Cafe Bueno

We love the Mexican food here and the atmosphere! In the warmer months, we enjoy eating outside on their patio. The staff is very alert and aware that you are there, and they care about your business. We keep coming back to try different dishes and it’s always satisfying!

Food was excellent!! I ordered the tropical pineapple fajita. It was really good loved dipping my tortilla in the pineapple juice. Would have liked to have small bits of pineapple in the fajita mix and maybe a few more shrimp, my husband loved his dish as well. Service was excellent!!

Great Mexican restaurant! Driving through on our way from Baltimore to Pittsburgh, we found this wonderful place not far off Rt 70. Everything we ordered was delicious! And the service was excellent- fast and friendly. We were there during happy hour and it was crowded, but our food came out quickly and our waitress checked on us regularly. The grilled veggie burrito is amazing! Definitely would go back!

We came on a Thursday and this place as amply full the atmosphere upbeat and enjoyable. The staff were busy but very busy and took time to help. The Baja fish tacos were excellent. The green sauce that goes with them was excellent. The steak enchiladas were great. The food overall tasted fresh and flavorful. The Moleajete de la Casa was literally everything in the house but tasted good. The rice was moist and flavorful as well as the refried beans. Definitely recommend trying if you're in the area.

This place is highly underrated. The food was fantastic (I had the steak fajitas). The service was AMAZING! There were lots of servers collectively checking on us. We couldn't have asked for better service. And we sat outside to eat on a beautiful, breezy summer day. It doesn't get much better than Cafe Bueno. Have a margarita at happy hour, sit back, relax and enjoy.

Cafe Bueno is exactly what you expect: authentic and very flavorful food. Friendly, attentive, and invested staff. Clean, well lit, and beautifully decorated. It feels, tastes, and sounds like the real deal. I give these guys 6/5. Absolutely fantastic!

The service here was almost too efficient throughout the meal (a happy problem). I swear our order came out of the kitchen less than ten minutes on a Monday night. The bathrooms here have beautiful tiles. I ordered the fajitas which were served super-sizzling. The homemade guacamole, which tastes delicious, has tomatoes. I’d highly recommend trying the medium-heat salsa, which has a smoky flavor. This salsa added much flavor to the mildly-spiced fajitas. This place is a good value.

Really consistent great Mexican food! Margaritas are slapping! Guac is really good!

Stopped here on a day trip. We had the dogs & they made sure we were set up for eating in the truck. Guacamole was so good we almost went back in from the parking lot for 2nds! Tender beef, great flavors & fresh veggies! We're in Carroll County so we'll be back for sure!

Cozy atmosphere with an amazing wait staff. Dinner for 2 (no drinks) was ~$50.

Dinner was an "Aztec" and "El Pastor" burrito - each tasted great, and was big enough to cause us both to founder and poop for days!

Food and service were outstanding. Looking forward to going back again. Huge prize and delicious.

We just tried out this restaurant last night. We ordered Chicken Fajita, Burrito and Enchiladas along with chips and roasted tomato salsa. Everything was perfect. I haven't been to Mexico yet. But this is what I assume an authentic Mexican food in Mexico would taste like. One can still taste the spices as well as chicken or any other ingredients in the food. This is on the top 3 for Mexican food we have had in the past, along with Mexican food we have had during our stay in California! And that is not a simple statement, to say the least!

I highly recommend folks try out this restaurant! Kudos to the kitchen staff at Cafe Bueno!

After spending time in Mexico, I have been on the hunt for authentic Mexican cuisine in the local area. For over a year of dining at various locations, I was always left wanting more.

Today I stopped in at Cafe Bueno in Frederick, Maryland, and completed that search. They hade ample parking to the side of the restaurant, and an easy to access location.

They say variety is the spice of life, and Cafe Bruno brings variety and authentic Mexican Culture to Frederick and the DC Metropolitan area.

There is ample outdoor seating, and a beautiful indoor setting featuring art from various ages of Mexico’s history. The music is festive and enhances the experience.

I ordered Chorizo Dip
With chips to get started. The spice and sausage infused with the cheese was perfect. I chose to get the Mexican Steak “Carne Asada” taco’s. Steak carne Asada requires time to marinate and proper temperatures and spices to compliment each other. Cafe Bueno hit the spot, and is the little slice of Mexican cuisine I have been looking for.

There was nothing about this place to not like. The food was fantastic, our servers were pleasant, and the outdoor seating is phenomenal on this gorgeous evening. They definitely deserve a 5 star rating for not only quality but quantity as well!

Best and authentic Mexican food. I have been to a lot of Mexican eateries in DMV, California, Texas and other places around the country but Cafe Bueno is the best, it tastes like homemade food plus I have been to their kitchen and it’s so clean and smells amazing.

Service is 6*, food is above par Mexican, had a steak chorizo burrito and it was superb, location is pretty good, decor isn't going to win any awards. You cannot do better for a quick lunch, gets noisy for dinner. Prices are good. One of the better Mexicans in fred. I hear that the Mexican sandwiches are v tasty.

I have been going to Cafe Bueno since they were in their original location. The food is always great and service amazing. On my last visit I have the grilled fish tacos and they were cooked and seasoned well. Just delicious!

The food is absolutely delicious, best Mexican food in the DMV area. As soon as I arrived, the smell outside let me know that I had indeed made the right choice.
