich (the veggie). My business, Cowork Frederick, also gets food from them on a regular basis. Small or large orders (call ahead for large) - they always provide fresh, tasty food and friendly service. I also love that they use compostable cups.

Nice service. Orders made fresh to order. Quaint spot to hang w/my bestie. There is the Carroll Creek Garage across the street from the restaurant and there is street parking (e parking is what is offered through your phone w/the QR code provided on the meter). Happy eating!!

The time change threw us off but it truly worked in our favor. We are still exploring Frederick and this was upon a recommendation. What a gem! This was a pre-birthday brunch for my husband and he was immediately hooked by the Steelers decor. Even better was the amazing food and the laid back atmosphere. This place feels like home 🥰

This is the place to go for your downtown living breakfast/brunch/lunch. The service staff are very courteous and friendly. The food is great, no complaints. The decor of the place is hip for a small quaint restaurant. I didn’t have to wait long at all for my order. Prices are reasonable and I will definitely be frequenting Beans and Bagels.

This is a one of a kind coffee & bagels joint. The atmosphere is amazing. The food is delicious and the coffee is even better. It's a location you have to try. I started making this a go to Sunday after church stop.

Listen, I've had about 10,000 cups of coffee in my lifetime (I did the math) and this was THE best cup I've ever had! And I mean better than DD, Starbucks or that which you brew at home...) The bagels are fresh, so are the muffins. Ok... so it doesn't have a fancy-schmancy over the top artsy-fartsy vibe to it, but you won't be disappointed! If you are looking for a QUALITY cup of Java THIS IS THE PLACE to get it. I can’t wait to go back!

Stopped by for great, rich, strong coffee and fabulous fresh sandwiches like grandma used to make. Fresh bread as well. We enjoyed the chicken salad and the tuna salad melt, yummy. Our son ordered the Logan sandwich which had super tender roast beef, barbecue sauce and melted cheese. Just great!

I love this place so much. I've been coming here for over 15 years and it's been consistently amazing every single time. My day was from hell yesterday but stopped in for a chicken salad sandwich and as I had hoped it made me forget my day!!! Generous serving size and perfectly freshly prepared. Only problem is this awesome shop isn't open 24 hours 😂😂

My grandson and I have made this our breakfast spot for three years and it’s where he requested to go today on his 6th birthday. He loves Mr Greg, who was kind enough to provide one of their amazing chocolate muffins and a candle to celebrate. Bagels are great and the chicken salad is out of this world. They offer different flavored coffee, lattes, etc. which never disappoint. The place has a warm and inviting feel and where people go to eat a good bagel and catch up. My only negative is that the tables and chairs could use a good cleaning.

A must stop! We had bagels and coffees and everything was delicious. Cute downtown area, we sat outside and enjoyed the weather.

A downtown staple. The service is always great and fast. You may be in a hurry and B&B will be there to provide for you. In a city quickly becoming gentrified and seeing a huge increase in price B&B is there to offer one of the few reasonably priced meals in downtown Frederick without sacrificing quality. I've been coming here for years and hope to come for many more. Keep up the good work.

Also to the lady that bought me a meal that one day when I was extremely hungover and forgot I was completely broke, thanks again.
