Great people, very kind and friendly with kids. We are so happy there is such place exist. They give a first hair certificate with picture, and hair for souvenir. Cannot emphasis how great his place and we had such a great service over there. Tim did an excellent job and we are grateful for everyone in the store. Defiantly recommend!! to any parents if they want a happy and friendly place for their kids to have a hair cut.

We had an excellent experience at this salon. My youngest is autistic and we came in for his first haircut and he just wasn't having it, but Christina was amazing and worked through the meltdown. She was so patient and kind and never got frustrated and his hair turned out so cute. We will definitely be back!

Courteous and helpful staff. They accommodate your needs for your little ones to have a fast and fun experience. Cool little waiting area with play table and activity area while you wait. As always we'll be back!

Wonderful environment for kids haircuts. Our stylist did a fantastic job, and was very friendly with our hesitant 3.5 year old. Train table in the waiting area was a big hit!

Stephanie was outstanding. We took both our kids (3 years old and 18 months old) here for their firat haircuts as they specialize in children. They provided a certificate and a lock of their hair and a photo, to remember the event. In addition, they let your child choose their car to sit in and then let them watch a movie or show from their large collection of DVDs. We will definitely return as they are friendly, professional and caring with children.

My son is 4, and is non-verbal autistic. He HATES the scissors portion of getting his hair cut, and fought his stylist today but she kept her cool, was so sweet working with him and did such a great job giving him a handsome haircut. Now he's ready for back to school! Will definitely be going back ♥♥

We've been here a few times now, and each time the people working here have been nothing but kind and patient and they always do an excellent job with my wiggly toddlers hair. They always show him exactly what they're about to use to make it easier on him and as a child who is all about exploration, he loves this. He also loves that the chairs that they have in here and loves to pretend to drive the Jeep while getting his cut! I definitely recommend this place if you are looking to get your littles hair cut because they really do such a wonderful job and my little enjoys going!

Loved this place! Our son turns two in about 3 weeks, so I took him to get his first haircut. His stylist, Stephanie, did such an amazing job! He looks so cute. She also did great at keeping him entertained so he actually sat still. And he loved sitting in the cute little fire truck salon chair, too. They have screens at every seat, too, so if your child wants to watch something to keep them entertained they can. I also loved the keepsake certificate with a photo and lock of hair to keep in his baby book. I 100% recommend this place and will be taking my son back for future haircuts.

We had Ms. Haley for my 3 year old daughter's first haircut. My daughter definitely came in a bit afraid, especially of getting her hair washed. Ms. Haley was so kind and patient with her, And reassured her the whole way. She worked very well with my child turning every which direction looking at all the things to see in there, I was certain there was no way the haircut wasn't going to come out crooked...how could someone cut a straight line with their client moving so much?! Much to my surprise the cut turned out great! Very satisfied and will definitely be going back next time!

I've taken my 14 month old son there twice and Carrie has cut his hair both times. She is so fantastic. She is sweet and makes him comfortable. His hair always looks amazing and we both leave very happy with the results of our visit. I can't recommend them enough, but especially Carrie!

I couldn’t say enough wonderful things about this place! My son will NOT go to another person (we love Ms. Stephanie) and he’s turning 7 next month. When I asked him why we couldn’t go to a “grown up barber shop?” He replied, “Because Ms. Stephanie is the absolute best!”

Amazing patient staff! Our 2.5 yr old screamed the entire time, and still received a beautiful cut. Thank you Ms. Haley, we look forward to coming back!

My son loved it, the toys and the setting of the place made it easy for my son to get his hair cut. He did not cry at all and the staff were really nice.

This place is adorable! They have a large selection of nice smelling shampoos, movies for your child to watch and different cars they can sit in for their hair cut! The hair stylist was sweet and fantastic with my child! We had trouble keeping my kid still since she loved driving the car, but that was the only issue! She let my kid pick out the shampoo, the type of car to sit in and even braided her hair with a butterfly clip that my child picked. I got her hair washed, cut AND braided along with 3 first hair cut certificates, all for only $23! I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone with children!

I have a daughter on the spectrum. Today I took her to another salon and she experienced a meltdown. We ended up having to leave in the middle of the haircut. I called The Hairy Elephant and spoke to Carrie, explained the situation and asked if there was anyway they could help me. She found a way to squeeze me in. From the moment we arrived, Carrie had a very calm and gentle attitude and treated my daughter with so much love. Once we left, my daughter said "this was the best haircut ever!" Carrie took a really bad situation for my daughter and made it wonderful. We are very thankful for her and will definitely be returning in the future.

The stylist I had was PHENOMENAL!!Absolutely amazing with my overwhelmed 2yo. I wish I remembered her name! He has had about a dozen haircuts before this, but this was by far my happiest haircut for my son. So amazing!

We have been going here for years! Miss Stephanie has been so wonderful to our kids. Not only does she do an excellent job cutting their hair, but she has always been so kind and treats our children with so much love and patience. It's truly like seeing family when we go in there!

WE ARE BEYOND HAPPY AND PLEASED. Today we took our almost 4 year old for her FIRST haircut, we were extremely nervous for numerous reasons but mostly because she isn't good at sitting still long but from the moment we walked in the atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant we were greeted with a smile and a welcome. our stylist was Haley and she exceeded everything we hoped for From the beginning. she introduced herself to myself, her dad and her and walked her through the process step by step. First she got to pick out her shampoo there were over 6 options of scents from vanilla to watermelon. Our daughter got nervous washing her hair but haley talked with her and was able to calm her. The haircut process went smooth and she watched paw patrol during it! Our daughter was ready to get down and Haley was able to keep her in there long enough to finished then let her pick out some butterfly clips and did a braid in her hair! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

Amazing service! My almost two year old loves being able to ride the fire truck and train. The stylists are so fast and patient. Stephanie even took the time to help my son sit in different trucks while I paid up front. Definitely worth going to the professionals because we have had some traumatizing haircut experiences at home and it's so easy and stress-free at The Hairy Elephant!

Carrie did my 3yr son Oliver's hair for me. I myself am a licensed working stylist but with my son being autistic, my tools are too loud and vibrate too much for him that he gets over stimulated. She was soo patient and also helped soothe him while he was upset and having a moment. I appreciate you Carrie for everything you did! You my dear are a true rock star! Will be back to see you!
