I like going in to sunset supply. We try to support local businesses when we can. Purchased boots for Christmas gifts and repair supplies for the house.

A hidden gem in an out of the way place that is worth going to. I truly miss places like this that used to be plentiful years ago but have been forced out by everyone’s love for electronic/virtual shopping. The folks in the store and the couple of older locals hanging talking local stuff did my heart good to know that there are still real people like this. Now about the store. Boots are plentiful and are grouped together kinda and the isles are narrow. They have a lot of hard to find models and sizes (I seen a couple size 17!) I was there for an hour and they let me poke around trying on and walking around never making me feel rushed. I chose a pair of Georgia Boots and was pleasantly surprised at the answer to my inquiry about the price as it was much lower than any price I’ve seen online. I was behind on time so I wasn’t able to poke around the rest of the store but, you can bet I will be back to do so! Great American experience and highly recommend!

What a selection of boots, hunting, work, dress you name they had it along with some clothing for men, women and children. To add to the list was any kind of hardware, tool or parts for all kinds of item's you may have. The personnel was polite, friendly and helpful.

We were in desperate need of some wirk boots! They had a wide selection and the customer service was beyond expectations! We got there close to closing but she took her time helping us and several other customers! So friendly! We found the perfect boot for my Husband. I am glad we took the drive out to the store. We love supporting local brick and mortar stores! Not those big box stores!

Great supply of items, and a friendly face right when you walk in. The owner (I assume) stood at the register and when I came over to ask for work boots he showed me all qualities of boot and helped me pick based off of my needs. Very knowledgeable and threw in a free leather protectant as a gift for coming. Very great store, one of my favorite

Great local hardware and workboot store. Super selection of hardware, tools, Red Wing and Timberland boots. Store has a little of everything. Everytime I think I'll need to go to one of the big home improvement or automotive stores I stop here and they have what I need usually as cheap or cheaper. Staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. Always a friendly down home local atmosphere. I highly recommend.

This is a fun store to shop at. Big selection of high end boots and nice selection of rugged clothes like Carhardt, Dickies, etc and tools and supplies. They probably will have what you're looking for.

This is a small hardware store but it is packed with everything you might need. It's not your Lowe's or home Depot. It doesn't sell lumber or drywall. But I'd look here first before going anywhere else. Saves you a drive into town and is friendly and has a HUGE selection of work boots.

Always an awesome experience when I go to this small-town store. The staff is friendly and well educated on every product in the store. When they were out of the boot I wanted, they ordered it for me which was nice since I didn't have any other luck with any other shoe stores in Frederick, well I did, but this store had a lower price and more experienced staff. I really don't understand what Scott Miller is talking about, but I have three guesses. 1. He is either too idiotic to know what kind of shoe he is looking for or how to ask for it 2. He tried buying shoes after closing hours, which circles back to idiocy or 3. He's clearly a representative for Red Wing shoes my guess is he's all three, and just as an extra note, trying to degrade customers in to coming to this store and hoping they come into yours, produces quite the opposite reaction actually, we aren't all easily tricked you know.

Been going here forever, nice people, great prices, and impossible to leave empty handed. They have the boots you need. Highly recommend

I buy all my work clothes and boots at Sunset and have been doing so for almost 20 years. Very friendly and knowledgable staff - Mee-maw knows every boot and price in that store. A pleasure to deal with.

Great family run business, unbelievable selection of work boots, helpful/polite staff. Tools, hardware, work and hunting clothes, deer processing supplies. Just a great place to shop.

This is a old fashioned, family owned hardware farm supply store.
The people are always very nice and easy to deal with. Prices are reasonable too!
