Just move to the area came in to grab envelopes and some stamps. By far the best customer service, she helped me get the right envelope. We even conversated then I came back and the manager was beyond amazing as well. I asked if I could borrow a little piece of tape and she was more than helpful. To me sure that my albums were secure. Just overall the atmosphere the customer service was amazing. Both their names are Sarah's. I highly recommend if you live in the area to go to this location. It is amazing

This is my favorite cvs location in all of frederick. The staff is always so nice and answers all of my questions. They usually have almost everything in stock as well. I've never used the pharmacy, so I can't comment on that.

I wanted to take the time to review this location, but first wanted to thank the manager/supervisor that was so helpful today.

Sam has to be one of the kindest souls that I have come across in customer service in a long time. My daughter misplaced her medication and I was getting the run around between insurance, doctors, and pharmacy. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she immediately got right on it, followed up with me, and just went above and beyond. I can not express enough how much I appreciated her today and just reminded me that there are still people that truly care.

This location is often busy, but I switched from Walgreens after 20 years about a year ago, and I wish I had a lot sooner!

The staff in my opinion is always friendly and working hard. Despite having to wait at times I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I had a good expirence. I transferred a prescription and it was ready in two days. First time I called there was a wait but only about 10 min. No big deal. I called a second time and it was about 15 min wait. Both women I talked to were nice. The second woman checked my insurance which was unfortunately not going to cover my prescription. She provided me a coupon that save me $84. Without insurance my prescription would have cost $121. When I drove up to pick up my prescription, the woman at the window was also nice.

I switched all of my prescriptions over from Walgreens about 4 months ago and cannot understand why I didn't do so much sooner. If you think this CVS pharmacy is bad then you've never sniffed the inside of a Walgreens pharmacy. The employees have never been anything but helpful and cheerful. They don't make me feel like I'm infringing upon their downtime. I would and will recommend this particular CVS pharmacy to everyone. Don't remember the pharmacist's name (Robert?) but he seems like a professionally stand-up guy and handles the pressures of his job quite well. Pharmacy is clearly run by effective leadership. I feel like I matter now and that gives me peace of mind. Peace of mind is invaluable to me. Stay away from Walgreens and give this place a try.

Some of these reviews are COMPLETELY off. Thos pharmacy is AMAZING. They work their butts off for everyone and do everything in their power. Those who are leaving negative reviews are obviously people without respect of others. They do all they can to provide the best service under their control. Here is an odd thing, if YOUR script isn't called in... blame your DOCTOR, not the people who are trying to fill thousands of other scripts. If YOUR insurance doesn't cover YOUR meds, try calling YOUR insurance to figure out why. It blows my mind that these comments are all negative over things this pharmacy cannot control. People need to stop being lazy and stop hounding the people we need. THANK YOU Ballenger CVS for being AMAZING. Front store and pharmacy. These negative commentors should get a job there to help out if they think the store is so bad so they can be part of the solution of lack of staff.

I’m honestly shocked at the bad reviews on here...I’m at the CVS at LEAST once a week, and I’ve never had a bad experience. I’m typically always there for prescriptions, however, I’m almost always greeted by someone who works at the front, or somewhere in the store. The pharmacy is top notch! I’ve been a customer of CVS pharmacy for many, many, years and let me tell you...this staff goes out of there way to help you out. I used to live in Olney, MD and that CVS was so busy, it would take at least 3 days to get a prescription filled. Lines wrapped around the store...This place is awesome. 😎

Pharmacists at this CVS are awesome. They are so friendly, and always smiling when i go there. I would say best service i ever received till date from any drug store. This store is my favorite, even though my insurance doesnt require to have CVS as pharmacy. I would strongly recommend getting prescription filled here, you will know output of it. Just ignore the review from last many years. Things can change in year. Sorry no offence, but I would have to disagree bad review, or they might had out of luck bad day experience, you know one of those days. Cant conclude overall ratings based on that. Thanks

I've been using this cvs for years and they have always treated me with respect.
I recently had a prescription that was very expensive but I had a coupon so I wasn't to upset. The good people behind the counter had a much better coupon than mine and saved me a ton of money. They didn't have to do that..

When ever I go into this CVS, it seems like all are very friendly. I went into the CVC today, 7/30 for some items and it was not crowded at all and everyone was very helpful. Katherine, or Katie, even opened up another register just to serve me even though there was no long line. I use this pharmacy for my regular prescriptions and vitamins and it always seems like both Katie and Martha are there to help me and offer me assistance. The pharmacy closed at 6 and Katie said it opens at 10 on Sunday. I think these employees, Katie and Martha (who was not there tonight but has been there before) deserve bonuses and rewards. I think mentioning people by name, while not knowing their last names, is important to thank them. Thank you Katie and thank you Martha for your great customer service and your always cheerful dispositions and your always wonderful smiles. Martha recently helped me find something even though she said she was "off the clock", isn't that great, and Katie is always smiling.

Nothing, this was a very pleasant shopping experience. Store had everything we needed.

I read some of these reviews and either the people complaining either came along on a bad day, or they expect immediacy. I have never had an issue. Always fast, friendly and efficient. I have lived in Warrenton, VA and CVS Blackwell was a fiasco: chaos, a wait, slow...then I moved to Bethesda, Wildwood: talk about lines and annoyances. And don't get me started about Miami 8th street! To use this wonderful, clean and fast CVS is truly a treat folks~

Place is alright, seeing all this hate doesn’t seem much different then any other similar places. It’s usually super busy yeah and I wouldn’t expect anything in at least an hour but they always have helped me out and are nice about it. And they always have me sometimes hard to find meds. This cvs is fast and clean. Everytime I need a medication refilled or dropped off ; it’s done rapidly.

Great staff! My needs are always addressed in a timely manner. They go above and beyond to help when a patient is in need.

Cvs does a great job making sure each store is consistent with their brand. Good service and always willing to help.
