Leicester Public Library

Leicester library is very welcoming with an exceptional staff. Their Story Time is top of the line for young children. My grandson attended, and it made such a difference in his social skills, helping him prepare for kindergarten. Of course, I go for the books! Great selection.
Saturday 2/12/22 My grandsons and I visited the library today and they got to participate in a scavenger hunt. They needed to find 13 different animals that were hanging out in the library. They finally found the last one, a raccoon, that was literally "hanging out" at the Leicester Library. Great visit.

My home town is Leicester,Mass. It was great to see another town named Leicester. The staff at the library was great and they enjoyed sharing their knowledge of their hometown.

I went today to switch my card back to Buncombe and to get my son his first library card. Both of the librarians were very helpful and were excellent with my 8 year old. They had him do the scavenger hunt looking for Animal tails and one of them (sorry I don't remember name) helped him find books to read. Great experience.

Entire staff is helpful and kind. Love being able to access all of NC libraries through Cardinal system and have them waiting for me at my lovely little local library!

This is such a wonderful resource for the Leicester community. The librarians are always very helpful and very patient with my daughter. They offer story time, Lego club, and various seasonal classes and clubs. There is a surprising selection for a rural branch.

We love the Leicester Library. Beautiful building in a beautiful place. Some of the librarians live up to the stereotype, but others, especially Jen, are so sweet and make visiting a pleasure.

Great garden, free food from the garden available in the library, great facilities!

A building full of books and helpful librarians. How bad could it be? All sorts of programs for kids and adults. Your local library is a great resource. Don't forget about it, and support it.

Nice spit for children's reading and song time. Nice children's section. Like the books on diversity in kids section. Very nice and patient employees.

We visited today for returning books and checked out new ones. Several weeks ago I caught this paraglider over the library. Smokies are in the background.
